I need 7 right now! Obviously it is not available in my country but is it available in Australia our closes neighbor or not? What is the cost of one unit? How often do you replace the lazers? What is the cost of replacing lazers? Can a owner do a diy replacement of the lazers? Do you have mail order or is it available on Amazon for overseas customers? Greetings from Papua New Guinea!
I was gonna go for a projector like this, especially for the 1440p 120hz support. But eventually all the downsides of projectors widely talked about from pixel shift, stuck HDR, to lumen numbers, rainbow effect, too pricey, i just went for an OLED tv, don't regret it.
What the hell is a laser lumens? What is the projector's ANSI lumens, please?
Confirmed as just over 2000 ANSI lumens at max brightness and 1000 in the most colour accurate mode REC.709.
You'll want this on the shortest throw ratio on a screen no more than 120inchs diagonal to get the most out of it.

When I connect the ViewSonic LX700-4K to Windows computer it would always lock in HDR display mode, many others have reported the same problem!
Are you ever going to fix it??
Turn off hdr on display setting of Windows. It happens on other HDR display as well.

This. It uses trilaser and has better colors.. The X2-4K is short throw. This is longer throw.
There are no reviews of this yet that I'm aware of. This model is not their current LX700 model. It's a new version, which SHOULD have gotten a new name to go with it as it uses a tri-laser setup. It should be brighter with better colors. But, we won't know until Viewsonic starts sending out review units to places like Projector Central and others that do proper reviews.
@@paulvail7926 Yep. It's a stupid name. French reviewer says it's got good colors as expected and is generally a nice projector, but is much dimmer than the single laser projectors like the the regular LX700-4K so it's only for dark rooms and smaller screens. It's probably perfect for someone who has a small batcave home theater and needs a simple gaming/movie projector with no motion interpolation or upscaling. I like the fact it does 24p natively with no artifacts.
When will this release in europe?
This may be branded as the LX700-4K Ultra in Europe. Keep an eye out for both model numbers. I have no details beyond that, but early reviews are starting to trickle in, and they seem pretty solid. NOT as bright as advertised of course and 5,200 laser lumens isn't a 'standard' like ANSI or CVIA would be. 3,500 ANSI has been advertised by them elsewhere and they should leave the marketing garbage at the door.

No they will not fix the HDR stuck problem... because they think they are to good on the market, and the comunication in the marketing team is also defective like the Hdr problem of these projectors. I returned 2 lx700-4k models. Lx700 has also big rainbow effect, for a 2024 laser projector is unbelievable bad! I recomend you to return them they are rubish. Do not listen to the influencers that Viewsonic payed to talk only good.
I never had the HDR stuck problems but I did return it today. I thought it was an excellent projector but 100% brightness the fan was a bit loud for my taste and I did see rainbow effect playing PC games at 4K 60fps. Also didn't like that its not very adjustable to fit my screen and it did feel quite small like a toy. I'm looking to getting an Epson LS11000 or LS12000 as my 13 year old Epson 8350 is still going strong but need a replacement soon. But i'm very curious about the LX700-4K RGB as this has no color wheel and supposed to have much higher contrast.
@@eplugplay8409 be carefull with lx700 rgb because the lummens are a few comparing to lx700-4k. Of course the rgb versuon is better at the colors. The light is the problem to that one.
@@eplugplay8409 this model has a rgb source of light, it means there are three color beam, there is no color wheel.... it can`t display rainbow effect
