I don't know the official name, but I call it the Left to Right slate. It's fun to try, but personally I don't recommend it. To find out more why I don't think it's worth the $70, check out my video called "10 Different Types of Braille Slates".
I love my four page slate. I think my only complaint, and it mostly has to do with me, is when I lose my place, it's kind of hard to find it again. I understand, I need to keep track of wine, and count the dots in the middle of the rose, but it can be a bit tedious. Any tips?
Hi! I must confess, I cheat when using a slate. I am a sighted braille reader and I keep my eyes open when slating. I unfortunately don't have tips. Maybe you've learned some over the last four months since you left the comment? (I apologize for the delay. Life has been hectic.)
The correct way of installing the paper for Braille upwriter device is from below, not from the upper side. Like in this video.. ua-cam.com/video/_Un2FsGcdJo/v-deo.html
I never realized there are this many styles of slates.
Very nice!
Thank you for checking it out! Do you have a favorite slate? Or does it depend on what you're doing?
Wait Americans don't use A4 paper? I thought that was universal.
Would you please tell the name of that pink braille writing equipment. It is so cool..
