These guys are totally insane or geniuses. I say geniuses cause I've been having buttock and low back pain for 2 years chronically and since doing their stuff, the pain is down like 90%. This shit is no joke.
Anybody in here hating on GOATA: do it for 3 months & if you entire body isnt changed then you can talk shit. If you’re not willing to do that, you shouldn’t really speak about it not working or being a sham. I’m not affiliated with GOATA in anyway & have been working w a coach off & on for over a year & I’ve literally never felt better in my life. I went from unable to get through a single day without lower back pain, completely unable to even jog, everything I did hurt to being able to do virtually anything & play any sport at a competitive level with no pain at all and endurance beyond people half my size. It’s amazing. It takes work & consistency literally multiple times a day every day for several months & eventually it becomes more just maintenance. It took 6 months for me to be able to jog safely within the GOATA shapes & now I’ll never have pain again. Like I said, if you haven’t done it…idk why you’re saying it doesn’t work.
I was told about it today. I’m a pretty elite athlete… 5’9”, 200 lbs, run mid 4.6’s on my 40, etc… was told about this today, unfortunately at the end of a plyometric exercise, but I implemented some of this stuff and it totally made sense! Love these guys
Hello there, how do we integrate these patterns and exercice into our "athletic" training, I mean say today I train these movements and tomorrow I go running and playing basketball, what would be a good approach ?
So think of integrating these patterns like developing habits. To develop a habit you have to give yourself some time to establish it, same with the patterns. Make sure you're getting constant stimulation with these movement patterns throughout your day so when you go to play basketball you don't have to think about it. The movement patterns become an unconscious habit so you can stay injury/pain free
hello can someone answer me pls i have dislcoated my knee cap while kicking a boxing bag at muay thai, i do practice goata but my mistake was to try out muay thai, will goata fix my knee stability so my kneecap does not dislocate again? please help :(
Their word usage can be tough to accept at first but I swear by mf Goata for knee pain. If you read this and are angry because it challenges most of what you know, I get it. I was there too. It was grating against my belief system. BUT, you must try it and keep an open mind, as with everything. If after 1 month you feel it’s not for you, then move on, but you must try.
Let me guess, they can’t reeeeaallly explain the efficacy. Using a lot of made up terms only used in their system so they can sound smart by not saying anything at all.
If you look into it slightly deeper, you will find their “system” is not really anything new. It’s just making your body go back to how it was meant to move. You’ll find the efficacy if you want to or never find it you don’t want to.
@@Edabeast18 when I watch numerous videos by these people, visit multiple websites, read multiple articles, and never find a straight explanation…you know it’s horse shit. “How it’s meant to move,” according to who/what?

Nicely said. It's amazing how many people are experts on everything nowadays.
Interesting stuff, but my friend disagrees with some of what you're saying and thinks you're too naive to see the holes in some of your logic.
@@Robert-gm8igthen explain where the holes are instead of just insulting
Without the explanations I would’ve dismissed these drills.
Fascinating stuff.
Mark that was a great session. The smaller things matter.
GOATA all the way! Loving these vids and this info

Love how you test out methods different than yours. Can you test out functional patterns next? I’d love to hear your thoughts on it
Hell yeah...Naidi
Mark Bell you are the Santa Clause of fitness thank you
I love those spirals! 🌀
It has to be the most accessible, foundational, and observational map of human movement in the modern times. Functional Patters comes close.

Thanks again MBPP and the GOATA crew for another great exercise.
If I don't have a barbell plate, can I substitute it with a kettlebell?
I use a water jug for these drills, it doesn't really matter what you use as long as it's a reasonable weight.
