Jeep Wrangler Hardtop Leak Fix - Part 1

That’s how I fixed the leaking hardtop on my Jeep Wrangler.
Note: this is the first out of three-part fix. Even though, this was a significant improvement, the window seal foam turned out to be not a hundred percent fix. There is still a tiny leak but it is way smaller than before. Cleaning the seals/weather stripping and rejuvenating rubber made big difference.

This is so odd! This is exactly where water comes into my jeep also. Its a steady drip. Drivers side upper left door corner.

Nice video & job cleaning but the issue is there is no gasket on the body where the door meets up. Shame on Jeep. $45 k and it leaks.

I didn't endup replacing mine. Id imagine that the dealer would have OEM or you can check Amazon or ebay for aftermarket. Good luck.

Add a gasket to the inside of the door. I fixed mine with $7.00 Frost King gasket @ Home Depot. Ha, brand new $45K Jeep & it leaks.

Did you see parts 2 and 3? In my case, the leak completely stopped after I did all 3 steps. Good luck!
