    Idk why ford would make it so hard for us to check transmission oil!!! but everything else is very much easy to do.... Thanks for the video.

    Can anyone tell me how to change my trans fluid in a ford fusion hybrid 2019?

  • @kyleisdaman100
    @kyleisdaman100 Рік тому +1

    If the brake fluid is low, doesn't necessarily mean it's leaking, your brake pads could be getting worn out and needing replaced. don't automatically add brake fluid if it's low, have a brake inspection done if you cannot accurately judge for yourself.

    My 2017 Ford Fusion 2.0 Hybrid has "electronic coolant". The manual doesn't specify what this is. I assume its the same HOAT coolant that the radiator uses, but until I buy a Chilton's manual, I won't actually know!

    Got an oil change a long time ago. I’m past due and the oil is still full over the top. It’s been like that for a while.

    • @kadeparrish7426
      @kadeparrish7426 4 роки тому +8

      Oil will stay full, you need to change it because oil has a lifespan, it's bad for your engine not to change it

    • @titantenacity6107
      @titantenacity6107 4 роки тому +1

      @Hunt16 if you take too long to change the oil, it can become thick and sludgy and thats not good for the engine. recommended is 3,000 or every 3 month but ive gone 9 months, ~ 9k miles and my oil was very very dark black which isnt good. so i recommend doing it at the changing intervals (i would say every 4-5 months)

    There is a way to check tranny fluid. You just have too lift the car up and undo the fill plug.

    Why is your coolant so low? This is a problem in Fusions. My fusion was pressure-tested, but it keeps losing a coolant every 400 miles (its level falls from MAX to MIN).

      @@r3x_delta30 You mean you have the same problem? Could you give some details? I did not have the problem the first 30000 miles. I just add coolant.

      He did not forget. I mentioned that Power steering runs on a pump system. He also said car needs to go to dealership for transmission service.
