It's just insane how much better lurkers are compared to siege tanks. They're so incredibly fast, and their aoe can't even be compared. Their aoe obliterates colossus when it comes to their potential. I can't say I understand how this can be considered balanced.

Man I love your content and watching these players play...but I just decided last night to quit this game. I've been playing SC since it came out and love it. But I just can't play online anymore. Everytime I try to, I get demolished. This game is fun but no matter how much I train, I just can't win. I haven't won a match in over a month...and I play at least 14 to 18 matches a week. So keep up the great commentary and I'll be here to support you because your great at what you do. For me, it's sunset time.

Your bias makes it hard to click on your videos, your spoiling each individual game, pretty much giving away the winner. You barely try to hide it for the viewers. We all know who is going to win, but you’re giving away each game base on your commentary.

Winter, long-time fan. I watch every episode on the big screen with my morning coffee. That's my routine.
This was awesome! First person cam on Serral made my day. He is BY FAR my favorite player to watch. I get a little irritated when people call him boring. I think the nuance in his play is more fascinating than anything Dark does.
Side note: would also love to see more angry coach. You are really in your element when you do it.

A dominating player is good for the scene for sure. Everyone loves watching a master at work. Or at least cheering for the underdog. Its insane going back to these games and seeing all the details in Serrals play. Its crazy to think, but this is pobably the best he has ever looked, even taking 2018 into consideration.
Eventually others will also evolve and catch up to him, which is great. Oliverira for example has been climbing recently and apparently practices with Serral.
I'm putting down money that Oliveira will be the only player to beat Serral this year - think he & only he has a chance
Oli sure looked mighty fine against Serral in the semis. He took 2 games off him - it even looked scary for Serral for a bit. He seemed like the only one who could win against him, for sure.

Playing Serral is like playing tennis against a wall, that is 20 seconds in the future.
I deeply enjoy watching Serral play. For one, I play Zerg. Then, I am awed by his way of playing, his strategizing, and his meta game. It's a master at work, breathtaking in every sense!
Serral the type of player to say its over just because he lost 5 drones and then proceeds to win later
I love watching his stream and he's like omg this is so bad, this start is so bad because a drone had to take a detour to a mineral patch and then just dominates.

Was at DreamHack Dallas with a sign that said “Serral is why Zerg gets nerfs” and I stand by that statement even as a Protoss main. Crazy that Olivera could push him like that but otherwise just casually stomping pros.

I respect your dedication to preserving tension but at the risk of fanboying, the title has Serral in it. Stetmann hasn't invented kryptonite strong enough to deal with him after he got over his Reynor aversion.
He was just styling in that last game - "Here, let me show you how to do that thing you tried to do to me twice..."
Serral is one of my favorites to watch. Hes so good, its readily apparent. He makes everyone else look human. You did a great job casting, and I appreciate the detailed explanation of what's happening on Serral's side of things.
Genuinely enjoy Serral casts more than most
Some fun outliers like Byun or PartinG (not clem or reynor) but mostly the mechanically sound players, even including like Maru and as you said that korean 'playing for the series' mindset
Yes both Serral games and Mirror match ups require a different style of cast to your usual, and I personally think they're good (when that piece is solved) - even if it's not as regular, appreciate the few that come through

His matchfix cheating puts his accomplishments into question and did serious damage to the SC2 scene.
@@AdmiralBisonthe match fixing he did was giving others free game wins in a series to make it closer, he still won those series and to my knowledge never fixed a match to win, only to give his opponents a fighting chance. Life was an absolute god of the game and just made some poor decisions. It’s like if serral gave a single win to Maru in a bo7 and still won the series, not competitive and warrants a ban from tournaments but doesn’t detract from the skill
@@AdmiralBison Nope. Life never paid to win a fight, quite the other way round, he got paid to lose. And no major games as far as i remember. His accomplishments are without question and personally i think he got punished way too hard for what he actually did, but i guess they wanted to make an example of him.
Now Serral vs. Life? Serral would dominate, because the game has changed so much since then. Now If Life would still be playing competevly? Maybe, it would certainly be a fairer fight.
@@Daniel-rd6st Honestly it hard to say, given the fact that Life and the other korean sc2 match fixer really completely killed the scene in korea for sc2. It also why you dont see many more talent pools come out of korea anymore. Without KeSPA really put the nail in the coffin for koreans sc2 scene.

The whole thing is quite sad. Life was basically a kid who developed a gambling addiction, was used by absolute scum, and became the face of the scandal, even though he's arguably a victim of the people actually running the thing.
Idk why people still try to debate who the GOAT is for SC2. Serral is busted. But man is he fun to watch. I dont think hes boring, having played zerg and brotoss for years before I quit, Knowing what he can do when im just diddling in diamond, stuck on just being effective is just crazy. The mechanical skill on that man, sheesh.
Saying: 'watching Serral is boring' is just as bad as saying: 'watching Michael Jordan is boring'. They're basically on the same level at this stage, and other than Jordan's famous air dunks, he wasn't too flashy of a player. He simply had insane fundamentals and was the ultimate all around player, with 0 weaknesses. Just like Serral. He wasn't particularly big or strong, he was a guard after all, and didn't really excel in any one aspect of the game, he just did everything well. Just as Serral isn't an offensive player like Byun or a defensive one like Maru, he's just great at everything.

The one bad thing about following Serral games is that other pro Zerg games look amateurish sometimes thus less enjoyable to watch
watching Serral is an adventure at first you look at his opponent then you think ok Serral what are you going to do the guy is ahead in army and upgrades then a few minutes later and some quantum engineering and Serral won while the rest of us are still trying to figure out how Serral starts the next game
Haven't watched SC2 regularly for years. Coming back and watching Serral play... there are high level zerg players, and then there is Serral. Its an obvious difference he's a level above everyone.
If playing against serral is like poker then he has 2 aces in both sleeves and a mirror behind his opponent while nobody can say anything about them

The crazy thing is, between the predator drones, and losing an overlord with minimal scouting against Oliveira, Serral is getting sloppy, for Serral.
It's like he wrote an eight page document, and double spaced one time.
It was fun watching the master of his craft work for a while.

serral has an almost 90% winrate in professional tournaments, it's insane
It's something around 50-4 in two premier tournaments this year iirc (and only Oliveira managed to get 2 games in BO5 series against him).
Is he the best player, zero doubt. Is he interesting to watch...for me, no he is not. Anyway i will keep supporting My favourite Caster always. Keep it up with your amazig work Winter

ZvZ and PvP is a lot harder to cast because there is so much mindgames, that means play by play cast makes it look meh but its really interesting when someone knows the matchup well, sadly not many do and way too many casters write it off entirely as boring. This is also why most casters prefer tvz as its the most forgiving matchup to cast.
edit: also how in the world did serral lose 2 drones in that drone pull vs hero, I saw when it happened and here again, just how??!

The gulf of skill between Serral and Dark, arguably the second best zerg in the world right now, is just so disgusting. Serral is just on a whole other level. I'd say the only other person who is close to being that dominant right now is maybe Clem.
Like I dont think he smurfing but only one who was able to play equal games or series was Olivera but maru in finals was not even equal game but I think he lost more mentally than as gamer he just dont believe in himself.
