This time I hope we don't lose the frames. Thanks for this awesome tutorial! Now I'm hoping I got the same patience you have. I tried using the mesh for the first time for a circle my client wants and it already took me hours. LOL.
im fighting to get back to projects like these, objects are cool too, but if you can get a face down, nothing will stop you IMO, I think i want to give a car scene a shot
I am gonna spend a whole month drawing that Lips and that eye. And trying to be so perfect as you are, and yeah waiting for another episode on gradient mesh.
i am working on an original abstract art piece combining color and realistic mesh. Im just prepping the drawing. I do a lot of different types of art so thats why I am not 100% focused on gradient mesh, but with comments like this, it inspires me to make more. ty!

the lips were def a challenge for me as well, but with putting my head down and grinding, i got it done

This can easily take 30 hours or more depending on your speed
I use gradient mesh for only lips and eyes. That's all the patience i have.
