I remember watching this film when I was very young thinking " if I ever have a child and her father decides to marry another (that is if I get married ,first hehe, which I did..)I would surely love for my kid to have an amazing stepmom with whome I'd love to get along with. Well, fast forward to now, I have a 15 yo girl who has an AMAZING stepmom with whome I get along very well and consider her my family! Dreams do come true hahaha. Love this film, love my life and thank the lord for making all of my daughters dreams come true 🙏💗 she has so many loving people around her ,showing her the example of compassion and support. I didn't have that ,growing up... God bless all
Remember kids of today, we used to be able to move freely all over the airport even through gates and security if you weren’t flying.. you could show up at an airport when you knew nobody flying and walk to every single gate if you wanted to..
I used to do that just to relax when I was stressed, just walk around inside the airport watching those big planes flying and people from all over the world speaking different languages...but all is gone.
I first saw this movie back in October 2005. On a Saturday afternoon. Loved it and it made me sad. I'm close With my parents but especially my mom. Seeing Jackie dying of cancer is sad. But the movie is great and entertaining. Haven't seen it since 10 years ago when I was age 10. Just came across this clip tonight and took a trip down memory lane.
Back in the day when you can meet people at the gate...those were the days
This was three years before 9/11. I remember during the first Gulf War that there were restrictions, but 9/11 changed it permanently.
You were still able to do that before COVID….COVID ruined literally everything

@John A terrorism in terms of airplanes has been happening since the 60’s and 70’s.. it was huge then

One of my favorite movies. Can’t tell you how many times I have seen it. My daughter loves it too.
Isabel is a such a great, nice stepmom!
On a side note, I forgot how minimum security airports used to be. To be young and worry free in the world.
Before 9/11...
9/11 changed the rules, the world, everything.
still great after all these years
TEARZZ...UNDERSTANDZ ...TY FOR THIS SCENE...
this is sooo beautiful...wow
The music is beautiful
It would have been funny if Isabel or Ben and Anna painted the Creation of Adam from the Sistine Chapel on Jackie’s wall.
Always cry when I watch this movie 😭😭
The house looked so cozy then. Now it's just too modern inside.
The good old days, before the fall of the republic ...
This isn't Star Wars...
lol ok
All the feels. I need to watch this again
Isabel and Jackie became friends
*(GASP)CRYING...HEART HEAVY* @ 1:34

Sad movie cuz my sister also died of cancer
Great movie
Hi from Ireland. Would anyone know the piece playing as she enters the room?
It’s the incidental music for the film
Look up the film score
Definitely suggest Stepmom Soundtrack if you're curious about it. Hello from New England and also have Irish heritage. 😊🇮🇪
