I do a most disappointing video each year which is in theory that. But it would be fun to make it a more direct reaction. I kind of wish I did that 2 weeks ago haha
So cool to see a newer style from you!! Here’s my most anticipated. 1. Oppenheimer 2. Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1 3. Dune Part 2 4. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 5. Spider-Man Into The Spider-verse Edit - I’m also pumped for John Wick 4 because I recently watched them and loved them.
My most anticipated movie of the year would be Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. I am a huge Transformers fan and went so long without a new Transformers movie and I just can't wait!
Here are 10 of my Anticipated 2023 Movies (in addition to the ones mentioned in Sean’s list) 1. The Pope’s Exorcist (Julius Avery, director of Overlord) 2. Next Goal Wins (Taika Waititi) 3. Beau is Afraid (Ari Aster, director of Hereditary) 4. True Love (Gareth Edwards) 5. Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret (Kelly Fremon Craig, director of The Edge of Seventeen) 6. Asteroid City (Wes Anderson) 7. Challengers (Luca Guadagnino, director of Bones and All) 8. Pixar's Elemental 9. Infinity Pool (Brandon Cronenberg) 10. Wonka (Paul King, director of the Paddington movies)
I really enjoy that you’re going into different directions with this live ranking, Sean! My Top 6 are: 1. SM: ATSV 2. Indiana Jones 5 3. Guardians 3 4. Quantumania 5. Super Mario Bros. 6. Oppenheimer
My top 3 anticipated movies are 1. Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 2. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 3. Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania My runner ups are 1. Shazam Fury of the Gods 2. Fast X 3. Dune Part 2
I’m most excited for the Mario movie. Chris’s voice is not bad, and it’s evident that Mario is gonna fade into his iconic voice (though I’m still curious of what Charles Martinet will be doing). As a persistent fan of Mario, I’ve noticed things have gotten tons more story-focused (especially since 2013, we’re in what I like to call the 3D World era). Everything teased has hit me the correct way, as someone where Mario is my favorite thing in the world. I can’t wait(?) to see the songs in the film, as there are confirmations that Bowser and others will be singing, and also Koji Kondo is working on the music. Miyamoto has been working on this since 2015, I think the Mario movie is ready. MY BODY IS READY. Let’s-a go! Mushroom Kingdom, here I come! My second most excited is Ant-Man 3. He’s my third favorite MCU hero (behind Doctor Strange and of course Iron Man). I’ve only been disappointed by the Marvels content of the MCU.
I just love how entire families are there. You represent what movies mean to me: great stories that create family traditions and fun, even life-changing experiences. Thank you!
I’ll need to make a “I Watch Sean Chandler Too Much” T-Shirt. It’s always exciting to hear phrases like “My list isn’t the right list, it’s just my list, and I would love to see yours” and hear the theme music over the 2023 opening film collage and when the logo comes up I just hype and go crazy
I’m personally looking forward to creed 3 the most this year, they seem to be cutting ties with the rocky franchise with Stallone not appearing and the villain being someone from Adonis’ past instead of Rocky’s, Jonathan Majors looks to be killing it as the new villain and looks to be hav`ing an interesting dynamic with Adonis as he spent his life behind bars while Adonis was living it up in LA. Hopefully with MBJ in the directors chair he can bring a satisfying conclusion to Adonis’ arc However, there's a chance that we get kingsman 3 this year so if we do get a concrete date on that it will be bumped up to first
Definitely Oppenheimer comes in number one! This year i have been watching C Nolan and fell in love with his movies. Killers of the Flower moon comes in second because the story is very interesting and it was shot close to where we live in Oklahoma so we know many people who worked on it! Keep it up Sean!
My Top 10 I can’t come up with 15 for some reason 1. Scream VI 2. Spider-Man Across the Spider-verse 3. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 4. Missing 5. FNAF Movie 6. M3GAN (Already Seen but was excited) 7. Super Mario Bros Movie 8. Wonka 9. John Wick 4 10. Dungeons and Dragons
my most anticipated have to be (in no particular order) 1. Super Mario Movie - Chris Pratt Mario doesn’t bother me too much tbh, just happy to see these characters on the big screen 2. Beau is Afraid - Joaquin Phoenix and A24 together is wild and the trailer look very interesting and thematically rich 3. Gotg 3 - My favorite set of MCU characters in their last film together. Looks like it has the emotional punch that I’ve been missing from most of the MCU, and I believe that James Gunn will write these guys out of the MCU the best way possible. 4. John Wick 4 - the best action franchise in the game. I eat up these movies and re-watch them consistently. 5. Across the Spider-verse - the first was absolutely amazing and I have full faith that the sequel will live up to the hype It’s going to be a great year for movies, I have so many more I want to add haha Edit: honorable mention to knock at the cabin, I’m oddly optimistic about this M Night movie probably because Dave Bautista is in it.
I am extremely excited! I hope 2023 will include the The Nut Job 3 as well as other exciting movies. I also hope you will have a great time watching your most anticipated movies of 2023. Other movies of 2023 I believe I will watch are Super Mario Bros, Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse, Elemental, Ant-Man Quantumania, and Guardians of the Galaxy 3 though. Sorry if you are not the type of person I should be talking to about The Nut Job 3, nor if you ever heard of, but I am extremely desperate. I know there will be a Nut Job 3.

I live within driving distance of New Orleans, but found out too late about the show and your presentation to be able to find an affordable room. So sorry I missed it. I enjoyed the video of you live. Well done.
2023 is just going to be a fantastic / stacked year for movies, and I Am All For It Besides that Sean I bet you had An Amazing Time Doing your Ranking At Fan Expo Again With All your Amazing Fans 👏 From just this Video Even Watching From Home I Already Know you did An Amazing job and Had a Great time.
I am gonna drop my Top 10 for y’all! ( In no order) Barbie, Dune: Part Two, Oppenheimer, Beau is Afraid, Scream 6, Guardians 3, MI7, Asteroid City, The Little Mermaid, Wonka, Indiana Jones 5
My Top 10: 1. Across The Spider-Verse 2. Mission: Impossible 7 3. John Wick 4 4. Indiana Jones 5 5. Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3 6. Evil Dead Rise 7. Oppenheimer 8. Dune 2 9. Quantumania 10. Creed III
This seemed like it was really fun to do. You're a natural presenter and this was lovely to watch. Some of my biggest excitements are: - Ferrari by Michael Mann, a director I absolutely adore makes his first movie in 10 years making a dream project he's had for maybe 30, so naturally I'm excited. - Dead Reckoning, god this is gonna be so cool. - Animation legend Hayao Miyazaki's likely final film, How Do You Live? releases in Japan. - Surprised you didn't mention either of the possible new John Woo films we're getting, a remake of The Killer and a new action movie Silent Night. - ...The new Magic Mike..... - The Toho Godzilla movie was a great shout from that guy. - Cartoon Saloon, the studio behind Wolfwalkers from a few years ago, possibly releases The Inventor. - M. Night's new Knock At the Cabin looks spectacular and I really liked his past few films, so this is gonna be great. - A sequel to Chicken Run! Heck yeah, any stop-motion is worth celebrating, and on that note, Laika releases Wildwood. - Wes Anderson's Asteroid City is always a pleasure. There's a buncha smaller indies from the US and Globally, but these are the bigger ones that I'm hyped about.
@@jordansweet8054 He's been one of the best, if not the most interesting filmmakers in the world for the past 40 years, and his only bad movie is LA Takedown. Everyone loves Heat and yet his style of filmmaking still feels so fresh and unique. Even if I think Heat 2 is a bad idea (great book, not sure how good a movie), more Mann is an amazing gift. He & Fincher are 2 that I adore, so getting Ferrari and The Killer so close to each other is gonna be the time of my life.
@@jblitz1556 I love Heat. I think Blackhat and Miami Vice are bad but they have good action and they're watchable. I still need to see L.A. Takedown before the sequel. Fincher, and Mann getting movies in the same year? We must have been good.
@@jordansweet8054 Other than some hokey dialogue, I really don't get the hate for Blackhat. I don't love it, but I found it very very watchable. On the other hand, Miami Vice is glorious, what's up with that? Our reward for making it through COVID is all these glorious films, love to see it. Todd Field came out of hiatus and gave us TAR, David Cronenberg offered Crimes of the Future, Hayao Miyazaki will undoubtedly show us all his mastery yet again with How Do You Live?; even Victor Erice, a director who hasn't made a feature since 1992 (though his 3 so far have been stunning), has a fourth supposedly coming out this year. In many ways we're in the dark ages for movies but the highs are just so high.
@@jblitz1556 Miami Vice is awesome when it's an action movie. When it's trying to be a drama,it feel like a soap opera. But man, that final shoot out was dynamite.
I’m very excited for Evil Dead Rise, Guardians Vol. 3 and Creed III. I don’t go to the movies much anymore, but these are ones I’m going to see at the midnight release! Can’t wait to hear your take when those come out!
I love that you talked to the audience and you can see it was like a a line and they all gave a different it just shows everyone's got their own taste and it seems like 2023 is going to be a stacked year for movies even if you're most anticipated isn't great and is disappointing I think there's going to be something for everyone
Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 (Been hyped for this one for the last three years!) The rest in no particular order: John Wick Chapter 4 Oppenheimer Ant-Man and the Wasp Quatumania GOTG Vol. 3 Across the Spider Verse Shazam Fury of the Gods Barbie Asteroid City (new film by Wes Anderson) Dune Part 2 Super Mario Bros
There’s a film I’m really excited about coming this year that I haven’t heard anyone talk about yet. That movie is Killers of the Flower Moon. It’s a mystery/crime film by Scorsese. I’m already sold just based on that.
My top 5 anticipated movies of the year: 1) Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1: Tom Cruise is rocking it at the theatres, and with this being the first part of the final entry in this epic franchise, what fans aren't excited about it? 2) Spider-Man - Across The Spiderverse: Huge Spider-Man fan, a huge fan of the first Spiderverse, and a huge Spectacular Spider-Man fan which helps, so ofc I'm excited about the sequel. 3) Oppenheimer: It's Christopher Nolan's next film, who's my favorite director. Nough said. 4) True Love: A different pic for me, but this is Gareth Edwards' next film that's set to be a sci-fi romance. I think he's an underrated director and I'm intrigued by the premise and cast. 5) Blue Beetle: Love Cobra Kai, and always thought Miguel, aka Xolo, would be an excellent Blue Beetle. Now it's happening, so I gotta support the All Valley's 2018 Karate Champ!
Dead Reckoning is probably my most anticipated movie of 2023! Followed by Across The Spider-Verse And I'm sure Fast X will be an absolute blast in theaters too
This year I really don’t have much movies that I’m counting on and hyped for. But so far I liked the one movie I saw in 2023, M3GAN, so maybe it’s a good sign
My most anticipated movies of 2023: 16 (technically 17). TMNT Mutant Mayhem 15. Shazam! Fury of The Gods 14. Transformers: Rise of The Beasts 13. Scream VI 12. Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania 11. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (nervous af for it, but just excited to see Indy back 🙂 it’ll be my first Indy movie in a movie theater) 10. SPYxFAMILY The Movie (I’m putting this one as 10 as well as it’s not yet confirmed if it’ll release in the U.S. sometime in 2023) 10. Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3 9. Creed III 8. Suzume 7. Oppenheimer 6. The First Slam Dunk 5. Black Clover: Sword of The Wizard Kings 4. John Wick Chapter 4 3. Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Pt. 1 2. The Super Mario Bros Movie 1. Spider-Man Across The Spider Verse Honorable mentions (in no order): Dune Part 2, The Flash, Ghostbusters 2023 (not sure if it’ll release for sure this year), Five Nights at Freddy’s (same thing as Ghostbusters), Elemental (Pixar been hit or miss for me as of late) so many movies to look forward to this year as well as video games and shows 👍
My most anticipated is either Dune Part 2, Oppenheimer, Across the spider verse, Barbie, Mario, or Renfield. I work at a theater so it’s hard to just pick one
Kinda caught a glimpse of this being recorded live while waiting for a photo op, but I’ll be in Cleveland so I hope I’ll be able to catch your panel if you’re there! ❤️
I'm very excited about Super Mario Bros. since I'm just happy to see them have it right with everything Mario related, the animation looks beautiful, and Chris Pratt doesn't bother me. But it seems like this year's gonna be good for film!
This looks so cool! Fans getting to watch a ranking live! (hope the meet and greet with the audience telling their anticipated went well) my personal list 15. Elemental 14. Oppenheimer 13. The Shift 12. The Marvels 11. barbie (I can't believe this made my list!) 10. Aquaman 2 9. Ghostbusters Afterlife sequel 8. Dune Part 2 7.Guardians 3 6. Shazam 2 5. Mario 4.Indiana Jones 5 3. Antman and the wasp Quantumania 2. MI-7 1. Spider-man Across the Spider-verse Honorable Mentions: Creed 3, Wonka, John Wick 4
Was happy to hear at least one person bring up the Toho Godzilla film this year! Shin Godzilla was their last live action film and they've had some animated outing since then as well. It will be nice to see Godzilla back home again
15. John Wick: Chapter 4-I was a bit soured on this franchise after John Wick: Chapter 3, but I still want this one to be great 14. The Expendables 4-I have fun with this franchise, so I’m looking forward to a throwback action movie with a bunch of great action stars together 13. Untitled Ghostbusters: Afterlife Sequel-Because I really dug Afterlife, I’m excited to see a more traditional Ghostbusters story with the younger cast 12. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania-I really like the previous two Ant-Man films, so I’m looking forward to this one 11. The Flash-Drama aside, I’m interested to see how this movie turns out 10. Creed III-Behind the scenes stuff aside, I’m a massive fan of the Rocky franchise, so I’m excited regardless 9. Oppenheimer-Even though Christopher Nolan is getting a little too high concept for me, I’m still hoping for another solid Christopher Nolan film 8. Scream VI-With the Scream franchise being one of, if not the most consistent horror franchise, this one absolutely had to make the list 7. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse-I love Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and this looks like a sequel that’ll bring a bunch of fun Spider-Verse shenanigans to the table 6. MaXXXine-I loved X and thoroughly enjoyed Pearl, so I’ll hoping that this movie’ll cement this trilogy as one of the greatest horror trilogies of all time 5. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny-I’m nervous, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have a lot of hope for how this movie could turn out 4. Evil Dead Rise-The Evil Dead franchise is my favorite horror franchise, so I’m very excited for this one, especially after the trailer was released 3. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3-Judging by the trailer, this looks like it’ll be an emotionally satisfying send off for the guardians, which I’m very excited for 2. Dune: Part Two-I thought Dune: Part One was a really great sci-fi film, so I have all the faith in the world that Denis Villeneuve will conclude this story in a very satisfying way 1. Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning - Part 1-The Mission: Impossible franchise has become one of my absolute favorite action franchises and it looks like this movie will be another awesome film in this franchise that might even be better than Fallout
I guess you do have a point on Indiana Jones. I’m really nervous for it too, but I guess I could just get myself excited to see Ford back on the silver screen (and it’ll be my first time as an Indy fan 😉)
@@NinthShinigami Director James Mangold (director of Logan, Ford v Ferrari, Cop Land, 3:10 to Yuma, Walk the Line) is what gives me a lot of hope for the film. He’s a great director who has been working in Hollywood for 25+ years. He can do a lot of different elements of film very well. Hopefully he can close out the franchise in a satisfying way.
@@MichaelTomsyck Yee Mangold does have an impressive filmography, but well, you never know anyone can have a bad day. Rian Johnson gave us the calamity that was The Last Jedi, but gave us something great with Knives Out (all in imo ofc). Regardless, it does give me hope as well, I loved the cinematography of Ford v Ferrari, that movie would probably be very close to one of my favorite movies of all time. We’ll just hope for the best
Knowing you so well, I'm surprised the new Ghostbusters movie isn't on here considering I've never heard of some of these picks and there were some you said you're skeptical/concerned about.
@@SeanChandlerTalksAbout I don’t think it’s coming out. It’s scheduled for December they haven’t started filming yet and no cast or director announced for it.

I would be proud to be this dads kid, knowing that he’s passionate about what he loves and shares that passion for everyone to enjoy.
I'm also excited about Mario! And I fully agree with you
P.s. if you've heard rumors that there's gonna be singing, 😃
The most anticipated movies of 2023 for me are:
Transformers Rise of the Beast
Super Mario movie
Mission Impossible 7
The Flash
Can’t wait for Mission Impossible7 and Oppenheimer!!!
Hopefully with MBJ in the directors chair he can bring a satisfying conclusion to Adonis’ arc
However, there's a chance that we get kingsman 3 this year so if we do get a concrete date on that it will be bumped up to first
Across the Spiderverse is my number #1 most anticipated movie of 2023.
Nice we got the same one 🤝
@@NinthShinigami Nice👊🏽
Great video, hope the panel was fun!
Definitely Oppenheimer comes in number one! This year i have been watching C Nolan and fell in love with his movies. my most anticipated have to be (in no particular order)
1. Super Mario Movie - Chris Pratt Mario doesn’t bother me too much tbh, just happy to see these characters on the big screen
2. Beau is Afraid - Joaquin Phoenix and A24 together is wild and the trailer look very interesting and thematically rich
5. Across the Spider-verse - the first was absolutely amazing and I have full faith that the sequel will live up to the hype
It’s going to be a great year for movies, I have so many more I want to add haha
Edit: honorable mention to knock at the cabin, I’m oddly optimistic about this M Night movie probably because Dave Bautista is in it.

This seemed like it was really fun to do. You're a natural presenter and this was lovely to watch. Some of my biggest excitements are:
- Ferrari by Michael Mann, a director I absolutely adore makes his first movie in 10 years making a dream project he's had for maybe 30, so naturally I'm excited.
I can't wait for Ferrari and then Heat 2! Glad to have Mann back in the mix.
1. Evil Dead Rise

I love that you talked to the audience and you can see it was like a a line and they all gave a different it just shows everyone's got their own taste and it seems like 2023 is going to be a stacked year for movies even if you're most anticipated isn't great and is disappointing I think there's going to be something for everyone
Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 (Been hyped for this one for the last three years!)
The rest in no particular order:
John Wick Chapter 4
Oppenheimer
Ant-Man and the Wasp Quatumania
GOTG Vol. 3
Across the Spider Verse
Shazam Fury of the Gods
Barbie
Asteroid City (new film by Wes Anderson)
Dune Part 2
Super Mario Bros
There’s a film I’m really excited about coming this year that I haven’t heard anyone talk about yet. That movie is Killers of the Flower Moon. It’s a mystery/crime film by Scorsese. I’m already sold just based on that.
My top 5 anticipated movies of the year:
1) Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1: Tom Cruise is rocking it at the theatres, and with this being the first part of the final entry in this epic franchise, what fans aren't excited about it?
Followed by Across The Spider-Verse
And I'm sure Fast X will be an absolute blast in theaters too

10. Creed III-Behind the scenes stuff aside, I’m a massive fan of the Rocky franchise, so I’m excited regardless
9. Oppenheimer-Even though Christopher Nolan is getting a little too high concept for me, I’m still hoping for another solid Christopher Nolan film
8. Scream VI-With the Scream franchise being one of, if not the most consistent horror franchise, this one absolutely had to make the list
7. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse-I love Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and this looks like a sequel that’ll bring a bunch of fun Spider-Verse shenanigans to the table

3. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3-Judging by the trailer, this looks like it’ll be an emotionally satisfying send off for the guardians, which I’m very excited for
2. Dune: Part Two-I thought Dune: Part One was a really great sci-fi film, so I have all the faith in the world that Denis Villeneuve will conclude this story in a very satisfying way
