The content of that report is already common knowledge. The next level, should the report be ignored would be a public trial brought on by the underage girls who were involved. I am sure that something would be done to silence this, which would be further evidence of guilt. Any position of serious merit such as AG should not be distracted by such controversy in light of the key figure being involved in illegal activities. Even the accusation of such things should be grounds for disqualification. Others have been denied employment for lesser things, and if Gaetz wants to claim these reports as false, he can go to court over it. But there is far too much evidence and many credible witnesses in Congress who can support these claims. I continue to hope that as a society, we still have some understanding of social conduct and ethics.

The content of that report is already common knowledge. The next level, should the report be ignored would be a public trial brought on by the underage girls who were involved. I am sure that something would be done to silence this, which would be further evidence of guilt. Any position of serious merit such as AG should not be distracted by such controversy in light of the key figure being involved in illegal activities. Even the accusation of such things should be grounds for disqualification. Others have been denied employment for lesser things, and if Gaetz wants to claim these reports as false, he can go to court over it. But there is far too much evidence and many credible witnesses in Congress who can support these claims. I continue to hope that as a society, we still have some understanding of social conduct and ethics.
