@@EclecticIdeas You would not believe how hard it was to find this information. I tried looking for manuals, calling tech support, and I was willing to hire a repair man but Kenmore does not service my area. The call center is useless. As a disabled man, it hurt to get down on my knees to replace the batter but at least that infernal beeping has stopped.

I Googled that to find this This error occurs when the freezer fan motor does not operate normally. Unplug the power cord of the product or trip the exclusive circuit breaker to reset the power, and then reuse it after about 5 minutes. ➔ Or, it can also occur when the fan motor is locked due to ice (frost)

We went through few troubleshooting steps ourselves but ours came to be the battery.
It depends on your freezer type but steps we took:
Plugging and unplugging the power cable of your freezer.
Clean the seal so no cold air is leaking.
Freezer maybe full blocking and making the freezer warmer.
Freezer may need to be defrosted.
Changing the thermostat? (have not done that yet)
could be the wiring harness at the bottom hinge that goes to the display panel on the front, little room for it to move every time door opens prone to wire breaking
what is the battery for?
It’s for your front panel to indicate various errors or status. For us it was beeping for battery replacement.
Mine is still beeping after replacing it with two different charged batteries!
I prayed and prayed. I did not want to pay someone to repair and got an impression to look below. There were two cables, one red and one black. The red one was disconnected. Beeping has stopped. PTL!!!
So glad it worked out. One time we had to get sometime to change the circuit board and it was not cheap. PTL!!! 🙏
