@xamber7879 It’s possible. I’m right handed but my left is far more sensitive to ASMR. But I’ve also seen a lot of people in these comments where their sensitive side matches their dominant hand side. It probably has something to do with how each individual’s brain is wired across different regions and how certain stimuli travel around the brain. Would be cool to have some medical studies done on ASMR to figure out how and why it works.
funny enough my right ear is the only one that tingles, but i also only get tingles on the right side of my body! they stop at my spine and never go to the left side. i’ve never had another person relate to this!
I have the same thing and always wondered about a scientific explanation! Very very rarely I do get tingles from triggers in the left ear, but even then I feel the tingles only on the right side of my body
I have exactly the same. Specially with voices. If there goes a voice from left to right, I got shivers from my back through my legs on my right side when it's done 'good'. So when the voice/sound comes suddenly in my right ear. I never have this on the left side.
Personally what helps me even more is not actually seeing the microphone. It’s odd but it does actually lead to more tingles for me. So this video nailed it for me. I really enjoyed this video, I’d love to see more in the future! It was so unique
It's not odd at all. If you are unprepared for a sound VERY close to your ear, you are more alert and tingles are part of your "alertness". For that reason sounds are more intense if you don't "see them coming". What I found interesting is that the tingles on my right ear were more tingly and I am left-handed. I assume that I am more alert to these because I'm less likely to successfully defend myself in a case of sudden threats to my right and for that get more tingles.
Have you ever noticed getting more tingles when you hear a trigger in a specific ear? Let’s test this. I‘m making sounds in your right and left ear, and you tell me which ear is tinglier. 😲😴
I get tingles are both sides and my whole head tingles, but I feel like each side is more susceptible to different sounds. Like the blister pack gave me more tingles on my right side, and my left side gave me more tingles with nail polish bottles. I don’t always get tingles (my brain has specific tastes), but these sounds were on point.
I’ve noticed it’s my right ear that gets more tingles! Also when I tell ya I legit gasped when I saw the famous perfume bottle. Will forever be my favorite trigger
@@mara7805 I think it is due to hearing problems or listening to very loud music, but I don't believe in that possibility because we wouldn't hear well in both ears.
my left is CONSIDERABLY more tingly!! my right is only tingly if something *really* gets me or I've deeply focused on the video. my left is always tingly!! great video! (I still super enjoy ASMR in my right ear tbh! just shows how much I adore ASMR!)
I don't normally feel tingles often, but I do notice that it tends to be my right side that get tingles the most. Sometimes I even think I hear better in my right? The sounds feel more intense on that side. I am also right handed lol so if that counts for anything
I always feel so guilty for not wearing headphones. I keep lying to myself that I'll put them on next time, but I never do. I guess I just love making my neighbors tingle with me. Oh well.
HOW can u listen without headphones?! I litreally can't not wear headphones 24/7, they make it soooo much better, i couldn't imagine life without headphones for asmr/videos/music ect ect,
@@SarxShell Oh I do wear headphones for videos and music etc. I just don't like wearing them for ASMR... I guess because I don't find wearing headphones very relaxing? 😁
I only get tingles In my right ear but under strict situations, I only get it to whispering and it has to be breathy whispering. Why? I don't know. It also has to be ear to ear or I don't get tingles. I only discovered that I could actually get tingles a few months ago
Great video and perfect choice of triggers. I almost fainted when you were in my right ear 😆 however, I felt the perfume bottle more in my left ear. So I guess it depends on a trigger for me 👀
Definitely my left is more tingly (and yes, I’m left handed lol) but I like when videos are even or symmetrical and make the same sounds on both sides because I can get just as relaxed and soothed by sounds on the right. Not seeing the mic helps and on ear cleaning videos seeing the model ear takes me completely out, making it a POV type video is the tingliest 😊 Thanks for all your hard work!!!
Whenever you wear that shirt, I always picture you at a German techno rave, even though it’s a little incompatible as picture with the image of an ASMRtist 😂
I barely comment, but i had the worst insomnia last night and i needed to sleep to wake up early for college. Nothing was helping, i tried 3 vids of asmr and nothing. Your video tho, it put me to sleep in less than 10 mins. Thank you. :))
For me, it depends on how I lay down. If I'm on my right side, my left ears more tingling. Then when I'm on my left side, my right ears more tingling. I noticed when I lay on my back both are. 🤣
Bro try watching this Video while your lying down, then turn to the right side, and try not to wear your right Air pods or ear phones and them you can feel the Tingles 100%legit❤
Very interesting our right and left ears hear at different frequencies my left ear is More sensitive or prone to tingles ❤❤❤ thank you have a blessed night
I feel like it's slightly stronger on the right side for me. I've noticed the same thing with music as well. The left is still decent, just not quite as strong, and in the middle is just very nice all around. Thank you very much for this video

I know the answer already, it’s my right ear 😊

For me it’s the left. I wonder what exactly causes this from a neurological perspective.

next we need an all left ear asmr video and an all right ear asmr video hehe
Wonder if the people who gets the tingles on their left ear are left handed 🤔
I get more tingles in my right ear and I’m left handed
Not necessarily. I am right handed, but get tingles in my left ear
Honestly, I think my right ear is less sensitive, because I used to listen to loud music in my right ear 😂
Literally never had any asmr in my left ear. No clue why
I only get tingle in my left ear so always left!
I only get them in my right lol

Get way more tingles from my right ear and almost none from my left ear.
Awesome vid, my right ear for sure
definitely my left ear
yes mostly in the left ear, but it depends on the sound :D

Probably my left because im deaf in the right 😂
Same lmao

Depends on what side im laying on! I typically get more tingles in the ear that im not laying on, surprisingly enough :)
I don’t think I’ve ever gotten physical tingles from my left ear, but I feel them in my lower right back for my right ear
me too!
Omg I thought I was the only one like this
i had no idea anyone else experienced this omg
This is me exactly!

I already know I get more in my left ear but I had to click anyway! No one talks about this much, I feel like
I got way more tingles in my left ear, and I am right-handed.
I only get tingles in my left ear, right ear is immune!!
Blank space : )
.
i wear iems when i listen to asmr and this video… this got me tingly on my lower back and my scalp ughhh
Different triggers give me different tingles one different sides. Just depends what trigger it is for what side is more tingly. 😂
Very interesting theory. People with any degree hearing loss on one side could benefit more from one side or the other.

Its my right ear but it is funny as I have due to a cholesteatoma and surgery induced hearing loss on my right side yet it is more sensitive
Less to do with what ear. More to do with transition/timing for myself.
My right ear is prone to tingles all the way down to my right side
My left ear does none of this, the triggers are just nice to listen to
I get tingles mostly on my right, but very rarely I will get tingles on both or left side
I always wore my headphones, now my earphones wrong so the sides are always inversed smh
i get it pretty equal in both but if the asmrtist have it on 1 side for too long i loose my tingles there and get crazy on the other side
Left ear! And it's not on the most left. the sweet spot is on left upper to left behind. Lol hope this makes sense
