A little background: Bassist KOGA was tired of playing w/ other bands and when her schoolmate friend Hana (drummer) said she should start her own band, Koga said "Only if you play drums!" That was the start of GACHARIC SPIN! EITA was the original guitarist, but left after a few months, then TOMO-ZO came in! Takae "ARMMY" Ashitomi was the original vocalist, but left in 2012 due to health issues! Emnter Oreo Reona on keyboards and co-lead vocals w/ Hana! And Oreo and TOMO-Zo used to be in a band that did japanese TV theme show music...
When I was in middle school with parents who constantly abused me emotionally to the point I could not fall asleep at night, I would play this song on my shitty little cassette player in bed OVER AND OVER until I was able to finally drift off to sleep. To this day whenever I hear this song it still calms my nerves and relaxes me. Thank you Toto for getting me through some very tough times!
Best band in the world. Highly recommend a trip to Japan to see them - completely changed my life for the better ;) Can't wait till they let us back in, I'll drop anything to go see them again.
Truly one of the most beautiful performances and pieces of music ever captured. I've watched this clip dozens of times and I still tear up at those sublime harmonies every time. I've seen Gacharic Spin live in person many times, and also own all of their live DVD's, there's really no-one else quite like them and their live performances are absolutely legendary. If the opportunity to attend one of their lives ever comes up, definitely take it!
Alway find it interesting to have these songs referred to as acoustic when Oreo still playing an electric keyboard. Though Hana gets to move from her already acoustic drum set to a much simpler Cajun drum and cymbal. There another acoustic song on delicious where the dancers are tossing flower petals on the girls sing go rather heavy on oreo which causes oreo to screw up her rather lengthy speech. As a result hana very quietly bends down and removed a sandal which she uses to whack oreo in the head for messing up her part… I love gacharic spin and more specifically Hana…

Quite an enigma for me…the last song of theirs featured here was fun fun fun. This song struck me as a lot more serious with perhaps a message for the people out there…that was the feeling I got from the song and the bands demeanour. A very pleasant song to listen to..it sounded better in their own language..maybe if it were sung in English (or any other language) it would lose some impact. Sabina..lovely reaction to what was a lovely song.
