    man thank you so much, i'm so happy right now! i thought i had to buy the animate2 plugin and in my country that's quite expensive, but now everything works out with just daz to blender, YES!!!!

    well THANK YOU, I just spent a solid 2 hours trying to install that Blender plugin, everyone seems to struggle with it, because indeed the fact that you need to install it THROUGH Daz is not very clear nor intuitive. you made that perfectly simple and I wish I had found your tutorial first - liked and subscribed!

    Thank you very much for your sharing. Could you make a video tell us how to correctly use the bridge to import pose?

    Wish every tutorial on youtube would look like yours. But one thing though, can I edit the animation in blender and again bring it back to daz with this bridge ?

      Not quite sure on that - I'm sure there is something on UA-cam.

    Is there a way to do this but in reverse? Say i have a rig in blender and I want to apply a premade animation or pose to it in daz, can I actually do that without messing up the rig itself when I open it in blender? Or is this even possible to begin with

  • @HarryClipzFilmz

    It won't allow me to import environments and it's greyed up i can only tick skeletal mesh, static mesh and animation, but environment and pose are greyed out.

    Daz you should update your DAZ to blender bridge so it even exceeds DIFFEOMORPHIC....IE CAN import geo-shells(hoo-has)... Because even if you bring an animation and are not using diffeomorphic ..you're gonna be limited somehow...but if you impart your wisdom and your money to creating the ultimate Daz to blender bridge then there will be 2 awesome bridges in the market.... Come on we already know this is the top software that makes 3-D porn... There are a myriad of other geoshell applications which are not sexual not just those

    I saw the Daz to Blender minutes after I downloaded your video on Diffeomorphic out of frustration doing animations in DAZ which is a pain, mostly due to its pathetic animation tools even with Animate 2. The main problem being the PIN function that does not pin firmly. You mentioned the sliding effect, it happens here as well. My concern is that the DTBlender bridge exports the Daz rigging, while Blender rigging has very firm anchorage with the feet on the ground. I could not find a single animation done IN Blender using a Daz character. The Daz armature works but it has no anchorage (pinning) either. The character can be translated through the floor. (I have yet to learn Blender as well). The question is, can one rather use a Blender armature on the Daz character. Perhaps a short tutorial?? See Character Animation Blender 3.2 Beginner Tutorial. In conclusion I must commend you on your eloquent speech and your gifted pedagogue style.

      Some good questions - I would need to experiment more to discover some answers. As far as a tutorial within blender using a blender rig for a DAZ character, that will be something that I would have to study and could take some time - most likely down the road a bit my friend.

      @@LucidManStudio Many thanks for your reply. In the meantime, I consider try using the Mixamo or Cascadeur route to get a properly rigged Daz character into Blender...and then I will have to become more familiar with Blender and that is where your tutorials are exemplary.

      Not that I can see. You may have to downgrade blender to 3.3 for the plugin to work until the bridge gets updated.

    Is there a way to replace the Daz model with another rigged character in a separate Blend file?

    • @LucidManStudio
      @LucidManStudio  Рік тому

      Generally, you would use the same rig that the DAZ model has. If that isn't an option, then replacing the rig with another rig would need to be done by hand. Mixamo is great for this since all their rigs use the same 'bone' labels.

      Good question. I would think you would want to import each separately but I could be wrong.

      I haven't tried it - so you might want to give it a shot. If not, then I believe the shape keys in Blender should help you animate in Blender.
