One of my friends won a contest where he got to play guitar on-stage with 30 Seconds to Mars for a track. When I was 15 or 16 I had a meet and greet with 30 seconds to Mars and he felt the need to look at my breasts and comment "would you like me to sign there?" As if it was a joke. Even if you come up with the whole "maybe you looked older, maybe you were wearing something provocative", it's still incredibly inappropriate for a man in his mid/late 30s (at the time) to be openly making this kind of comment towards a fan who is obviously much younger than himself.
It's a shame he's like this because he does have talent, he just decided to boost his career on weirdness and his own ego rather than his art.
Edited to add: I feel like I shouldn't even have to say this, but no wasn't wearing anything provocative. I was wearing a 30 seconds to mars tshirt and probably some jeans. I was a chubby teen that developed curves very early on but it's not like I could just remove my boobs and butt to avoid much older men from staring? lol some people just can't blame the predator at all

Pure primary psychopaths dont care about others opinion f.x which narcs obsess over, causing them to manipulate even when little objectively to gain. They smear others just to seem a little better then someone else. Etc. A pure primary paychopat is just emotionally very cold. But often don't care who's more impressive or seem better than then.
But you use these words as if narcissistic people are almost better than psychopaths. I disagree. (I know, people CAN be both) I mean both are low on empathy and compassion, and can therefore do mean things easier than non-personality disordered folks.. but narcs often way more toxic, b/c they need others to seem bad, and themselves good

James Gunn famously despises Jared Leto for being an asshole and having a sexual attraction for minors. When he made suicide squad it was known that he wouldn't use the Joker character because of that reason, and this is what makes me believe that behind the scenes Hollywood people know about his deviant behaviors. He's just pretty damn good at keeping a low profile, probably because of his good looks, and all we know are rumors of him being creepy, but there surely is a lot more behind that.
Also, I need to know what the fuck he's doing to look like that at age 50.

I have a story…went to see 30 Seconds to Mars over a decade ago at the Rams Head Live, a small-ish venue in Baltimore, MD. The band had just released “This is War” and weren’t playing huge arenas yet. In the mosh pit during the show, somebody hit the ground hard. They cracked their head clear open, were gushing blood, and couldn’t stand or walk on their own. Everyone in the mosh pit started frantically waving at the stage, trying to get the band to stop so that we could clear a path and get this person out safely (a usual mosh pit response if you don’t already know). Again, we were in a small-ish venue and were maybe 20ft away from the stage. Jared Leto and the band saw us, saw what was happening, and unlike every other band who’s toured extensively and knows how to handle an emergency in the mosh pit, they…just kept playing. I didn’t know all the rumors and details about Jared at the time, but knew in that moment as we made eye contact with him and everyone else on the stage and they still did NOTHING to help us safely evacuate an injured person - well, I knew he and his cult are bad people. That’s all.

I'm SO GLAD that people are finally starting to call him out more/pay attention to the allegations against him, cause I do believe at least some of them, if not most, are true. Why? Cause I used to be a super fan of his/the band around 2006-2013 (thank god I never took a tattoo) and have met Jared in meet&greets/after the shows many times. At first I didn't see anything wrong in his behaviour. I was so starstruck, young and naive, that I didnt really question his weird vibes/shitty behavior. Or maybe I did a little bit, but I didn't want to admit to myself someone I idolized so badly, wasn't really who I thought they were at all. At some point I started to think more critically of jared. I realized he didn't really care about his fans and was putting on a fake smile. You paid for like 500€ for those meet&greets and couldn't even hug them, it was forbidden! He was very flirty with some young fans too. At some point the whole band just became a one big cash grab/a cult of Jared for his mindless superfans, so I stopped being one myself. Since then I've felt I can't stand Jared cause I finally saw what he was truly like; egoistic, greedy, predatory, narcissistic and out of touch with reality. I also didn't like their new music. Back in 2008 I also talked to a fan who's friend (a groupie) had allegedly hooked up with Jared, and the girl was 15 at the time. Her story sounded believable to me. Creepy. It's sad cause I really liked/still do like their earlier music, but it's hard for me to enjoy it these days.

I'd never even heard of 30STM and didn't know wth Jared Leto was. I became a fan of the bands older music and fell through the Leto looking glass. Never saw 30STM live but watched many vids. That's when he became insufferable to me. It only took about a year for me to dip. One vid showed him pick a girl out of the audience to bring on stage and while she was up there she asked if her boyfriend could come up and Jared seemed a little taken aback and said "He must have a big dick."

You can tell who a person is by how they treat others who aren't on their "level", or whom they don't want anything from. Leto's behavior is a prime example of this. The man at the concert wasn't a young, attractive woman so he wanted nothing from him--and he was "beneath" the star on the stage. Therefore, he was an easy target to humiliate in public. I had no opinion on Leto until I saw this clip. Now I have a very strong opinion. But what really chaps my nips is the depths people will sink to when treated poorly by someone in power--like this man, they just do what they're told and accept it because the person dishing out the abuse is rich, famous, or has power. I would have walked out flipping him a middle finger and never spent another dime on anything he did. They act this way because, like spoiled children, they are given whatever they desire by....Us. But I must say that his Joker wouldn't have been that bad if it was not cut to 5 minutes or less onscreen and his role in The House of Gucci, I took it as comic relief, while not sure how ethical it was given he interpreted a real person who still has a living family... which makes me feel bad by enjoying this comic relief.
Also if the director was ok with his Mario accent and didn't correct him I rather will blame the director who decided it was ok, and maube it could have been ok if it was not a real story drama about murder but a comedy and him being the extra charismatic fool with Mario's voice.
About his personal life, I don't know him, from what I have seen I just can tell that him being extra touchy with every female should be put to end with malice or not it's still wrong, why no woman including well-established actresses haven't told him to maintain 3-foot distance from them is beyond my comprehension.
But that comes from someone who doesn't enjoy hugs even from familiars and has a considerable personal space that I like to keep intact. However, after their album in 2018 came out and one of the members left (Tomo was his name, I think) things started to feel weird so I fell out of love with the band. I then found out Jared Leto was a huge creep and it kind of ruined it all for me. Same here. I became a fan of 30STM when i was like 13-14 and they were my absolute favorite band. It was 2014 back then and i became a fan cause i saw that Jared had won an Oscar and my father showed me how he was not only an actor but a musician as well. I can't even deny the fact that I thought of Jared as the greatest person in the world and that I was head over heels for him too. My sister who is younger also became a fan. But not even a whole year later, like 2015-2016 i stopped being a fan cause I saw Jared was focusing on Hollywood way more than in music and his projects were just shitty to me lol. For no particular reason i stopped liking him and i just stopped being his fan. All those stories about him being weird af on the Suicide Squad set just made him appear annoying as hell to me. When i found out through my sister that the band had a new album and that Tomo wasn't a part of it anymore it was just weird to me how no one really knew the reason behind it. I think now it makes sense and you can even tell why he left. To know for these past two years that he has a thing for younger girls has been something that I always tried to ignore but it's obviously not the case anymore, it's just creepy and disgusting. When i was a fan and came to know he had dated Scarlet Johansson at some point and looked for her age at that time, it always made noise to me how she was so young back then and he was already in his 30s, but i was 14 back then and i never really gave a deeper thought or look into it. I'm literally glad i stopped liking him/them and even my sister who keeps being a fan to some extent can't deny the fact that there are so many things wrong with him. Looking at all the symbolism he uses, his "charming" persona, the way he talks, the way the fandom has always been so invested....it all seems obvious af now.

During a break he turned around to take a look at people and he took my hand and kept holding it, which I already found very strange. Then he looked me in the eyes and opened his mouth to say something. I think he was trying to flirt. But nothing came out of his mouth. Instead he closed it again and opened it again and then again - like a fish - and looked weirdly nervous. Like his brain went blank. A few months later me and that friend went to their concert and after the show we witnessed him freak out on a fan and scream for security - in a crowded bar and club area with locals who were just enjoying summer. It was completely over the top. I didn't know him or anything about his life back then, nothing of his cult yet but that behaviour was plain narcissism.
