Hi. This video was super helpful and you did such a great job I am going to watch more of your videos for tips to have a better outcome on my DIYs. Thank you! I have a question about the desk in this video...I have one similar and I'm wondering how/if it's possible to paint the crevices a different color than than outter part? Weird thought.....can a caulk or glue from a glue gun be used to fill in the crevices to avoid them filling with paint until I am ready to paint them? I can't find anything about that online. Had you heard of such a thing? A filler that can be easily removed?
have “contractor’s oak” kitchen cabinets in a REAL farm kitchen (steel toe boots, dogs, messy grand babies, an orphaned lamb; that kinda REAL) this paint is on the list BUT was thinking after paint using a gel stain/liming/ceruse to bring out grain. (wire brush & krud buster to prep) Do you think it would work? or self leveling would eliminate wood grain? base color would be a med gray. NO WHITE is ever in a REAL WORKING FARMHOUSE-js, lol. Thank you for your time
First off, I love the picture you painted of your REAL farm kitchen! Based on your description I do think it will work. The wire brush part will require some umph but it should do the job and give you the look you’re after. If there’s a smallish area you can test it on, I suggest you do that first as a test. If you love the result, then do the entire job and please share pics! Thank you for watching my videos!
Awesome! Looks great! Love it! What color is that?
Thank you! I thought I mention the color in the video. I can’t remember the color now. Sorry!

You might try painters tape to mask the area you want to paint a different color.
