I love that you still do these beginner videos. I’ve watched you for several years and you’ve inspired me to do many makeovers. Thank you for all your content.
Thank you for this video- I decided to adapt a toy cabinet/chest into a shoe organizer/bench and this paint is perfect for the job!! The chest was made for my (now adult) daughter by her master carpenter grandpa who passed away many years ago. I’m thrilled to be able to repurpose the piece and hand it down to my daughter when she has the room for it.
Thank you for a beginner video! I have a dresser for our guest bedroom that I want to paint. This would be perfect! I think I can actually do it now. I love the sofa table and the hardware. So elegant..
I find that there are so many incredible products available now. Many of the water soluble/borne formulas are forgiving. I have done many projects with some products that were not high on the list of ‘east to apply’. I have had no issues and am often asked if I sprayed the finish. Good luck with all your projects.
I’m a neutral kind of person too and I think you’ve helped me make my choice on the color that I’m going to paint my end tables I love the color that you used . It came out beautifully !
So glad I found you today ! I'm going to do 3 piece's a coffee table and 2 end tables .I can't afford to buy new, so this video was perfect! Thank you , I'm a subscriber now ❤
A HUGE THANK YOU! I saw that somebody said they were glad you still did beginner videos. Me, too! I typed in painting wood and you popped up. What a lucky break for me! This beyondpaint looks like a miracle remedy. I thought I would have to sand and all that, but nope! YAY! I just retired last Dec., I'll be losing some dead weight, (he moves out Oct.1st and I couldn't be happier), he's taking his deadbeat daughter with him, too. The dark clouds are parting over my house and I'm starting to feel good again and I want to brighten this place up!!!!!!! I'm not starting until they leave but I'll have everything ready to go when he does. I was going to buy a new vanity for my bathroom sink but I'm just going to snazz mine up a bit. Besides, the whole recycle, reuse, refinish and refurbish is pretty trendy these days. My family has always done this...I guess we've been trendy all along. I still have some of the pieces my Mom painted and, "antiqued". She was big into finding pictures she liked in magazines and stuff, too. Then my Dad would make her a nice piece of sanded and stained wood, she would burn the edges of the pictures and Mod Podge them onto the wood. So crafty! Lol! That's what the young housewives did back then, waaaay back then. She was fun when we were young. Anyway, I'm going to look at some more of your videos but for now I'm going to look at the beyondpaint colors. Ttfn!
What a beautiful transformation. I’ve been up cycling furniture this way for about 8 years now so I’m reasonably competent, however I still enjoy watching how others up cycle because I find I can learn from them.
Hi. Thank you for this beginner video. I really want to start upcycling furniture for myself but didn't want to get in over my head. After this video I am going to look for a bookcase to refinish. Have a great weekend/week.
Thank you so much for the video. I have a little wooden bookshelf (1 metre tall) from the garage that I want to place in my room and your video was very helpful for painting :D It's really great giving new life to something that was unloved and unused.
Thank you. ❤ I have a couple projects to do, and this does inspire me to finally do them. Seeing as you made it look so easy. I have never heard of Beyond Paint.
That looks amazing. I have an old drop leaf table that belonged to my in-laws that needs to be refinished, and you have inspired me to get started on it.
😅 I just typed in how to paint furniture for beginners and I’m very relieved you were the first one to pop up, so glad I have a chip brush as well. I’m making sure I have all the boxes checked
WoW! The table looks fantastic! Have you tried this paint on a bathroom vanity? Any special pointers for painting a bathroom vanity? Many thanks for your wonderful videos! Happy Thanksgiving and hope the furniture jumping gets better when the table rejoins your room! Best from Maryland!
Lovely! I am looking forward to Thanx to you, I will try BP However, I am not crazy about not being able to use my table for 30 days, while it cures. Do I really need to use BP brand of sealant or can I use a polyurethane to protect my tabletop?
This paint does not require a topcoat. They do make one if you want extra protection but it isn't necessary. Every furniture paint has a manufacturer recommendation for cure time. 30 days is pretty standard. Its very important to let it fully cure and harden to reduce the chance of chipping.
Wow! I been wanting to paint my guest room bedroom set..I'm going to check this paint. Wondering if there's any difference compared to chalk paint🤔. Thank you for this wonderful video
Do i need to apply primer first then paint ?? And which paint did u use is it wall paint? Plz reply bc ur furniture after look ssooo amazing i wanna do the same for mine:)) 🤍
Will I be able to use a gloss sealer once this beyond paint is dry? I too purchased a vintage dining room table but will utilize the table in my kitchen.
I used about a pint of paint, so my total cost with the hardware and the table, too, was around $80-90. And it took me about 1 hour of painting but you have to factor in dry time as well.
Hi Christina! I've watch MANY of your video using Beyond Paint. I'm having issues trying to decide between using Off White or Linen on my kitchen cabinets. Do you have a video using the off white color? If so, can you give me the date of your video post so I can view it? Thanks!
I want to paint a wood dining table with 8 chairs. The stain has turned an orangy color over the years and I can’t stand it. Do you recommend this painting technique for a dining set? TIA
Wonder if they have this stuff (products in this video) available in Europe, e.g. in France?? Or something like it? I will be fixing up a home there and buying some pieces of flea market furniture that I’d like to spruce up and paint.
How long do you let the final paint coat to dry before applying the top coat. Cure time is very important as if you apply to soon you can trap moisture.
I have a weird question, we have a built-in cabinet in our hall where the paint has started chipping off and has peeled about half off on the countertop portion. Can I really get away with not sanding or stripping the rest of the paint off?
If you are going to paint wood white, or orher solid paint color and cover the beauty of the wood grain, just paint a cardboard box and use it as a table instead. It would be just as tasteless and cheaper.
This video is meant to be a beginner’s tutorial , a simple solution for some of us who want to get into furniture flipping without all the fuss. Your comment was as tasteless and cheap as your cardboard head!
I’ve used this plant many times and I’ve never sanded and the paint is still holding up beautifully. Yes if you have dents and large scratches I would recommend sanding but she is right you don’t have to sand.
I had a super bad experience with Beyond All in One paint -- What a gloppy mess! I now make my own All in One paint so that I have control over the consistancy.
@@backyardbbq4280 I will if you make this promise: before you paint wood, lay down a coat of shellac. That way whoever strips the paint in future won’t have to dig paint out of the grain.

This is my favorite paint, by far. Its so easy to use, so smooth, wethere brushed or sprayed. Its incredibly tough. I love the colors.
So happy to hear that! We’d love to see any projects you’ve done 😁
Making it super easy for me to update all my furniture ❤️❤️ thank you!!

Do you have a video to show before you paint…

All of that information is in the description box and the entire process is in the video. Thanks for watching.
Wow, I am going to try this.
Thanks for the inspiration!
I enjoyed your video. Where can I find Demond Paint?
You can find Beyond Paint on their website or on Amazon. I have it linked in my storefront!
Thank you for one more good video.
Thank you for these easy instructions! Would you recommend Beyond Paint for kitchen cabinets? And bathroom cabinets?
Yes I do!
How durable is this paint? I have a computer desk that needs painting. TIa! 😊
Beautiful!
Beautiful work
Thank you so much 😀
That’s beautiful! And now I know what is a sofa table 😂
This was very helpful. Thank you.
Hello I love your videos! If I wanted to sand my wood bureau before painting, can I? The bureau is in need of a sanding for some uneven surfaces.
Thanx for sharing a beautiful job done . We’re can I buy this paint from please
Can Beyond Paint be used in a sprayer?
Will I be able to use a gloss sealer once this beyond paint is dry? I too purchased a vintage dining room table but will utilize the table in my kitchen.
Yes you can! Beyond Paint sells a sealer for added protection.
When cleaning your table, do you need to avoid certain cleaning products?
Looks fantastic! If you had sold it, would you have used Beyond Paint also or do you just use it when repurposing for your own home? Thank you.
I have sold Beyond Paint pieces several times! Its a great paint!
I would like to know your total cost & time into this project. Beautiful table! Thank you for the video

I haven't used off- white so I don't have a good example to show you- sorry!
Very amazing video
you could always use cover stain and then paint
How do you prevent brush strokes (from a brush) and texture marks from a roller?
how would this paint hold up on kitchen chairs
Will this paint work in a sprayer as well?
This turned out so pretty! The color is beautiful. I've used adjustable hardware and it is such a project saver!

Unfortunately, we are only sold in the U.S & Canada☹️
How long do you let the final paint coat to dry before applying the top coat. Cure time is very important as if you apply to soon you can trap moisture.
I always follow the manufacturers instructions for cure time. For this paint they recommend 30 days for it to completely cure.
Brilliant ❤
Where can we buy all in one paint
Love where you have placed it!❤
I have a weird question, we have a built-in cabinet in our hall where the paint has started chipping off and has peeled about half off on the countertop portion. Can I really get away with not sanding or stripping the rest of the paint off?
I might recommend some corrective sanding in this case.
קריסטינה ,איזה סוג צבע את משתמשת? צבע גיר? צבע שמן?
Nice 😊
Most of our furniture is solid wood and I can’t bring myself to painting any of them!
Nice!
Thanks!
What type of roller are you using ? I know it’s a beyond paint brand but what type is it?
3/8" nap microfiber roller
What about to clean cupboards?
Simple Green or Zep Degreaser would work great !
Buetiful
I'm afraid to get started because I don't know how to clean the paint brushes.
Here is a video for that: ua-cam.com/video/ck_DsxirJ_0/v-deo.html

Love your work, but the price of these paints is totally out of control!
I bought paint from Joanna Gaines brand at the restore and it was $35. That’s as much as it cost at Lowe’s.
That s a lie . You need sander .
I’ve used this plant many times and I’ve never sanded and the paint is still holding up beautifully. Yes if you have dents and large scratches I would recommend sanding but she is right you don’t have to sand.
Our paint has a self leveling agent so there’s no need for sanding the surface before painting 😁
