It's Miku's voice pitched down to sound scary (?)
if you take off your left side of your earphones you can just hear that till the chorus
uhhhh... actually harmonization is two different melody lines todgether. The two voices that are "creepy" are singing the same notes, just octaves apart. Source: actual musician here

You must have obviously never been in that situation. When you have depression (or a similar mental illness) you dont care that it's"scientifically proven" to be a depressant. Because, for a short while, it does make you feel better. Idk I'm bad at explaining

I guess I get what you guys mean. I myself have been diagnosed with mild depression and when I forget to take Zoloft or when it wears off I become more reckless than usual, and risks I don't usually take because I might get hurt don't seem to matter because I honestly feel like I deserve pain. I'm not old enough to legally drink yet, so I suppose I can't say I've been in this exact situation, but I was just thinking how when I'm feeling okay I sometimes wonder at the strangeness of why so many of us try to make our situation worse. I appreciate your comments though, I'm happy that you're willing to go out of your way to explain this kind of thing to people who might understand quite as well. I'm also sorry if I was a bit unclear or insensitive in my message; I promise I meant no disrespect to people in this kind of situation. I hope you guys have a wonderful day

This song was always a bit difficult to listen to for me, having an alcoholic father
Now i'm 24, and my dad just died yesterday morning, February 22, due to liver failure brought on by alcoholism. He was 64, and at 5'10" he weighed only 96 pounds. Looked like a skeleton with yellow skin stretched tight over his bony frame, eyes sunken and just as yellow. I don't drink because i've been around/seen a lot of alcoholics in my life, how messy and destructive that kind of life really is, but his death further solidified my hatred of alcohol. This song hurts more now
I listen to this song to cope with my alcoholic mother. 23 myself. She is awful and keeps coming back into my life. But I hope you can agree with me that the sort of grit to the song is not only for those dealing with alcoholism but those who have also just been affected by it in general.
I'm so sorry for your loss and I hope your life is full of positivity and successes.
