That's because this show isn't being written by extremely dumb woke garbage writers. CW is the worst TV network of all time, it's a miracle that this show manages to be actually good and much better than every DC CW show out there.
I am happy Lana's actress got way more to do finally... she was being sidelined hard for the majority of the season

This is so much better than Man of Steel. It made no sense why his mother didn't go after son when it was shown they had plenty of ways to build more spaceships. The only reason I could imagine her not doing anything is postpartum depression. Having the first natural birth on Krypton in generations must have put a lot of stress on her.
I wish Lara could have met Martha it was great Clark got to talk to his bio mom for a while.

Agreed. It seems like he revived the worst of Krypton. The sad thing is that he believed his mother would be proud of him for using her technology this way.

@@crismera5075 Edge created the machine, Sup's mom created the core with the consciousnesses in it. We don't know how it would have worked if she did what she intended. I'm guessing it would have been something like the crystal that Jor El's consciousness or whatever is in. She specifically said that it wasn't meant to usurp someone else's consciousness.
I think it's a pretty good explanation of her AI missing in this interpretation.

Why was there no mention of Kara? As far as Lara knew, Kal's cousin Kara was sent to earth to raise/ watch over him- because this one Superman and lois is linked to the Arrow verse supergirl. Yet there was no mention of Kara. Lara wouldn't have known Kara didn't arrive with Kal/clark

I really enjoy this show, but just could not buy the premise that installing a Kryptonians consciousness in to a human would give them the powers of a Kryptonian. How do a human's eyes emit heat vision, how can a human fly???? Kal can only do this as he was born on a planet with incredibly high gravity and has kryptonian cells which absorb yellow sunlight. Basically all it seemed to say is that if a human wanted to fly and be super strong, all they have to do is do it lol

@@mikerosoft2179 Yeah I get the premise. but humans still have HUMAN cells, the cells can't do what Kryptonian cells do, even with a Kryptonian's consciousness installed. The people are still human so are still bound by Earth Physics. It just took me out of the show a bit. Still like it but bugged me.
Well the secret is.. Kryptonians are human. That's the point. They are simply accessing human potential.
