Another vote for the 257 Robert's. I reform 30-06 to 338/06, 30-30 to 35/30, and 444 Marlin to a custom 405 Jess (444 shortened to 30-30 length and necked down to 405 Winchester bullets). I also make my own 300 blackout brass as Steve suggested. Great video guys. Keep up the good work.
you know.. i been using the hornaday wax white greese.. that they can be used for all kinds of stuff..comes in a butter type container.. redn white color.. i been using it for 4 years now, ordered replacement from Brownelles.. it works perfectly.. i tried all brand and all kinds, and it just works great!.. PS thanx for conituing on with the reloading series!!!!!! i cant wait till u show us how to manufacture 300 Black out cases!!! Cheers from the woods of Maine!!
The only case reforming I've done is converting .30-06 to .280 Remington and 7.7mm Arisaka. The Arisaka has a slightly larger base diameter, but if you don't go crazy with your handloads, they work okay. It's better than nothing.
There is no such company as HORN-A-DAY….i wish you fellas would point that out to your audience. On a side note….I’ll never understand why the reinvention of the wheel is an ongoing enterprise. All these wildcats will never amount to anything as most of the latest marvels the ammo companies puke out on a regular basis. That sizing wax looks good on Caleb’s hair. It’s hard to beat STP for heavy duty sizing tasks.

I just converted 3,000 223's into 300BO. And that was a job!! But I have a few to keep me going for awhile......
You and Dad keep matching outfits 😅
What kind of press are you using? (Brand)
That’s an Area419 Zero press. Awesome!
Reminds me of that sharps caliber that came out a while back for AR’s…. I thought it was a .25 cal as well anyway.
Caleb needs a vest to match Steve
Shouldn’t you anneal it before?
What a pain in the ass

Isn’t GPC the glock pistol cartridge? Glock’s take on the 45 ACP.
That was the .45 GAP, or Glock Action Pistol.
