@ag3nt285 punisher has way more morals than Shane, the guy who only kills the guilty and Shane who tries murdering to take his friend's wife. Although, Shane was right about the world, Rick eventually adapted but this ain't a world without prisons, can't execute people on the spot.

It is our justice systems fault that we have such a high rate of felons that keep getting arrested. You think that killing criminals would solve anything? Seriously, any long term plan needs to reform the justice and prison systems. If the criminal dies cause he won't put down the weapon, it's self defense and that's the end of it. But actively hunting down people, y'all better make sure you have the right information, that the witnesses didn't fuck up, the victim isn't making shit up, or the person isn't an undercover cop. Which is impossible to do so perfectly every time. Society fucking collapse if any one decided that it was there turn to play god The punisher is just Light from Death Note but without a god complex.
In the comics Frank kills reformed villains like stilt man all he ever did was really rob banks but then he got reformed into being an actual hero and saving people and punisher killed him anyways it shows the flaws in his ideology some people go from bad to good you can't just kill anyone that makes a mistake or does something bad and call yourself a good person
Even the Joker can do something good, just look up the "White Knight" comic. I take it, it's an alternate universe, but still helps to prove that anyone can try to redeem themselves if the system was different

Daredevil and Punisher’s and all the other heroes of the world (super powered and non super powered, fictional and real-life) goals are the same: to bring the bad guy to justice. It’s just a matter of how far you can go without delving into corruption and insanity.
Hurting the bad also means that he’s saving more people. DD puts guys in jail only for them to come out and keep terrorizing the community. “I hit them and they stay down”
That would just create a bigger problem. Justice shouldn't be taken under your own hands, but at the same time, the system shouldn't be as corrupt and easy to manipulate for the people in charge...
