Also in my analysis, Ma Long can read the opponent and himself more than anyone on earth. He does that like reading a book. Though Alexis has many variations in skills but by mind no one can replace G.O.A.T Long🙏🙏🙏
My first reaction when I saw the title: because he is Ma Long 😂, jokes aside well played for both
I need to watch the match but can't find it on UA-cam ? it is not uploaded yet?
Sorry but I need to repeat my comment from last night which approved by the result 100% - FZD is a slow starter to all the matches and unfortunately not so strong mentally as Ma Long! He has to play 100% all the time and don't let games drop away. He has similar warming up problems and entering the zone like Zhang Jike. If the matches were in best of 7 he has time to warm up, otherwise he always faces problems. He is slow starter! Ma Long is still the CAPTAIN!
yes, brilliant analysis
”Coach Wang Hao is very stressful.
He seems to be very old.” Hahaha 😂
But Wang Hao is only just 37 which is only just 4 years older than Ma Long.
The goat !
Looks like ML has a career in golf after he retires. That's a very good swing.
😂😂😂
I would say that 'making less unforced error' is what played the major role here.
I would also mention Timo Boll as a good example of player who makes really little unforced errors which helps him stay on Top in his age.
Young talented players are fast, explosive, and powerful but they are luck of consistency yet an this is why they're losing while having all the tools to win.
1. Alexis had BIG problems returning serve 2. Do or Die backhand didn't work 3. Malong forehand is impeccable
I guess Fan tried more to impose his attacking game while Ma Long tried more to disrupt Alexis attacking game.
The strength of Alexis` playing style is VARIATION while Ma Long is always good at ADAPTABILITY which means CHANGING CUSTOMIZIEDLY BY OPPONENTS & CASE BY CASE. It is a supreme capability. It is not bad for Alexis to loss before the top players. He needs to develop his variations MORE BY PURPOSES.
Thanks a lot, always bringing to us good videos and a clear and precise point of view, I would like to see the game and be able to see Ma Long playing this important match
The most heavy pressure on Malong is when he has to maintain the reputation of the country and himself to win the game, while alexis in the opposite condition without pressure and as a dark horse, it looks once Malong thinks hard like a drafter is not a fighter anymore and his original playing style does not come out at all after having the upper hand only then did he start to dare to play rally after the 3rd game
Thank you for the analysis, I agree with many points. Alexis has lots of variation on the serves which makes him impredictable. But true also that his backhand costed him many points. The day Alexis gets more consistent on this backhand, is the day he will get very, very strong (he is already don't get me wrong).
Also, if I may allow myself, we say "Alexis" without pronouncig the "s" and "Lebrun" without pronoucing the "'n"
Thé problem is that you never know if he'll ever get consistent with his BH.
His BH technique for a beginning is suspicious and for me is prone to errors
Really that celeberation was unexpected good
Hi coach. As a coach in France, if I am not wrong, you should pronounce the nzme of Alexis Lebrun way better 😉
Because he's Ma Long
As the saying goes, Rising Stars were usually defeated by players with a myriad of experience. In the match, Malong was under heavy pressure to save face for China and his own big name, while Alexis, who was originally high confident, became unstable because his mentality was damaged by his own mistakes. Malong was also only able to bring out his original playing style in the 3rd game and so on
If you observe closely, the top European players playing top Chinese players have never been consistent even whey they seemed to be on top form. Could it be a mental block when playing against Chinese players?
@@adamiskandar5107 Your opinion has some truth, but it is actually the role of the Chinese coach that makes the reputation soaring, try to notice several times in important events, both Malong and other players played poorly after halftime they turned to win the game. Once when Liu Goliang as a coach invited Malong to change shirts when time out and the results were amazing, so technical and non-technical factors are always present in every big player, especially beginners
Thanks for the videos and analysis. This is much appreciated but could you avoid giving away the outcome of the match in the title, please? Something like: " A. Lebrun vs Ma Long match analysis" would be as appealing as a title but would preserve the thrill of watching these match for those who haven't seen them yet. Thank you!
Alexis's match against FZD and Ma Long is a very good example for experience and mentality, Alexis was a knight playing mind-game to confuse FZD, but a pawn in fighting the Dragon who is too experienced in countering different styles
i think the problem is recovery Time for FZD.. he played till last time at Xinxiang..
ML has a pretty smooth golf swing
Please make a "Why someone defeated someone" video for every match up.
not the most difficult match for Ma Long.) M Long is amazing
Sir your English is doing great ..😊😊😊
I find a lot more of analysis in the comment section than in the video itself...😅😅😅
Because of the experience...
Does anyone know why the odd celebration? Kinda like, get away Europe, Chinese table tennis still better lol
Well played by Ma Long. He see the young man can't be dangerous both wings plus the middle. Lebron missed to change the standing and was slow to understand Ma Long targeted his middle . Tough match but well played by Ma Long I don't know if Lebron will fix this nest time without left exposed other parts of the table , it will be interesting next time . all china players can attack more often than Lebron and if they placed the ball uncomfortable forcing weaker response Lebron will be forced to play over the limit and it is easy to get lost and make too many mistakes this way.
The golf gesture mean relax and no pressure. Unsportmanship
You got the initial point right, but then unsportmanship?
well he rarely doing a celebration and once he did it, you called him unsportmanship 💀
@@adamiskandar5107 the golf gesture isn't really good.

There are so many players defeat FZD this years. FZD in my opinion will not be the greatest unless he changes his playing style and greatly improve his forehand topspin (too many sure win and crucial points errors)
Are you kidding me . Fan Zhendong in Singapore smash was utterly unbeatable . Not Ma Long or even Wang Chuqin could match up to him
Also you can't expect them to be in top form the entire time
Losing is fine even for top 1. Performance might go up and down if you truly play table tennis. Fan is a beast and the top 1.
I think if the game base on best of 5 alexis has more chance to make an upset.. But if best of 7 it is so dificult to beat chinese player coz of their very2 strong mentality + mountain of experience.. Alexis will exhausted to mentaly in the middle of best of 7.. That just what i think😅
there was a joke for many years that the game should only have 1 points....
@@ziqiangwang537 yaa now it make sense 😅 chinese player with their technic & mental strengh almost unrival
Why Fan lose to lebrun coz fan very tired won 2 title before. That its answer.
Lebrun just kid..kid is kid
Your video analyst duration 6 minute 6 second, but actualy start analyst in 3:10 .
Your video is too short, can you explain what is change rhythm and style in this video?
did just bro emoted haha (me 2 every time I win)
See what i ve told you before, i dont believe european can be #1 rank this sport, its like comparing between football J-league to premier league, yes the gap is closer but asians still have better resources and structures
What you mean by why?😑 He is playing for defeating others and win the title and he did so.
Why? He is far better than his opponent. Simple
I think they want to put ma long into 3 seed, so that Fa will not meet him in the semi final. 5th seed has liang, liang vs japan in the final 8th, then it has chances have 4 Chinese in the semi final of world cup.
Why haha
Wow, that was one strange "analysis". Repetitive explanation with no video support.
That's not an anlysis
logic?
i want to see 7 matches instead of 5 for more exciting. Player should not win depending on lucky ball he or she receives.
One hit wonder
becos Ma is far stronger than Alexis
Thanks for spoiling who won in the title.
