They were Number 1 & 2 in the world respectively and playing against each other in the MS Final. I still have their autographs hanging over my table. Even then Ma Long was a Monster, but you only get measured in titles. So 2015 was the year he succeded in rewarding himself. I am so happy we got this awesome video footage I can show my grandkids :)

It was really an amazing year for Ma Long. He performs more aggressively, not only the power, but his control of the land points of the back balls. Really fantastic! BTW, Fan zhendong is the future No.1, pretty hopeful. Xu xin is the hard to say one...... He can beat other by only using the one side. If he can improve opposite side like Wanghao, that would be very very very perfect!!! Japan's level of table tennis improved a lot, and they prepared a lot for the Olympic in tokyo !
Aha yes :) Timo Boll said that Chinese players (Ma Long, Zhang Jike, Xu Xin, Fan Zhendong) are better than Wang Liqin or Ma Lin. I totally agree with him, they all have a feroucious backhand and forehand. Even XX has a good backhand, not as good as Wang Hao backhand but still better than a lot of penholders. Sorry for my bad english :)

Ma Long against FZD are some of the most interesting games to watch (for me). FZD has a lot more power and wins the big points, but ML wins the matches. You can learn a lot figuring out why..
