  • Pro-shot recording of AC/DC performing live at 1894's Monsters of Rock festival on Castle Donington, England.
AI-upscaled, frame rate increased and audio replaced with a good sounding bootleg from the gig.
Almost all versions feature Guns For Hire clip, but that particular footage is from another gig around the same date. You can confirm that watching and listening to amateur recording. This one includes a rare version of Highway To Hell ( • AC/DC - Highway To Hel... ), even though a new source has surfaced. TNT is incomplete. For Those About To Rock (We Salute You) is taken from BBC Whistle Test. Story goes that an employee from BBC took the tapes home and coppied them. There is more info on Barry's comment that I have pinned.
00:02:05 - Guns For Hire (audio only)
    00:05:55 - Shoot To Thrill
    00:11:40 - Sin City
    00:17:01 - Back In Black
    00:20:55 - Bad Boy Boogie
00:37:10 - Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution
00:41:44 - Flick of the Switch
    00:45:15 - Hells Bells
    00:50:55 - The Jack
    00:56:35 - Have A Drink on Me
    01:01:53 - Highway To Hell
01:06:21 - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
    01:11:20 - Whole Lotta Rosie
01:16:19 - Let There Be Rock
    01:26:50 - T.N.T. (incomplete footage)
01:31:04 - For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)

Thanks for this! The original in house video/audio got lost and only FTATR remains as spliced here from the BBC showing it on their donington special on old grey whistle test. This source the rumour goes was that a tech snuck the tape out and copied it at home and many years later it surfaced. In Russia... Where a bootleg dvd circulated where the inter song banter was snipped with each track fading to black, hence why here the still inter tracks. The audio here is from an audience recording made by a guy I knew in Newcastle England who was a prolific bootlegger. I still have one of his first generation cassettes of it and it's identical... Such a shane the original board audio and video is lost. The band did nothing to preserve it as they didn't like the performance. A stage invader whacks Angus in back in black and his guitar is toast tuning wise for rest of song. Not being meddlers or overdubbers for live product, apparently Malcolm deemed the show a write off for later release due to that incident. Best donington line up ever in 84. I was there aged 16 🙂

@@acdcportugal No worries man. I'd heard it might have been considered but they decided to get David mallet to do their next donington show in 91 and release that which was of course a much more slick affair than the in-house cameras back in '84 (which I like better!).

They were practically veterans at this point with 8 albums under their belt and 3 with their new singer while Angus was still only 29. Bands today who just started 10 years ago seem relatively new with half the material these guys dished out in the same time frame. AC/DC from 75'-90' had one of the strongest runs by any band I've ever seen.

82 to 89 was as bad as they ever got?? The Razors Edge in 1990 put them back on top thanks to Thunderstruck and a world class producer in Bruce Fairbain. Shame he passed away. Woulda like more albums produced by him.

What a day that was, all bands were good, DC if the rumour is true had only a couple of rehearsals prior to this gig. Also,He still had the long hair on the next tour in 85. The year I finally got to meet them at the Holiday Inn , near Newcastle. A great gig at Whitley Bay and an even better, the next day spedning a couple of hours chatting to Angus , Mal and Cliff ( Simon was still in his room with ermm friends ;) ) And Brian was staying somewhere in Newcastle

Nobody does. But it most likely is either an isolated track without crowd noise, or it’s a recording during rehearsal in the venue.
