When the only livers I know from Niji are the serial racist Uki Violeta and probably bully Emma Alouette (I know her from a meme where her viewers were dating each other and she blocked them, also I say probably because it's not confirmed yet afaik), that's a good reason to hate the company as a whole. I've started taking a dislike to that saying, as it comes with the implication that malice and incompetence are mutually exclusive. Whereas I have actually seen people engaging in what I call malicious incompetence, i.e. intentionally doing stupid things out of spite.
Honestly Vox's statements about Selen just ignoring the rules and claims that there's no favoritism, along with the recent drama with Uki (I think is his name?) is 4-5 different Morton's Fork situations. 1. Claiming that Selen ignored rules and did things without getting prior approval: either the claim is false and Niji looks even worse or it's true and, considering what we've seen from Niji lately and various theories, Vox is basically complaining that Niji's suffering the consequences of their actions. After all, if NijiEN was playing favorites as badly as it looks, there's no real incentive to follow their stated flow chart for approval when you know for a fact that they'll just drag the process out indefinitely to hurt your momentum. 2. Vox's claim that there's no favoritism and himself: it's pretty clear that Vox has received a lot of preferential treatment. This claim means Niji needs to stop with that treatment, therefore hurting Vox, or prove Selen/Doki right and make Vox look like a liar. 3. The "no favoritism" claim and Uki Violeta: Uki more or less poured napalm on this fire as things were dying down by letting himself be baited into showing his hatred of white people, particularly straight white men, on X. This has led people to dig through his history in Nijisanji and his past life to reveal that this attitude is a constant for him, which has naturally angered more than a few people. Niji's more or less let him get away with it for years and now they not only have a similar issue as with 2 (punish Uki and piss him off or ignore it and both prove Doki right) but if they don't do anything at all it's likely that they'll find their reputation hurt more by the implicit support of Uki's racism and bigotry through their inaction. 4-5. "Loose lips" retaliation: if Nijisanji somehow happens to navigate out of 2 and 3 by acting in an attempt to disprove Doki's claims of favoritism, it could backfire on them heavily if Vox or Uki make any public complaints that indicate they've never had to worry about that before as they'd both be exposed for punishing Uki and/or shifting attention away from Vox to save face *and* anger two of their obvious favorites. This goes doubly if there's any sort of punishment for Uki followed by a graduation: it'd imply that Uki was upset enough to leave Niji over it. At this point, if my interpretation of things is accurate, the *best* case scenario for them to deal with all that with minimal (additional) damage to their reputation would be to stop overprioritizing Vox and their other favorites (at least for a few months to a year) and either discipline Uki or (if it looks likely he wouldn't take it well) preemptively terminate him and use the accusations against him as justification. There's probably other options, but that's the only one I can see that works out remotely okay for them.
There is no "other side" or "other truth". While niji isn't AS bad as wactor, we cannot and will not excuse their abuse and harassment. They need to and will be sued and bankrupt. The end.

@@elektra8535 That is what I have been trying point out, Cover really cares deeply about its talents, even Rushia who had her contract ended because of the recent controversy with Mafumafu because of a simple Discord message she forgot to silence, and her mental stability began spiraling out of control, whilst Mel ended up being backstabbed and was betrayed although she stated the problem had been fixed. Cover doesn’t just own the alias - it cares deeply about it.

I said to a former friend a year ago that Selen was one of the pillars of Niji. She was a reason the company didn't get too much hate. I realized that I took Pomu for granted because she has a bright future now that I truly see how ambitious she is. Now that she got terminated, Selen (now Doki) has indirectly helped Sayu cleared her case. Sadly I think with everything that happened, the company will never be the same again Furthermore the 3 livers who defeated her will lose those who are not parasocial enough to see who those people truly are because we either saw their true colors or made clear that they are cowards who will never stand up for themselves. I can't imagine the mental state of those who truly didn't ask for all this drama and this is the saddest part. If they didn't continue to push and move on like Doki wanted, nothing would have escalated that much
Selen and Pomu were almost unanimously loved by very different sections of the overall audience, yes even them. So it seems especially strange that they weren't promoted in merch as heavily as some others nor greenlit for projects nearly as often.
It makes me think that Selen and Pomu were like the backbone of NijiEN that it is prior to the controversy now. Treat them like crap and the entire branch falls off, and oh boy, did it fall off so bad.

I'm also a Hololive fan, but before things got like they are now, or the public just didn't know what was really going on there, I liked that there was another big VTuber agency with an EN branch. More chances for EN VTubers to make it big in an agency if they wanted that. Hololive also has its own issues, but it seems like they try to learn from them and improve things.
The blackscreen 'message' felt off from the start. If someone is genuinely scared they're not going to maintain a façade or a character. They're going to speak plainly. Ike is the only one in that stream who sounded actually nervous. Every new thing I learn just makes the 'clique' bully circle seem like the most plausible cause.
Funnily enough, Andrew picked up on that right away. He said from the outset that Ike was nervous as if he knew he was about to do something wrong and that would have repercussions on him.

I’m going to use the Nijisanji names of a few livers but Yugo, Zaion and Selen being terminated has left such a sour taste in my mouth because of how Anycolor stonewalled them from their accounts before terminating them. Zaion left me confused because I had known of some of the situations that had been stated and didn’t think much of them. Yugo I was in complete disbelief when he left. Selen just pissed me off because of how much work she did in everything she did.
Thank you finally someone talks about yugo he got terminated the same way as the other two but I think in this situation nijisanji got too cocky with everything thinking that since they got away with both yugo and zaion they can get away with selen but I’m so glad that they didn’t they finally got karma for how badly they treat every single talent that aren’t their favorite

Yugo was the first Niji liver I've ever watched and they were the reason I got so into Niji in the first place. seeing their sudden termination with no explanation and no graduation/farewell stream or tweet absolutely ruined me when it happened. For all the valuable info this report provides, I want to point out the common thread that links it all together: something is very much not right at the core of NijiEN. It reminds me of some fast food chains that gradually gain a reputation for poor quality in all aspects, worsening so much until the business collapses. There have been a few redemption stories in that regard, but it was not easy. A lot of very hard, expensive, crucial changes had to be made, lots of ineffective staff had to be purged en masse, along with a total restructuring of the company itself. That is hard to do; takes a lot of will and sometimes a lot of money. I get the feeling NijiEN is in a similar situation, and I wonder if they realize what it would take to turn the branch around in full. This was well made, Rima. I'm sure it was a lot of work, and the community appreciates it. With how overstaturated the internet has become with an endless tide of information, it can border upon impossible for regular people to properly contextualize events like this.

still to this day it bothers me that Finana called that interaction with Zaion gaslighting. As someone who has been a victim of gaslighting it is >NOT< a one time interaction. it's not someone lying or skewing the truth to their benefit a couple of times. Real gaslighting is months of twisting reality and tearing your confidence down until you may even become suicidal. It's straight up brainwashing you into believing that your reality isn't real and that your own eyes and ears are worthless. Usually, there's also a power imbalance that facilitates it (boss and employee or parent and child for example). If anything, Finana has the seniority in a JP company, so the power balance skews more in her favor. I just don't believe what she experienced is real actual gaslighting, and I wish she hadn't used that word so freely.

I'll be talking to a friend over discord and after their first message I'll go "oh sorry for bothering you at work, i didn't know your hours changed" and they'll reply "How'd you know I was at work?" The answer lies in the fact that they capitalized the first letter of their sentence, something that only happens when they're using their phone. They don't use their phone for discord at home since they use their PC that doesn't auto capitalize, and if they're out doing some kind of errand their attention is probably on the task at hand. Work lasts long enough that talking for a sec over discord isn't out of the ordinary, whereas only the terminally online would bother trying to hold a discord conversation while say, buying groceries. Since I know them well enough that they wouldn't do this, I know from only the fact that they capitalized the first letter of their sentence that they are in fact currently at work and since they are at work their hours must have changed.

I'm so glad I had the insight to back up all of Selen's videos a few days before her termination. I'll always remember what it was like on Feb 5th, knowing about Dokibird's account already, and immediately going to sub to her to show my support. I saw her at 19K, and I was hopeful that we could get her to 100K by the end of the year (at time of writing, we've surpassed 600k). I was chanting "sink the yacht" in her YT chat and then her Twitch chat. I went to all my friends to spread the word. I was watching all the indies dogpile in the replies to the termination announcement and shower Dokibird with love. But on the other hand, my heart sank to the floor when I understood what she meant when she said "an attempt". I felt awful seeing all the hate that Enna and Millie were getting (they were still friends as of Jan 26th, probably still are). I also felt awful when Matara announced that she was delaying her new outfit debut that was supposed to happen that day (and later stating on stream that she threw up several times that day due to stress.). Seeing Doki's triumphant return a few days later made me realize what I had been missing all this time, as I had only seen her live a few times before. So glad to be part of her community now. I just wish things had gone differently on Feb 12th
53:38 "The legal proceeding hasn't started" in a lot of cases legal documents shared with the second party are NOT meant to become lawsuits to begin with, it's a way to reach a settlement outside the court to avoid lengthy procedures and hefty fees... In the case of Dokibird I'd think it's an HR complaint, since Doki herself said her lawyer sent them to get things moving after over a month of shadow suspension... They also know full well she's not gonna file a lawsuit since she said that publicly on February 7 on her return live stream as brought up in 39:32 . The management (if at all exists) should never have given the documents to their livers and break confidentiality until it is an official lawsuit, and they should have never allowed them to talk about it until it's official. But what I think, they brought the document up intentionally just out of malice and to sabotage her immense growth and public support, and thought they could replicate what they did with Zaion, and oh boy it did backfire horrendously...
Excellent work Rima! My hope in this whole debacle is that Niji & livers as whole just leave Dokibird alone from this point and onwards. No one is interested in hearing further excuses from them, just move on from Selen, as any attack on her will simply backfire when it is established they terminated her in a scummy way and pre-emptively from a perceived threat. If not for Nijisanji intentionally talked about harassment, the public wouldn't have know about that, nor Dokibird revealing her self attempt in her statement in reply to the sudden termination. Dragoons who care for Dokibird should be heeding her request of moving on, just enjoy Dokibird's entertaining them whenever she streams. What's left from what I can see, in the Nijisanji subreddit at least, some people keep dunking on the company. I assume there is a group a people seeking retribution for Sayu, as Selen's situation gives credibility to Sayu being done dirty too, there is probably a group who doesn't really care about Dokibird herself but still dunk on Niji because it has done something bad, and others that are simply part of a hate bandwagon. But I think eventually the fire will be snuffed out and moderators will take control once again. It's simply best for everyone to walk away from this, it's simply draining.
Real talk. The clips like what you showed by finana lead to me getting doxxed. My former address was similar to Zaion. I don't blame finana, but I can never forgive the company. Had the not cause so much hate, I don't think crazy vtuber asylum bros would have mistaken doxxed my address. No offence to the fish, but the number of times she's just blindly believed things other vtubers have told her as a joke and had to be told that they were just joking instead of figuring it out herself... 46:21 It should also be reiterated that the song Doki was covering and the ex-member that appeared in the video had already informed NiJi that Selen/Doki had permission to use the song and have the character appear in the video. NiJi owns the character, so why would it be a problem in the first place? Rima showed the tweet from the person in question had given notice of permission a year ago when the project started, but I'm too lazy to go back and fish out the exact timestamp. It's also speculated that NiJi would have already verified things at multiple other stages in the project (animation storyboard, etc), so they had advanced notice the "ex-livers" appeared in the video and would have confirmed it was ok at that time otherwise the project wouldn't have moved forward. EDIT: 1:00:18 If they intend on supporting their EN members, you'd think they wouldn't hire people inside of Japan for that. You have to show up at their head office and then *MAY* switch to remote. No one's traveling around the globe for a minimum-wage job that you then _MIGHT_ be able to do remotely. They also mention that they want you to be in the office at least 3 days a week. If you want to support EN, you're going to have to suck it up and hire English-speaking people outside of Japan that will be 100% remote workers. Having English managers in similar timezones as the people they are managing would also help greatly so that the managers are actually around when the talent is active. Hololive talent (especially the first couple months after debut) are often getting messages from their Managers while they are on stream. Usually just checking in to see if everything is fine. You often have Hololive girls mention how their manager is sweet for checking in on them during a stream.
I've been thinking about this for a while but I still think...what the three livers did, specifically Vox, was still a betrayal in the end of the highest caliber. To say that you don't think your behavior was harassment instead of just respecting how Selen felt about it and just apologizing and then accusing HER of basically lying to manipulate him like he is the victim all of a sudden...completely deplorable. I know that the management probably forced them and made them read a script and all but the idea of spitting this garbage at all, let alone to save YOUR own career shows that, in the end, you only care about yourself and will say whatever it takes to save yourself. While there's still a possibility that Nijisanji lied to all of them about the situation and faked things to manipulate them into taking the fall for them, the fact of the matter is that he never apologized to Selen about the whole bullying thing and just doubled down and made himself the victim.
For the record, it's not just fans, Nijisanji EN themselves have outed Vox, Ike, and Elira as some of the bullies when they stated they had to share the legal documents Doki sent to Niji's lawyers because "they were legally implicated" in the potential lawsuit. That's pretty much proof positive, that anyone who had access to those documents is cited as a guilty party in the harassment and bullying that goes on within #KuroSanji. Enna and Millie were stated by Elira as listed in the documents, but it's not conclusive whether they were listed as guilty parties, or not.

at 1:00:20 , postings for hires like that are more likely for PR practices in my experience with the business world. Its more of a show for investors to give an image that they are going to improve. It is also used as an excuse to bide time when under pressure such as "we were looking for someone to fill that role but nobody would apply", hence the ridiculously low pay for a MANAGER. I would recommend against applying as your talent can be used elsewhere and grant you a way better pay. Even if you did apply you most likely would only be "put up for consideration and will be contacted at a later date", and they would be much more likely internally hiring.
my thoughts on every thing niji is doing almost there is alot because i know how Japan specifically company's in japan think about mental health. the whole if they die they cant fight back and waste our money which is the sad truth of it. japan with mental health has always been bad partly from desensitization, and makes me sad hearing some storys i hear. with knowing all of that i do feel safe saying they where probably aiming to have her commit a 3rd attempt and succeed. because the lack of self preservation on this is weirdand the timing of agression of it feels like that

It seemed rather shortsighted from such a huge company to inflate their foreign branch constantly with new waves and not provide the necessary infrastructure to handle all these talents from the get-go. Even before the drama with Sayu broke, I thought that releasing new waves so close from each other, would not only hurt them, but especially the Livers who would eventually compete with each other for viewer- and memberships, which could potentially sour the atmosphere within the branch. Who could’ve expected back then, that it would escalate to such a degree?

Still wanna note Rosemi has completely stopped all activities, Petra had but one Collab. Vox Elira and Millie also have very low activity. And of course almost all others had slowed Activities. Most are full time creators so they can't just stop there job, also they many would not been close to Selen. So no blame just of interest points.

Honestly Vox's statements about Selen just ignoring the rules and claims that there's no favoritism, along with the recent drama with Uki (I think is his name?) is 4-5 different Morton's Fork situations.
1. Claiming that Selen ignored rules and did things without getting prior approval: either the claim is false and Niji looks even worse or it's true and, considering what we've seen from Niji lately and various theories, Vox is basically complaining that Niji's suffering the consequences of their actions. After all, if NijiEN was playing favorites as badly as it looks, there's no real incentive to follow their stated flow chart for approval when you know for a fact that they'll just drag the process out indefinitely to hurt your momentum.
2. Vox's claim that there's no favoritism and himself: it's pretty clear that Vox has received a lot of preferential treatment. This claim means Niji needs to stop with that treatment, therefore hurting Vox, or prove Selen/Doki right and make Vox look like a liar.
3. The "no favoritism" claim and Uki Violeta: Uki more or less poured napalm on this fire as things were dying down by letting himself be baited into showing his hatred of white people, particularly straight white men, on X. This has led people to dig through his history in Nijisanji and his past life to reveal that this attitude is a constant for him, which has naturally angered more than a few people. Niji's more or less let him get away with it for years and now they not only have a similar issue as with 2 (punish Uki and piss him off or ignore it and both prove Doki right) but if they don't do anything at all it's likely that they'll find their reputation hurt more by the implicit support of Uki's racism and bigotry through their inaction.
4-5. "Loose lips" retaliation: if Nijisanji somehow happens to navigate out of 2 and 3 by acting in an attempt to disprove Doki's claims of favoritism, it could backfire on them heavily if Vox or Uki make any public complaints that indicate they've never had to worry about that before as they'd both be exposed for punishing Uki and/or shifting attention away from Vox to save face *and* anger two of their obvious favorites. This goes doubly if there's any sort of punishment for Uki followed by a graduation: it'd imply that Uki was upset enough to leave Niji over it.
At this point, if my interpretation of things is accurate, the *best* case scenario for them to deal with all that with minimal (additional) damage to their reputation would be to stop overprioritizing Vox and their other favorites (at least for a few months to a year) and either discipline Uki or (if it looks likely he wouldn't take it well) preemptively terminate him and use the accusations against him as justification. There's probably other options, but that's the only one I can see that works out remotely okay for them.
There is no "other side" or "other truth". While niji isn't AS bad as wactor, we cannot and will not excuse their abuse and harassment. They need to and will be sued and bankrupt. The end.

I said to a former friend a year ago that Selen was one of the pillars of Niji. She was a reason the company didn't get too much hate. I realized that I took Pomu for granted because she has a bright future now that I truly see how ambitious she is.
Now that she got terminated, Selen (now Doki) has indirectly helped Sayu cleared her case. Sadly I think with everything that happened, the company will never be the same again
Furthermore the 3 livers who defeated her will lose those who are not parasocial enough to see who those people truly are because we either saw their true colors or made clear that they are cowards who will never stand up for themselves.

Selen just pissed me off because of how much work she did in everything she did.

For all the valuable info this report provides, I want to point out the common thread that links it all together: something is very much not right at the core of NijiEN. It reminds me of some fast food chains that gradually gain a reputation for poor quality in all aspects, worsening so much until the business collapses. There have been a few redemption stories in that regard, but it was not easy. A lot of very hard, expensive, crucial changes had to be made, lots of ineffective staff had to be purged en masse, along with a total restructuring of the company itself. That is hard to do; takes a lot of will and sometimes a lot of money. I get the feeling NijiEN is in a similar situation, and I wonder if they realize what it would take to turn the branch around in full.
This was well made, Rima. I'm sure it was a lot of work, and the community appreciates it. With how overstaturated the internet has become with an endless tide of information, it can border upon impossible for regular people to properly contextualize events like this.

still to this day it bothers me that Finana called that interaction with Zaion gaslighting. As someone who has been a victim of gaslighting it is >NOT< a one time interaction. it's not someone lying or skewing the truth to their benefit a couple of times. Real gaslighting is months of twisting reality and tearing your confidence down until you may even become suicidal. It's straight up brainwashing you into believing that your reality isn't real and that your own eyes and ears are worthless. Usually, there's also a power imbalance that facilitates it (boss and employee or parent and child for example). If anything, Finana has the seniority in a JP company, so the power balance skews more in her favor. I just don't believe what she experienced is real actual gaslighting, and I wish she hadn't used that word so freely.

The answer lies in the fact that they capitalized the first letter of their sentence, something that only happens when they're using their phone. They don't use their phone for discord at home since they use their PC that doesn't auto capitalize, and if they're out doing some kind of errand their attention is probably on the task at hand. Work lasts long enough that talking for a sec over discord isn't out of the ordinary, whereas only the terminally online would bother trying to hold a discord conversation while say, buying groceries. Since I know them well enough that they wouldn't do this, I know from only the fact that they capitalized the first letter of their sentence that they are in fact currently at work and since they are at work their hours must have changed.

I'm so glad I had the insight to back up all of Selen's videos a few days before her termination. I'll always remember what it was like on Feb 5th, knowing about Dokibird's account already, and immediately going to sub to her to show my support. I saw her at 19K, and I was hopeful that we could get her to 100K by the end of the year (at time of writing, we've surpassed 600k). I was chanting "sink the yacht" in her YT chat and then her Twitch chat. I went to all my friends to spread the word. I was watching all the indies dogpile in the replies to the termination announcement and shower Dokibird with love.
But on the other hand, my heart sank to the floor when I understood what she meant when she said "an attempt". I felt awful seeing all the hate that Enna and Millie were getting (they were still friends as of Jan 26th, probably still are). I also felt awful when Matara announced that she was delaying her new outfit debut that was supposed to happen that day (and later stating on stream that she threw up several times that day due to stress.).
Seeing Doki's triumphant return a few days later made me realize what I had been missing all this time, as I had only seen her live a few times before. So glad to be part of her community now.
I just wish things had gone differently on Feb 12th

53:38 "The legal proceeding hasn't started" in a lot of cases legal documents shared with the second party are NOT meant to become lawsuits to begin with, it's a way to reach a settlement outside the court to avoid lengthy procedures and hefty fees... In the case of Dokibird I'd think it's an HR complaint, since Doki herself said her lawyer sent them to get things moving after over a month of shadow suspension...
They also know full well she's not gonna file a lawsuit since she said that publicly on February 7 on her return live stream as brought up in 39:32 . The management (if at all exists) should never have given the documents to their livers and break confidentiality until it is an official lawsuit, and they should have never allowed them to talk about it until it's official. But what I think, they brought the document up intentionally just out of malice and to sabotage her immense growth and public support, and thought they could replicate what they did with Zaion, and oh boy it did backfire horrendously...
To say it didn’t work is an *_understatement_* and in fact, it only made fans angrier.

Excellent work Rima! My hope in this whole debacle is that Niji & livers as whole just leave Dokibird alone from this point and onwards. No one is interested in hearing further excuses from them, just move on from Selen, as any attack on her will simply backfire when it is established they terminated her in a scummy way and pre-emptively from a perceived threat. If not for Nijisanji intentionally talked about harassment, the public wouldn't have know about that, nor Dokibird revealing her self attempt in her statement in reply to the sudden termination.
Dragoons who care for Dokibird should be heeding her request of moving on, just enjoy Dokibird's entertaining them whenever she streams. What's left from what I can see, in the Nijisanji subreddit at least, some people keep dunking on the company. I assume there is a group a people seeking retribution for Sayu, as Selen's situation gives credibility to Sayu being done dirty too, there is probably a group who doesn't really care about Dokibird herself but still dunk on Niji because it has done something bad, and others that are simply part of a hate bandwagon. But I think eventually the fire will be snuffed out and moderators will take control once again.
It's simply best for everyone to walk away from this, it's simply draining.

46:21 It should also be reiterated that the song Doki was covering and the ex-member that appeared in the video had already informed NiJi that Selen/Doki had permission to use the song and have the character appear in the video. NiJi owns the character, so why would it be a problem in the first place? Rima showed the tweet from the person in question had given notice of permission a year ago when the project started, but I'm too lazy to go back and fish out the exact timestamp.
It's also speculated that NiJi would have already verified things at multiple other stages in the project (animation storyboard, etc), so they had advanced notice the "ex-livers" appeared in the video and would have confirmed it was ok at that time otherwise the project wouldn't have moved forward.
EDIT: 1:00:18 If they intend on supporting their EN members, you'd think they wouldn't hire people inside of Japan for that. You have to show up at their head office and then *MAY* switch to remote. No one's traveling around the globe for a minimum-wage job that you then _MIGHT_ be able to do remotely. They also mention that they want you to be in the office at least 3 days a week.
If you want to support EN, you're going to have to suck it up and hire English-speaking people outside of Japan that will be 100% remote workers. Having English managers in similar timezones as the people they are managing would also help greatly so that the managers are actually around when the talent is active.
Hololive talent (especially the first couple months after debut) are often getting messages from their Managers while they are on stream. Usually just checking in to see if everything is fine. You often have Hololive girls mention how their manager is sweet for checking in on them during a stream.
I've been thinking about this for a while but I still think...what the three livers did, specifically Vox, was still a betrayal in the end of the highest caliber. To say that you don't think your behavior was harassment instead of just respecting how Selen felt about it and just apologizing and then accusing HER of basically lying to manipulate him like he is the victim all of a sudden...completely deplorable. I know that the management probably forced them and made them read a script and all but the idea of spitting this garbage at all, let alone to save YOUR own career shows that, in the end, you only care about yourself and will say whatever it takes to save yourself. While there's still a possibility that Nijisanji lied to all of them about the situation and faked things to manipulate them into taking the fall for them, the fact of the matter is that he never apologized to Selen about the whole bullying thing and just doubled down and made himself the victim.
For the record, it's not just fans, Nijisanji EN themselves have outed Vox, Ike, and Elira as some of the bullies when they stated they had to share the legal documents Doki sent to Niji's lawyers because "they were legally implicated" in the potential lawsuit. That's pretty much proof positive, that anyone who had access to those documents is cited as a guilty party in the harassment and bullying that goes on within #KuroSanji. Enna and Millie were stated by Elira as listed in the documents, but it's not conclusive whether they were listed as guilty parties, or not.
I ld like to say, THE DAY AFTER they announced a VTuber was harassed and attempted to commit unalive, They advertised merch.....
Then the day after that announced to their investors that firing her would be financially negligible

at 1:00:20 , postings for hires like that are more likely for PR practices in my experience with the business world. Its more of a show for investors to give an image that they are going to improve. It is also used as an excuse to bide time when under pressure such as "we were looking for someone to fill that role but nobody would apply", hence the ridiculously low pay for a MANAGER. I would recommend against applying as your talent can be used elsewhere and grant you a way better pay. Even if you did apply you most likely would only be "put up for consideration and will be contacted at a later date", and they would be much more likely internally hiring.
my thoughts on every thing niji is doing almost there is alot because i know how Japan specifically company's in japan think about mental health. the whole if they die they cant fight back and waste our money which is the sad truth of it. japan with mental health has always been bad partly from desensitization, and makes me sad hearing some storys i hear. with knowing all of that i do feel safe saying they where probably aiming to have her commit a 3rd attempt and succeed. because the lack of self preservation on this is weirdand the timing of agression of it feels like that

it f me up even more when she attempted twice. i just hope no one needs to go through this. please, you are not alone, talk with friends & family or seek professional help if need be. it may suck having to wait for a professional and consult someone who is a stranger but please know youre never alone. and if you know someone who is going through this, be there for them okay? make them feel needed and heard. at the same time while being there for them, take a mental health break once in a while.
It seemed rather shortsighted from such a huge company to inflate their foreign branch constantly with new waves and not provide the necessary infrastructure to handle all these talents from the get-go.
Even before the drama with Sayu broke, I thought that releasing new waves so close from each other, would not only hurt them, but especially the Livers who would eventually compete with each other for viewer- and memberships, which could potentially sour the atmosphere within the branch.
Who could’ve expected back then, that it would escalate to such a degree?

I think it is important to distinguish expressing dissatisfaction from harassment. Especially by the ones doing it, as harassment is unacceptable, but also those who intentionally conflate the two to make any negativity at all be seen as harassment
