I love the Balmain blazers and I don’t think they will ever go out of style. They are not worth 2000 pounds though, that’s ridiculous, especially when there’s so many beautiful, well made dupes out there.

Hey Sophie, I think the Balmain blazer is still worth it. It’s such a classic style. I liked the pink jumper with the Balmain logo on the front, the Jimmy Choo sneakers, and the Jacquemus bag. I think the houndstooth jacket looked a little big on you. I would like it better if it were more tailored.

I bought a Pink Balmain Look-Alike Jacket a little over a Year Ago, that no one could tell to look at, that it wasn't the Designer Brand!

I'll preface with that I'm a massive sucker for houndstooth, but that blazer looks fantastic! If you didn't want it as boxy I'd try a size down but that does seem to be something that's in at the moment, but regardless of that, I think you should keep it. The dress without the shirt is really cute, but it really depends on how you feel about a square neckline, the skirt of the dress is adorable and I completely agree that sticking a shirt under there gives off school vibes. I think it'd be something really easy to dress up/down depending on where you're going, so it could be nice to keep.
Balmain blazer may be a classic, but should rest in a closet for a season or two. Right now, when you compare it with those loose fitting, manly or oversized ones - it does look outdated. But it probably won't be out of style for long, fashion seems to recycle trends much quicker now.

The thing with wearing designer ppl tend to think others are looking at them wearing designer thinking oohh they are cool but its not really happening its just in your mind. But its ok with me because when i see somebody blatantly starring at my designer pieces i'm like yh they seen it.

Loved your face when you said "never pay full price for it"! Keep them. Blazers go around and around in the cycle. Right now in the US they are back in style, not sure about the UK. I lost weight and donated several blazers and never got around to replacing them, argh! Keep the blazer and the dress. That's a classic blazer, I think it looks weird to you because you like them more fitted. And the dress by itself looks fantastic on you! (It does look like a school girl dress with the shirt, maybe try it with a light colored tee instead?)

I like the jacket, but I felt it looked a bit big on you. I would wear something like that, for sure. I liked the dress on you as well, but not with that shirt. You could wear the shirt on it's own maybe.

I would love to have a Balmain Blazer.... but I just can't wrap my head around that price. Even at 50% the Balmain is still over 1000$. If it were around 500$ I would probably do it. I did find an amazing Zara one a few years ago. Very similar cut and fabric and I love that thing to bits. I'll hang on to that one for now LOL.

I love the structure of the Balmain blazer, but unfortunately because it is wool, I won't ever be able to wear it. Allergic to wool!
