Isabelle is the character I never thought would be my main but when I noticed how I play which is more arial and baiting which somehow I chose Isabelle over ness. Anyways after watching this video I learned more about how to combo than I did before so thank you.

That was quite an impressive in depth explanation of isabelle on a side note that has not been mentioned is - rod with smash input has quite some blind spots during reel in (around where the hook is close to her) while tilt rod has NO blindspots and catches even opponents in front of her during reel in -reel in rod deals slightly more Knockback and Damage so its always best to catch opponents during reel in -you can buffer tilt rod out of any moves like jab > rod or nair > rod (shorter cast of rod) so also be mindful about the buffer system when you want smash rod! Because buffering rod will always result into tilt rod

it's always funny when i play smash with my friends, their main characters they play are ridley and ganondorf, and then me with isabelle, they said she sucks but i proved them wrong and kept beating them
"Isabelle is the town mayor" -fake fan of animal crossing I think you mean she is the town secretary! In new leaf the main player is the mayor and isabelle assists as secretary. In new horizons Tom nook owns the island and isabelle is the secretary again. Also her absence from tournaments is only because she became heavily nerfed so people stopped playing her, and even tho she was balance buffed and imo is still rlly good she is absent from the tournament scene as she is "one of the most toxic causing characters to fight against", according to several pros. She plays very different from villager and is much better, just requires more technique and precision than villager. A former S tier, isabelle is a missing figure in the competitive scene, unlike the early days of ultimate where she was widely recognised gold
