I prefer Villager. Not only is his pocket cool but also his down B. It can be used as a wall, a weapon, a throwing item, and even a rare chance to heal. Especially the axe and the slab of wood. 🌳🍎⚒
@@Cristeve Yeah. I wish it was more like Game and Watch's 7 where you can occasionally get 3 apples. I wish it was a little more frequent but it's still cool.

Fishing rod hate is undeserved. You can slip under, shield, shoot, dodge, etc., but Villagers Lloyd beats everything but swords. That move is crazy dumb.
@@Casino220 The fishing rod is also a long range command grab that can pretty easily be spammed, and if you do duck under it, if she reels it back in, it catches you anyway, and after she has you, she can toss you anywhere she freakin wants. @@Casino220 And while Lloyd is a little annoying, it has plenty of startup, so it isn't exactly going to catch you by surprise, and it moves slowly enough for most characters to be able to just jump over it or do whatever they need to as long as they aren't right next to Villager.
I played Villager back in Smash 4 and I still prefer him since I find him more entertainingto play with, but Isabelle isn't bad either. Wouldn't mind learning how to play her eventually.
I think the reason why Isabelle is not an echo fighter it's because Isabelle was made during the new generation of Animal Crossing where everyone had an increase in height but since the Villager was based on city Folk he's much shorter
It’s cause they wanted to make her a full fighter it has nothing to do with their models cause dark Samus and samus have very different models and animations
You missed quite a few differences: - For Isabelle's jab specifically, you went into combo potential. You missed reverse utilt (frame 6) at ~35% and pocket (frame 9) at ~65%. The "high %" showing 150% was misleading, dsmash and ftilt (both frame 8) are true followups at ~100% and above. Source: ultimateframedata.com/isabelle.php - Isabelle's ftilt has more knockback growth but less base knockback (KBG=90 to Villager's KBG=50, Isabelle's BKB=56 to Villager's BKB=80), making it a more effective KO tool. Source: rubendal.github.io/ssbu/#/Character/Isabelle ; rubendal.github.io/ssbu/#/Character/Villager [see AttackS3 for ftilt] - Villager's dtilt has slightly more KBG and BKB, with 95 and 50 to Isabelle's 92 and 43 respectively. Source: see sources at previous point [see AttackLw3 for dtilt] - On any tournament legal stage, Isabelle's side special upthrow is always preferable for killing. Fthrow kills later due to having a worse angle - As another comment noted, Isabelle's up special goes a bit further horizontally (probably due to her higher air speed, with Isabelle's 1.02 to Villager's 0.987. Sources:ultimateframedata.com/isabelle.php ; ultimateframedata.com/villager.php ) - Their throws' animations are mostly the same, but their functionality differs. For this, I'll take their two most useful throws: Isabelle's bthrow has more KBG but less BKB, with 110 and 18 to Villager's 88 and 46, respectively Villager's dthrow has way more BKB but way less KBG, with 78 and 60 to Isabelle's 60 and 80 respectively. This makes the difference between shorthop fair and fullhop fair as a true followup. Sources: see 2nd point [see ThrowLw for dthrow] Please do a bit more research next time. A lot of people think these characters are basically echoes, which is only fueled by videos like this not accurately depicting their differences. EDIT: jab -> pocket being true at 65% is only so on certain projectiles that set up into a shieldbreak. Otherwise it's over 100%. Sorry for that :(

@@FridgeRaider69 u fr went into detail haha but good idea
We need more people like you making these videos keep up the good work
For dropping a fruit with Villager down B, do items need to be "ON"?
Nope.
@@elliottbarnes2384 Is it really random?
@@julo_ghost yes
@@elliottbarnes2384 Is it super rare? Like Peach's bob-bomb?
@@julo_ghost It is very rare. I couldn't find the exact numbers, but as a villager main, I can assure you, it is very rare.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate sure is have alot of character looks the same but who knows they also have difference
next is Pit and Dark Pit pls :P
Isabelle isn't faster her initial dash is farther which allows her to reach the other side of the stage faster
Isabelle's Side-B needs to be unblockable. Her Down-B also needs something to make it a little more practical. Maybe a windbox at the start of it. Some characters can literally just walk past it without getting hit.
they're interesting chars although they dont fit my battle style im still glad they made in smash as long the fans are happy with them and so am i
As someone who's not a Villager or Isabelle main, they have a really versatile Neutral Special and it fascinates me how their moveset consists of basic, everyday items.
@@anibalhyrulesantihero7021 yeah i aggree, i may have trouble using them but then again any fighters even mewtwo and lucario and low tier fighter can be OP if you know how to use them right
@@rydrake9509 As a Link main, Link has a creative playstyle with his Remote Bomb.
@@anibalhyrulesantihero7021 yup true thats what i like about the rework of link in smash bros it can be use for an damage boost recovery and more, theres a lot of creativity ways to use smash bros chars for sure
They are both awesome!
Isabelle is a dog
And villager is a human
Thats it lol
Isabelle is not a dog she's a devil
Villager :/
As a fellow Isabelle main, I approve this video! I also approve that awesome Smash shirt you were wearing at the end! Please tell me where I can obtain that?
So you prefer playing as weak characters
Yep, pretty much. Villager main here.
Boi, villager and Isabelle? What’s going to be the next one? Ridley and charizard? XD
It’s simple.
One is just normal and the other is so precious, no one wants to hurt her.
I do, fuck isabelle
Smash is smash
Isabelle is cute but my God is she annoying to fight against.
@@RealSwissShadyexactly she knew what she was getting herself into accepting that invitation letter
Villager is precious
One is a dog, one is a human. That’s the difference :D
my brother is a villager main im a Isabelle main
I love these types of videos
You call it a forward special
I no longer respect you
Joking
Only Terry and Min Min have Forward and Back Specials
One thing, apparently Isabelle's Fsmash has a bit of invincibility. I used her fsmash against pit side special. And i didn't got damaged. Pit just went trough Isabelle. And we did it like 5 times in a row.
Am i the only one who prefer villager then Isabelle?
No. I think Villager is cooler. Especially Down B because it's really versatile.
Villager secondary here
No
@@villager9874 You! YOU!! YYOOOOOUUU!!!! YOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!
@@anibalhyrulesantihero7021 uhhh is there a problem?

I personally think that Isabelle's Fishing Rod should be a Comand Grab Like Incineroar's Or Ridley's Command Grabs, if it was a Command Grab Isabelle could have a few more redeeming factors
Nah fishing rod is fine, if they had it be a command grab it would actually be one of the best moves in the game due to only counterplay being stay out of its range. Its already good for edgeguarding and killing, it could have a bit less lag though imo. The difference between ridley, incineroar, etc. And isabelle is isabelles is a disjoint covering half the stage while the others have to get close. It would be nice but might have too little counterplay for some characters like mac and ganon
Hell no! Alolan Whip and Space Pirate Rush are already annoying! 😠
there is none. both are equally annoying as hell
Boo hoo
You say that but your main is game and watch 🤦♂️ he’s more annoying than ness
it's the funny factor that counts for me. ness isn't funny. gnw is
I literally can't play as Isabelle, I'm so used to the Villager
But I still try because Oh my goodness she's so cute!
Wow is love these viedeos sooo much hope you do more of them ! Greetings from germany
Greetings!
i love the whats the difference series
