It's more or less a programmable stream deck with less functionality, less buttons displayed at once, at a higher price point. Only truly unique things it has going for it are the size and immediate icue space readouts if you wanted to monitor temp and load.
Bit of an offbeat comment, but I really enjoyed the quality and subtlety of your ads. I literally know I watched a couple of ads for seasonic and bequiet and it wasn't an annoyance in any way. Very well put together.
Responsiveness on the screen is at best debatable but it would be amazing for Corsair to release an API for widget development and enabling piping for more in-depth integration, its a shame that runs only with iCue on Windows because it seems a really good product for a launch pad and resource monitor

Thanks for presenting this device. I've been looking into such tool cause it's more convenient than a streamdeck especially when it comes about the price! I'll even consider buying a Corsair keyboard just to save a Usb slot (I use a laptop and they're pretty limited) and have the display just in the right spot. Good review. I would say that the video made the screen look a bit laggy but as you say it is very responsive it must be the UA-cam video. Price does put me off but I could see uses for this. Cheers Andy

Why the dislikes? Very informative video! Considering getting the K100 + Nexus instead of the Mountain Everest Max. Both are probably nice for content creators and professionals, but for gaming they still seem to border on gimmicky. But with the K100 at least I can be sure to get a top-end gaming KB and information on the possibilities of the touchscreen, unlike the Mountain stuff where not even support could tell me how it works, other than repeating from the official info, but in broken English.
It needs a "home screen" of some kind. Then I could put my most used there and then press an icon to go back there no matter what screen I was on. Or a sort of index mode where you can go to a listing say like for games, music, programs, etc. And then go to that section. Not want to have to keep swiping and eventually get to the screen I wanted.

The idea is not new. The pro version basically is the Elgato Stream Deck … this is a poor copy of it for non streamers … questionable if they try it again after this one failed big time …
Would be kind of cool to get this whole feature-set to an android tablet/phone that connect to icue the same was NEXUS. I can get some with AMD Link and when using Logitech products WITH Arx Control. Also it could be free(!!!) also :P
Outside of the temperature monitoring (hell, you might even manage that) you can probably set up most of these things using Streamdeck Mobile (25 dollars a year), Touch Portal (one time 12 dollar purchase for more screens) or Lioranboard (totally free)
Is this worth it if you have Razer products? Like would mouse DPI be able to be displayed somehow? Or are there others like this unit besides streamdeck
Can you play music through this screen? For example I like listening to music whilst gaming but sometimes I don't know what song is playing unless I Alt+Tab to check my Windows Media Player. Can I just have the song that is playing display on this unit?
Sadly you forgot to mention alot of small gripes about this lovely thing. 1 it ONLY comes in black, not white, I have the k70 Mk 2 SE...white. 2nd you cant assign screens to profiles!! I launch a game ex: ark, all my lighting and marco buttons switch automatically but my screen dont change with the profile, and last but not least IN SCREEN LAYERS! Ok so if you notice if you have something like a k70 Kb it has a volume sliding screen, meaning that there is a program in screen to allow layers, You tap volume and a slider appears, It would be nice to have the option to when I tap the screen I have more options under that button, Perfect example is in ARK Survival Evolved with tame groups. I was hoping to tap a button called groups then a new option screen appears with 5 tame groups and a back arrow to go back to my "main" screen.

This is one of those things you absolutly don`t need......BUT......still very nice to have. It will give your keyboard a more premium look and you have 1 thing extra to play with :P

At least it's an optional purchase. If you need it, you can buy it. For everyone else, you don't have to waste your money on it. Which is more than can be said for that LED bar thing on apple laptops.
This is close to what I’m looking for but what I’m really looking for and I think what a lot of people are looking for is what was shown on the Asus Zen book that little mini screen where you can set it up with macros and you can even do like a fourth screen combo with like a split screen in the mini monitor and stuff like people are looking like a combination of this with that mini monitor from the Asus Zen book and yet for some reason none of these big companies have picked up on that and decided to package that and make it for people who have their own PCs for some reason they’re just so sad to put it in their Zen book but I just don’t see why Jesus being a big company that they are don’t just package that for pc users too especially when their is a demand
nothing against the reviewer, but don't buy this. I originally wanted the nexus for the temp monitors. when I finally got it, the whole thing was garbage. plus, i ended up putting hwinfo on my stream deck and haven't looked back. unless corsair bundles this as a $40 add on to their keebs, i cant see a single reason to buy and keep this, especially at $100.
I'm disappointed with the quality of the screen on the Nexus, the viewing angles look awful, the bezels are huge for the size and that resolution is just bad for 2020. This will actually look like a downgrade on my K95 Platinum. I think the idea is good with decent software support (a bit like Apple's touch bar but better usability) but Corsair should have invested in a better screen. If they can release literally two RGB LED towers for £130, I'd rather they priced the Nexus at £130 but with a better screen.
This is a niche first gen product as far as I know there is nothing like it and Corsair will most likely release newer versions of it in the future ALSO 90% of people wouldn't care about the resolution and viewing angles as long as does what they want such as monitor temps, launch applications, work like a macro keypad like an Elgato Streamdeck and so on as well as have the ability to display custom gif's and other stuff. its not like you are watching a movie or something on it or playing a game on it where the actual resolution and viewing angles and response times matter too much to average consumer and although I do agree that the resolution is a little too low the other stuff about this keypad is either really really good or just good enough

Nothing new here; Logitech had this feature inbuilt into their keyboard almost 15 years ago -- on their G15. But, as much of how technology goes, some features are just way, way, ahead of their time.

The fact it was forced to be seen as a replacement to those keys made people who currently used those keys hate the touchbar by default. Versus if it was introduced as an extra feature that didn’t sacrifice any other features it wouldn’t feel like a downgrade to a lot of people.
If you ordered direct from Corsair directly forget it, they're so backed up with Covid. If you're buying anything Corsair right now, buy it from somewhere else.

This thing could be ideal for those who use OLED TV's and wish to turn off the HUD if it did display game stats.

Good review, i like it although would it not be better to pay a bit more for an Elgato streamdeck.
But on this one you can have as much as 200 pages, 6 buttons each. So you can easily access much more programs.

im looking to mount this upside down under my desk ledge, is there a way to turn the screens upside so when i view them the will be right side up
