You mean you didn't have that neat little arrangement with your parents or friends where you made a collect call from the payphone and they refused the call, then called you back? You even got the dime back lol
@@jordanhicks5131 most revolvers are still semiautomatic. Meaning each time they pulled the trigger, it fired. Granted they only got six shots, they didn’t have to cock the hammer back each time.
@@richardkranium2944 that's called double action. Semi auto means the gun recocks itself. So no, most revolvers are not "semi auto". They are double action. Because a trigger pull performs two actions: cocking the hammer and firing the gun. Semi autos come in 3 flavors: single action, double/single action, and striker fired. Single actions have to be manually cocked by pulling back the hammer or racking the slide. Double/single action can fire like a double action revolver where you can carry with the hammer down and a trigger pull will cock the hammer and fire the pistol. Striker fired have a spring powered striker instead of a hammer, these are like single actions in that the striker is cocked when you rack the slide and is only released when you pull the trigger.
In your reenactments, just a tip: the two agents in the motel wouldn’t sit with their backs to the door and window. I know it’s for dramatic effect and so the camera can film them, but just saying. As a former LEO, I had anxiety watching it 😅
So in the kidnapping case, the girl that lured the innocent boy and the man that shot him got away... absolute travesty! They are the main perpetrators imo! Anybody know if they eventually got caught?
Nicole Simpson would call LE after OJ would beat her & LE would get his autograph. Her best friend Kris slept with OJ instead of helping her get free of OJ. OJ stalked her & beheaded her & Ron. OJ got custody of their kids even. 😢
Got to love the attention to detail they used when making this episode. 01:35:17 they talk about the .223 cal rifle used in the attack on the cop, but the officer in the clip is holding up a 9mm - the magazine is way too small for a .223/5.56mm.
You do know that the majority of people who watch this show and others like it, have absolutely no clue about guns. Even a huge portion of the USA folk do not use guns or have them. And we've gotten rid of ours after the Tasmanian rampage after that everyone handed in their guns exept farmers and those who use them in sports( no hunting) We haven't had a mass shooting since. Exept for a farmer going mental on his own family that was it. Buuuuuutttt I do love knowledge and always try to guess what kind of gun is used...I 99%.fail in my observations😂 so thank you for that. I appreciate it.
Ohhh, I have a question because I don't understand it..what does the 5.56 mm or 9mm a 22 mm mean when they talk about guns and bullets. I always thought that 22 mm just meant it's 2 cm and 5 mm long bullet about an inch, but that makes no sense that would be a huge bullet let alone a 5,56 mm which translates to 5 metres and 5 cm and 6 mm bullets even if they meant 5 cm and 5 mm which makes the 6 a .06 mm 😂😂😂 see how that just doesn't work. Could you please explain this to me and other ignoramus.❤
@@Ainaes-Feline Great question!! The .223 or .556 is measure of the diameter of the bore in a rifle. Rifles have spiral grooves running down the barrel to make the bullet spin (for stability in flight). The groove part of that internal surface is called "rifling" and the now raised area is called "lands". The caliber measurement is how many 1/1000ths of an inch the opening in the barrel is from the top of the lands. 5.56 would be the metric equivalent. In the case of the .223 or 5.56mm we're talking about the ammunition used in the M16, M4, most AR clones, and Ruger ranch rifles. There are MANY .30cal (7.62mm) rifles in the world that are made by many countries, but not all .30cal rifles (or 7.62) fire the same ammunition. The main rifles America used in WW1 and WW2 were chambered for .30-06cal Ball ammo (the ball notation just denoted a full metal jacket bullet). It's also known as 7.62x63mm. The original AK-47 mas chambered for 7.62x39mm. Both rifles use the same diameter bullet (technically bore), but the second number (in mm) denotes the overall length of the casing (not the full cartridge). There is no way you could fit a .30-06 cartridge into an AK-47 or vice-versa as the casings would not allow the cartridge to chamber. (Basically that means the brass part of the cartridges are to differently shaped and have very different lengths so that neither could fit in the very form fitting chamber where the cartridge is fired from.)
@@Ainaes-Feline In my state we have hunting and most homes have at least one firearm in the rural areas, which is most of my state. The major cities have a lot of firearms and actually have the worst firearm crime compared to the much more firearm owning rural areas. So one has to ask if the social environment is more to blame for the gun crime than the guns themselves. Chicago has very strong gun control laws, but they still have horrible gun crime (and crime in general to be honest). Most of the gunfire you'd hear in the rural areas (near me) are a farmer shooting coyotes or feral pigs or just target shooting, but go into one of those population centers and every time you hear a report you know someone is trying to harm someone else. If you're fine with turning in your arms then that is your choice. In my state if we don't control the whitetail deer population we have 1 of every three auto accidents this time of year caused by a car hitting a deer during the breeding season (called the "rut"). Beside that, a lot of us here shoot the deer, turkeys, and small game for food and in the case of deer and turkeys we protect the corn and soybean crops for farmers . . . and that helps the ethanol and vegan food industries as well as making sure the farmers can even stay in business. Meanwhile we have drunk drivers who cause nearly a fair percentage of the accidents in our state, but I don't see politicians demanding we turn in our cars to stop drunk driving. Believe it or not there are as many people killed in the US annually by DUIs as there are by firearms (that includes accidental shootings). That number actually comes from the US federal government. Even one of our Attorneys General was a DUI in a state owned vehicle.
"Allen Masters was at home, babysitting their young daughter" After he's killed her & 2 people leave with her to dispose of her body; "Masters stays home with his daughter" Why is it that when a mother is home with her child(ren) it's she was home with her child(ren). But every single time a father is the 1 home with his kids, he's babysitting. Yet when a couple gets divorced people don't say he's babysitting his kid(s). They say it's his weekend to have his kid(s). And in the event he gets custody, then he gets sympathy for being a single father & people offer him all kinds of help from offers to babysit for him to hand me downs. Why is it men are only considered to be parenting their child when their mother is no longer there on a daily basis to do everything? Even now, in 2023 that is how it gets worded.
1:06:15 Minutes after a shot is fired at a cop, they locate the car used, which was stolen 5 days ago. Why couldn't you find it in 5 days for the owner, when you can find it in a FEW MINUTES when a cop is shot at? *_MAYBE_* if you'd have used the same effort to find it for the owner THIS guy wouldn't have had it to use to shoot at a cop, or rob a gas station, or rob a bank, or...............!!!

Same I watch one episode and sleep through 2
love this channel
Hi,from Chicago South Side!
I disagree
That bank robber killing two law enforcement personnel was a crappy ending. I've always remembered that case.
Even the woman almost had them outgunned.
Where did the gun come from???
As an insignificant person that tries to do what's right I find this video terrifying
No one is insignificant!

You're off the case, McGarnagle!!
Thank you!!!! Praying Angels around you…. Smiley 😊
I remember Meeting Tyson when I use to be at every Drive Thru / victory/ tooth and Nail shows on the West Coast 2003-2009 . It was at 05 warp tour I hung out with Him we walked around watching our favorite new up coming bands . He is one of the most genuine kind caring nice person I ever met. Rest in peace Tyson
He's NOT dead yet. His daughter is.
I don't know how this happened probably cuz the video was switching when I was leaving a comment but this comment was meant for a different video for a lead singer from scary kids scaring kids . His name is Tyson
What a series man love from 🏴
I wish I could hear the narrator over the horrendous, aggravating, nasty music. The story's what's important, not this cacophanous, raucous NOISE.
O WAAAAH 🙄🤢
Wanna know a secret??? YOUR NOT perfect EITHER 😂 NOBODY is
Susan is trying very hard to sound smart😂😂😂
Great video! I have watched most, if not all, and read everything available about families
These are great documentaries its just a shame they shame that irritating music in them that can be so bad you cant here the narration
Shout out to the windy city chi town
thanks youtube for puting this video on for the 10,000th time .....
I remendar those payphone days. Ugh. Trying to find one, then find one that actually worked, then having a shit ton of change. Hanging around hoping the person would answer. It'd always be a friggin' thunderstorm or a blizzard. I don't know how we managed. 😂
You mean you didn't have that neat little arrangement with your parents or friends where you made a collect call from the payphone and they refused the call, then called you back? You even got the dime back lol
Man,,,!! ain't nothing more dangerous than a man who's not afraid to die 👌🙏 smh
Great video thanks for the demonstration.
Rest in peace Jim kallstrom
I didn't know Jim had died. So sorry. RIP Jim.
@@mariaorourke5236 yes hi died in 2021, but so many peoples watching this crime show didn’t know he died 2 years ago july 03 2021/ aged 78 years old
He was one of the agents involved in NYC mob cleanup
Damn.. That why I don’t hear his voice anywhere any more.. Rip Jim
Who killed Jim kallstrom
Thanks ! I wasn’t aware of THE NEW DETECTIVES. Let me go grab a snack 😹
This show really likes to say semiautomatic for dramatic purposes. In reality most handguns are semiautomatic.
Back when a lot of these cases happened that wasnt the case, most law enforcement still carried revolvers in the 80s and 90s
@@jordanhicks5131 you are most likely correct. My definition is flawed.
Even if this guy said "musket loader" it would sound dramatic
🇮🇪 very good upload
*RIP JIM KALLSTROM*
Amen 😢
The bearded bandit is a top episode with all the planning for both parties, you could feel them closing in.
Don't let them break you. We will have your back. We respect you and believe in you.
You mean the GOP ? Trying to take funding from this exact part of the government??
Yes i agree 🙃
Worth watching. Entertaining
Jim Kallstrom talks like the guy from Faces of death💯💀😂
Yeah man! I’m BACK to my old standby since 2016-excellent!
I especially like the narrator: calm, intense, and superbly nuanced inflections.
Engaging!
Doing crimes from inside the prison shows that isn't hard enough in there for this guys.
They should be alone in a dark wet-cell 24/7.
No I didn't yet 😂😂😂
@@bunney73 😅 bloody psycho 😂
Hope so but no word yet
Yep they all got caught and are in jail.
None of them have consciences? I'd think she would but I watch too much Disney I guess. Scared of CHICAGO!
Fantastic job with the shore council mind games
This lady tried to help others ,its a shame she couldn't help herself,by getting out of her marriage to a wife beater.

When the FBI were the good guys.
"Allen Masters was at home, babysitting their young daughter"
After he's killed her & 2 people leave with her to dispose of her body;
"Masters stays home with his daughter"
Why is it that when a mother is home with her child(ren) it's she was home with her child(ren).

Minutes after a shot is fired at a cop, they locate the car used, which was stolen 5 days ago.
