I think this part and the part right before it where the orchestra goes quiet and the piano is spotlighted would be one of the most difficult parts of the whole concerto. Everyone is holding their breath for this part. You can NOT miss a single note or it’s ruined
It's pretty easy.
@@Zdanler its pretty easy
@@gigabyte6299 easy to play but not in front of an audience
People saying it's easy don't understand that the music is more than the notes you're playing.
yep, some key signatures have lots of sharps and flats! hard to master beautifully when under pressure.
Playing this part piano only is the most romantic thing in the world, like begging for a violinist to play along…
Since I'm Russian- I get asked this all the time, but people always ask me who my favorite Russian composer is- and it's 100% Rachmanioff, he knows how to put stories into the music he makes and it's just beautiful music, but this piece will always be my favorite. :)
I'm not russian. But i adore his music. And Scriabin.
Don't forget Shostakovich
Not Felix Blumenfeld? 😍😍😍
How Russia went from breeding the best composers to becoming a terrorist state is beyond me. I feel bad for the Russians who had so much to be proud of their history in arts
@sam08g16 they literally excel in anything that has have to do with the arts, figure skating, ballet, music etc.❤❤❤

Duh
The left hand arpeggios with these beautiful chords are so simple yet so beautiful and romantic 😭❤️
The 2-nd concert is just amazing! soo expressive!Even piano solo without Orchestra sounds very beautiful
Beautiful piece, beautifully played. I'm so happy to have discovered Rachmaninoff. I never knew he had this deep, reflective, romantic side.
This part always makes me cry
It’s a good medicine for sure.

A rejection song
"I can't call you baby like you want me to"-lyn lapid
She used the melody in her song called 'Like you want me to'
I listened to the song THATS actually really cool. Thank you
This is the most beautiful, exquisite, elegant and most emotional piece i have heard. Calms me down so much
sooo beautiful, i will play the ending part of rachmaninoffs 2nd piano concerto soon. This melody is just gorgeous, and you played it perfectly!!❤
I can’t read music.. so this is a GREAT help on me being able to learn this beautiful section! Thank you so much for your incredible rendition!
The first thing you need to do before learning this concerto is learn to read music ffs 😅
@@TyrannicToe56I mean not necessarily with platforms like tiktok and UA-cam having videos like these it makes it easy for people who didn’t learn music from young to play piano, I’m self taught, 6 years playing piano and I can play moonlight sonata 3rd movement and cannot read music, not everyone can learn music🤷♂️
@@zakkux8867 bro not being able to read music is a major handicap, it’s a shameful handicap to have not something to be proud of.
Why would you NOT learn how to read music? That’s like refusing to be literate and opt for audio books and videos all your life instead. That’s INSANE and STUPID.
If you can’t read music, go back and learn something from Grade 1 piano ffs. You gave yourself a STUPID HANDICAP and boasted about it jesus christ.
@@TyrannicToe56 quit gatekeeping. what's important is people are able to convey the same emotions that Rachmaninoff intended the piece to show
@@jenbi7775 lmfao how do you play the piece as the author intended if you can't even read what he wrote???
jfc just use your brain for once
Music is just a question and an answer everyone’s question is different the whole song your thinking of the answer then 1:46 it’s suddenly worth living again. Goosebumps everytime music just makes life better
ah man i envy your giant hands, perfect for rachmoninoff!
The way you did this was amazing. I didn't expect to hear this.
What a beautiful piece and video.❤

love this part 1:42
Everyone does
Probably one of the greatest moments in music.
@@pxlz0729 The entire concerto represents one of the greatest moments in music history in my opinion. The powerful march from the 1st movement around the 6th minute, the endings of both the 2nd and 3rd movements - they all contribute to its greatness. I first heard this concerto 4 years ago, but every time I return to it, I am convinced that I still have not found something that causes me so many emotions. Except, probably, primal aspids
@@Galaxzierthis was the least likely place I thought I’d ever see someone mention primal aspids, but as always they are unescapable. Everywhere I go… primal aspid
