- Lately I was playing Pokémon Platinum and I've got some legendaries and a shiny Pokemon. I had to transfer them to my 6th gen games so I've recorded my experience with the transfer process and wanted to share.
I wish we could just send gen 4 mons straight to poke transporter

And Sword
I kinda want to get every single main game of pokemon and beat each one
But that takes time and money which i dont have very much of ;-;
Literally the only clear and easy to understand video on UA-cam I could find, to understanding this absolute mess of a process to transferring Pokémon from older gen games to latest.

How do you connect to the internet on the ds lite doesn't it require a WEP Key? Or is that only for online interactions with friends from far away?

Okay, I own and pair of 3DS consoles. I play dp on one and bw on the other. Can i still transfer dp pokemon to bw or do i need to own a DS? I must know.

That depends on whether their legal or not.
Sometimes they pass the checker, sometimes they don't (depends on how "legit" you make them seem). Event Pokemon are more difficult in my experience--it took me forever to generate a passable Darkrai.

Ren nope. You can do the same with D/P/PT and HG/SS. I did the same thing With Heart gold and it worked.

Can't you just put the pokemon from gen 7 to bank again and then transfer it back to gen 6 if you want to transfer them back from 7 to 6?
When you try that the pokemon will be highlighted white and it won't let you drop them into the Geb 6 games. It's a pain.
