I know this video is old but it's worth noting that you get 10 QR scans a day and changing your system clock will freeze the timer for those scans to reset for a couple of days. I thought I would be cheeky and try to get all the gen 1 starters in the same day but this happened. No big deal just wait a few days or if it is almost Friday when you want to do this then just do in over the few days as they become available. In my eyes, the gen 1 starters and the OG and the best...always.
I could wipe you out go on Pokemon y and transfer your venisour to sun to y if you want venisour on Pokemon sun back save beforehand look for someone named BRANDEN and fight them 1 on 1

I got all the starters of every generation through GTS (and then completed the Pokedex of Alola through GTS, too). It's much faster than this + they level up super fast because they're traded Pokemons (and also breed super fast).

For generatio 2 you use the scaner in meleme: friday chikorita in route 2, Sunday Cyndaquil in route 3, monday totodile in Seaward Cave. For generation 5 in poni island: Thurdays Serperior in Exeggutor Island, Fridays Samurott in Poni Wilds, and finally saturday emboar in Ancient Poni Path.

this is easy just get pokemon bank and restart ur game every time thats what i did to get all my starters from all regions( i got bulbasuar and squirtle from gts)
