Africa Twins Summit Mosquito Pass in Colorado - Exit Tours MC / Divide Ride 23'

In this video, James and I are leaving Leadville Colorado with the intent to summit Mosquito Pass, (13,185 ft), on large full Liter Adventure bikes.

I usually did the Fairplay->Leadville route. Tough, but doable. Nice video.

nice job! hae done this rout many times on a mtn bike and jeep! I see trail bbikes on it often and commend them for navifgating the thousands of large rocks throughout! I was wondering how you made out on the final 1/3rd downhill section on the Alma side as that section to me seems virtually unridable for about a 1/4 mile.

We could not get thru to Alma because of snow. We had to descend the route we climb back into Leadville

Yep. It was very steep. Videos usually don’t portray it, but the incline coupled with grip at times made it very difficult. Glad I did it… but it’s small bike for me next time.
