Work, Learn and ADVenture ON is a UA-cam channel that was created in an attempt to make my primary WORK mobile, LEARN new skill sets in filming and editing and ADVenture out from home on my 2017 Honda Africa Twin while still being responsible.
Why I make videos. The YouTube Channel Overview
In this video, I try to give you an understanding of my Channel overview. Making interesting UA-cam Videos that will engage people is challenging. After picking a niche, I have questioned whether I have a good story to tell. I have also wondered whether it will reach people that share my interest in Adventure Motorcycle riding.

My heartbeat within when I ride an adventure motorcycle. Dual sports bike are too small to pack for a long weekend. Adventure bikes allow you to ride heavy, unpack and get off-road. All video editing done with DaVinci Resolve. Self taught DaVinci Resolve free version. GoPro videos, Smart phone videos, Hover air videos

Do you have GPX tracks of this ride please ? We ride a lot south west of Harrison, but I like the off road sections you show. Dean
This trip is either annual and 2x per year. We always camp at shores lake and plan each day on how we feel. Stationed at shores lake allows for many options either on road or off….so I don’t really have files.
That last shot looked pretty dicey! Great video, I think I might head down there in a couple of weeks if I can get my friend to join me.

Yep. It was very steep. Videos usually don’t portray it, but the incline coupled with grip at times made it very difficult. Glad I did it… but it’s small bike for me next time.

nice job! hae done this rout many times on a mtn bike and jeep! I see trail bbikes on it often and commend them for navifgating the thousands of large rocks throughout! I was wondering how you made out on the final 1/3rd downhill section on the Alma side as that section to me seems virtually unridable for about a 1/4 mile.
We could not get thru to Alma because of snow. We had to descend the route we climb back into Leadville
Do you have an extra clutch lever? I’ve had two offs like that and the clutch lever didn’t survive either one - even with the Bark Busters. You want to consider a roll top duffle instead of the top box. You can place the duffle a little lower and closer to the center of the bike where the mass is centralized. Just a thought. Which BDR do you plan on doing? I’m hoping to do IDBDR this summer, we’ll see if that pans out. Ride safe !!
Thanks for the feedback. I keep brake and clutch pretty loose with the Zeta handguards. Also I think the panniers kept bike up off handlebars. Good insight on duffle. Wyoming or Colorado BDR is the plan.

Thanks for the feedback. On the crash, I was picking up speed on the decent and when I downshifted; I went into neutral escalating the speed. Drop off on side was steep and low side was best option. Bike was still running after crash. I shut it down with kill switch.
