The only chills I'm feeling are from imagining that sandwich in my hands, haha! Nice variation on the classic vegan tuna salad. I will definitely make this. Really enjoying your videos. Love the casual vibe and humour. Thank you both!
Dulse...great product. Doctor recommended it for a natural way to get iodine into my diet. This just gave me an idea for fake meat for my hubby using vital wheat gluten. Time to experiment.
Can you do a tuna casserole?
OMG opened a tin of this today to top a pizza, and was just saying to my daughter that this would be lovely as 'tuna' on jacket potato. Oh and yes, I am British. (We eat all kinds with baked potato!)
Great minds think alike :)
Wow Iam going to try this with my new Jack fruit, looks yummy, looks so genuine. 😋🙃😇
Perfect, I just got my first jar of dulse flakes/powder from Thrive Market. Now I have a recipe to use it on other than the usual chickpeas. Thanks!
Yummy . I'm enjoying this veganuary. Could you please give the link for the algae oil you used to sauteed jackfruit. Also , could you use this as a replacement for saltfish? I have carribean roots. Love you ladies. Thanks from East Texas Tyler.
Good idea...
I will boil the jackfruit with a little lemon juice to lessen that jackfruit flavor. I am also going to add some little cubes of tofu (extra or super firm) that has been marinated with a little black salt (kala namak) for boiled egg whites.
That's a great idea! Enjoy!
Amazing. I'm doing it
Wonderful!
I’ve just recently discovered your channel and enjoy your videos. Just curious why you never respond or answer questions
Thank you so much for watching and enjoying our videos. I'm very sorry that we don't respond very often to comments. The reason is that there just isn't enough time in the day. We have two other youtube channels, I have an adult son with autism, an elderly mom that I'm helping out and I've had some health issues I'm dealing with now as well. Whenever there is a lull in the action though I try to respond to some - thanks again for watching :)
Hi guys. Have you ever tried the pre flavored tofu ?
👍
Looks yummy- do you take the seeds out of the jackfruit?
No need. It’s a young jackfruit and the seeds are small and soft. Kinda like cucumbers you don’t need to worry about the seeds.
On the ingredient list did you list the actual base of what you used for “tuna”? I watch at work so maybe I missed that. Is it tofu?
It's a can of Jackfruit
Where did you purchase the dulse?
Andi Jackson I purchase mine at my local whole foods store or natural grocers. I live in East Texas Tyler. Good luck.
Thank you.
