There are no words to describe how much i love you right now. I had a short amount of time to learn how to analyse my semantic differential survey on excel and this video has save my life. If you are ever in London, England let me know and i shall buy you a drink!!
As bad as 2020 has been, this was a bright spot! Couldn't find the words I needed to even search for what I needed. I simply adore this and it's more than 6 years old ;o)
Honestly everyone in the comments has said what im feeling right now THANK YOU this video was excellent and met all my needs (8 YEARS LATER) still very relevant
This is too gud to be true. Ur communication speed, ur crystal clear voice, ur amazing skills in Excel......simply incredible! LIke this video. Thanks a million for sharing. Luv ya.
Your very good, thank you. Your helping me with my internship evaluation forms for an event! I love people that teach on UA-cam, you do us all a great service!
WOW!!!! Thank you soooooo much! I just started a new job last week and got a project yesterday to do analytics on a survey that was completed online and paper and this has helped me BIG TIME! BOOM! THANK YOU!!! :-) SMOOCHES!!! LOL
I cannot tell you how happy I am to have found your channel! I have so much data from surveys, I honestly felt lost. Hope you can answer this but How would you add customers' comments to a report?
Thanks! I've got two resources for you: (1) This blog post shows how I kept the full responses. These were paper surveys, that were scanned, and I took screenshots of the scanned images. I wanted to keep the handwriting, which made it feel personal and human, instead of just typing up the responses. depictdatastudio.com/workshop-evaluation-results/ (2) Here's a video I made for a friend's channel about visualizing qualitative data with colored phrases: ua-cam.com/video/PCgFntGjglo/v-deo.html
Hi Ann. Thank you so much for the video. It's great. I have one question for you. How did you create the Finished Product! Sheet? I assume they change as your Data sheet changes?
Hi Ann, thanks for the amazing video. i would like to know how you would have calculated category questions eg. Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, Q5 belongs to one category then Q6, Q7, Q8, Q9, Q10 belongs to another category then you find out what percentage of the population sample size in each category answered strongly agree, agree, neutral, disagree, and strongly disagree? or How do I combine 8 questions into one variable?
hi An im wondering what statistical method should i used for these same kind of problem. your video tutorial are really awesome but what is statistical formula.
Hi Ann, Did you notice in your video that the totals did not add up to 44 under each question although all questions were answered. Can you please explain this because am having similar issue right now.
it helped me for my thesis. but can I ask how can we use the data/information in getting the weighted mean for Frequency and Percentage Distribution Table?
hi! i'm currently working a research paper analyzing satisfaction of a customer. i would like to ask, what formula do use for this survey? Your data analysis perhaps? your answer is much appreciated 😁😁😁
Hi, I input my data by numbers instead of text. Example 1 instead of strong disagree as in your video. Can you tell me how to change those number into text like yours. Thanks
I have an important question. If I had mixed items on a sale should I do the percentage after I recoded the responses` or before?? I did the former where I collocated the percentage after recoding the negative items.
Hi Ann, Thanks for the helpful video! I have a similar situation like S Yang below (comments from 4 months ago) but with different teachers. Is there a way to use Pivot tables (with the same method mentioned in this video) to compare and sort survey data for different teachers?
Hi Rayan, Good question. I started a Patreon page (www.patreon.com/annkemery) to answer requests like these. Check it out and let me know if you're interested. Thanks, Ann Emery
You make fantastic videos, thank you. My question is how do you do this with "mark all that apply" questions? In other words, how do you analyze multiple responses with the 'countif' function?
hi, what if i add the respondent, that will be continuous calculating? please help me..when i add my respondent i didnt change anything..or do i really do the form and table?
Can you tell me how you make the drop down(?) Respondent, Q1, Q2, Q3, etc.. ? I take it the questions are "hiden" behind it? Or could you email me the layout? I just subscribed.
please, how did you do that, i want to enter my questionnaire data on excel that i'm really stuck, my questionnaire is a Five Point Likert Scale and has 20 items. please help me.
Hi, I am working on Employee Engagement Survey. Can you help me find the Employee Engagement score or Employee Engagement Index (formula) calculation on a Likert scale? I would be extremely grateful. Thanks
Hi Abdul, I offer 1:1 consultations here: depictdatastudio.com/coaching/ It's more cost-effective to sign up for a group training though. This is our data analysis course: depictdatastudio.teachable.com/p/simple-spreadsheets-full-course Or, let me know if you'd like a referral to a trusted colleague. Cheering for you!!
I have one sheet with full data and one with part .I wish to find out whole order numbers from part list (2) on full list, and to transfer the information of second column called "Rex Po number" to the column in first page with same name. Part of the data already exist (my orders numbers), but rex po number doesn't. Takes too long time to be manually. I wish to be colored-each number of order and also all rex po number to get transferred, all in once if is possible.
Hi Horace, what type of coding? If you mean taking the raw, unedited dataset and cleaning it (looking for outliers, looking for duplicates, re-coding some values, etc.), then yes! I have an entire 8-hour course that covers these skills and more that you might like. depictdatastudio.teachable.com/
Yes, you will get the same result with pivot tables. The difference is that pivot tables would take longer because you'd need to create a new table for each survey question (so about 20 tables, versus one basic countifs formula).
Hi Zamzam, the dollar sign is on my keyboard above the "4." Keyboards are slightly different in different countries though. Where are you based? In the US or somewhere else? I've taught workshops in Europe, South America, and Africa, and sometimes I have trouble finding the symbols I need on other keyboards. Let me know if you find it.
Hi Ann. Thanks for your videos. I have a question about multiple choices questions Wondering how I should enter the data on excel for processing on spss. The problem is with the way I am coding the answers. Not sure if I should enter 1/0 or number 1 though 5 (in case of 5 possible answers) Also, for yes/no questions... should I create two columns and enter 0 (didn’t respond) 1(responded)? Hope the questions is clean. Thanks advance
