Some of these scenes become hilariously fitting like the one at 3:46 where Halsey first questions the sightings of Zealot-class elites but looks very convinced when an actual elite tells their shield strenght matched.
Maybe I’m just being too emotional or goofy, but if this were an official mode, Keyes referring to your Elite as a Spartan would be a super fulfilling character arc from outsider to hero

@@theenderdestruction2362 They probably cut Elite 6 into pieces- probably the same with noble 6 as a spartan-, but whoever did so probably died in the attempt, we know they later find -just- the helmet/head. So their probably busy stitching themselves back together in a cave somewhere.

well, that did happened, arbiter stopped delta halo, and that was at the momment the only hope for survival
The ending hits harder when you see the elite head. I like to imagine he lost a camera attached to his armor during the fight and still kept going, fighting his brothers till the very end.
When it was over, they left his body behind as punishment. He'd receive no honor, no sign of remembrance, only his armor and his body would stay his feet. He'd be left behind when the Great Journey began. To his people, a traitor, to the UNSC, an enemy used as a means to an end, but to the people of Reach and those he fought beside, a hero that gave everything to save the Demon.
I like the image instead that he tore off his own head and started fighting like the dude was so FUKCING done with the convents bullshit that he tore off his head and kept fighting till the glassing finally took him, it be even funnier if that the glassing wasn't going to happen but because he just rampaged they glass the planet to get rid of what I'm going to call "the devil"

Never realized noble 6 took Kat's magnum, but the elite taking it for some reason made it look a lot more obvious.
The backstory of this elite would be interesting as hell. I can already think of a plot to this-imagine say an elite from halo 3 managing to be time traveled to the fall of Reach. He already knows the lie of the Great Journey and survived the great schism of Halo 2. Being a grizzled veteran he tries to convince the Elites during the invasion of Reach that this genocide of humans is stupid. The Elites at that time being obviously delusional, bring him to say Long Night of Solace so this “heretic” can be judged by zealots for execution. But this veteran elite-of unknown rank or armor kills everyone in the room and steals one of the dead zealot’s armor. Using the active camo he escapes the ship stealing idk a seraph flying to the nearest human base-that being sword base. Being able to speak English unlike the rest of the covenant dialect in the base game, he was able to convince ONI section 3 after many days of intense interrogation that he is in fact on the UNSC’s side. He did this via showing ancient Forerunner tattoos that the ONI spooks researched on like a reclaimer tattoo on the elites left upper arm and the mark of shame on his chest for example. Knowing how much of a VIP this elite is to humanity: ONI convinces NOBLE Team to let this elite into their group after some really heavy persuading by ONI Section 3. The Covenant after learning of this new elite who murdered a group of Zealots are pissed and the hierarchs are scared shitless knowing the lie as well in secret. Being egotistical assholes, the hierarchs put a hit on this “fake” zealot elite to anyone able to kill him. Thus the extreme hostility to this specific elite. Though he proved himself to the humans saving The Demon from death. The covenant’s fury was too much for him to handle and eventually he died by the same rank he donned as his zeal to fight against the bigotry of the Covenant. A zealot elite. Both beautiful and ironic. If only Bungie did this. I’d play that campaign all the time. 10/10 story if Bungie did that.

@@michaelkorenberg1313 yeah halo is definitely one of those franchises that suck you into their lore, happens to me all the time, and the elites gotta be on the top 10 for most iconic aliens in video games no doubt, and their rendition in reach is just perfect, they really made these guys justice by making them fucking overpowered, it's such a worthy enemy
The Covenant were surprised to see that their Number 6 was a Sangheli, so were the Humans in the UNSC and Noble Team. It caused quite a giant stir within the higher-ups in The Covenant. They thought that the Great Schism has begun. Perhaps, it did. It already began the moment they conquered Reach, becoming the Covenant's undoing, and their beliefs. Maybe this is what the black ink was about. Both sides hid this information well. But when the dusts settles, both arms lowered, questions will be answered through shattered glass.
I wish we got playable Elites in Infinite.
Also EA blamed Halo Infinite for ShatterField 2042's failure lmao, here's a MGSV Moai 🗿for all the winners out there.

Oh man, actually have a DLC set between 1 and 2 where you play as the Heretic leader and work with Guilty Spark trying to clean up remnant Flood and fight off strike teams sent by the Prophets until eventually Arbiter shows up.

Try this with a brute now. It'll either look slightly better since they have human ish (closer than an elite) body structure, or itll have his arms inside his torsos the entire time since they're so much bigger

Interesting that Carter looks directly at the Elite's head instead of just some pre-defined position in the start cutscene. That's some slick coding.

**Jun sits down**
Carter: "Looks like Oni wants to take our elite friend here for a test drive. I say we indulge."
6: "WORT WORT WORT!"
**6 Runs out jumping in the pelican on standby**
Kat: "The hell was that?"
Jorge: "Rally cry, I'm guessing"
Carter: "Alright noble, let's move out!"
I don't know. I just thought it'd be fun to write some dialogue for if 6 was a Sangheili.

Seeing the elites fight each other at the end was pretty cool. I love heretic elites who've broken free of the Covenant so much
Now I want a Halo game where you are a rogue elite fighting along humans, could be in covenant era or banished era, but how cool would that be?
I’ve always been of the mind that they should’ve canned Spartan Ops and made a Halo 3: ODST style game out of Infinity.
And if I’m getting full wish fulfillment, a hybrid Spartan and Elite (loyal to Arbiter’s faction) team deployed on a joint op to eliminate the Storm faction or remaining Covenant loyalists would be dope.
I’d say have it start before 4 and kinda coincide with that game’s events before using the Spartan Ops story ending where you destroy Requiem. Of course, add in that you take out the Elite dude (M’dama I think his name was?) that dies on the first mission of 5.
And hell, use _that_ to introduce Locke so he can have a game where he can have some development and not just be an obstacle before getting thrashed around. Ya know, give him a chance to be a character instead of a one note joke.

A high ranking elite who got captured, revealed all the intel he has about the covenant, and because of his disillusionment, knows that he would never be let back into his former faction without being killed. So why not join ONI, take out a few insurrection and covee bases before being redeployed to the front, Reach. Not knowing that it would be the end of his career, but one that would be remembered by both factions regardless.
After all these years, just noticing Kat's helmet isin't worn properly when she dies.
You can see her skin at the back of her neck when she puts on her helmet on the elevator (8:28). No wonder her shields weren't up what a noob

@@guitar_jero how does chief survive halo 2's glassing then? If it did take away shields, he would've melted in his Miolnir when the glassing beam was behind him. No, the armor became EMP resistant after that operation where Blue Team was rescued by Kurt during an Insurrection op. It's more likely that A) her helmet wasn't secured as stated by OP so the shields hadn't started come on, or B) because she had just put on her helmet, the system itself hadn't yet calibrated (they suit has to check itself before it turns the shields on) and the shields hadn't had enough time to charge before the shot was fired.

@@swimmerofage2148 other possibility is that masterchief armor it was more advanced, anyways in lore masterchief just got shields in reach a little before that it falls, so maybe, maybe, reach don't work really nice with canon (thxs bungie)

After all these years I finally notice Kat’s helmet wasn’t sealed. It was just placed, you can see her neck in the elevator. No seal, no shields. That’s incredible attention to detail
It makes sense now because I never understood how she could've had a needle in her helmet and die like that

@@patoconzapatos I think it’s moreso that it’s sad and everyone dies. It’s more fitting to a realistic war story than the trilogy itself. But it’s also what sparked humanity’s comeback and Master Chief’s story, the one we all grew to adore.

To make it just a little bit better do the Halo CE voicelines thing, grab the existing voicelines, play them backward on a lower pitch with the effects we're used to from elites.

I would love that they wpuld make a DLC or another game where you're an Elite that reveled and decided to work with the UNCS (Not like the Arbiter). Where you would costum your Elite as well, but you start as an Elite that fights against the humanity, until a Spartan saves you or smth, and that makes you change your mind and decide to join them (but also include that the UNCS doesn't trust you). Kinda like this mod, but with it's own story and etc

Might just be me, but I personally like how this slightly changes your playstyle, such as not being able to use health packs, but health slowly regenerates to full no matter what.

His armor looks cramped/stretched. The mod is good but need more polish. The elite just looks clumsy sometimes. I also wish the voice was deeper. Mainly since it fits a human much better than an elite.
General, can you do anything with Thomas Lasky's AI in Halo 4's Reclaimer mission? Maybe try to get him to hold weapons or get into vehicles?
