Hindupur, a town 100kms from Bengaluru, in Andhra Pradesh, dotes on its sandwich, a derivative of the Mumbai bread and veggies affair. In Bengaluru, Hari Super Sandwich, has adapted the Hindupur sandwich to its own style with customised breads, a special spicy chutney and secret spice mix, the recipe for which is zealously guarded, in a medley of combinations that range from the expected chilli cheese toast to eclectic american sweet corn, chipotle mayo, and the wacky but popular chocolate sandwich! I taste five of their sandwiches to find out what makes this chain of sandwich shops such a rage in the city.
American Corn Sandwich
A texture-rich sandwich, with the sweet pop of the corn and the moist crunch of capsicum and onion. The bread is toasted just right to hold within it the creaminess of the cheese and the stuffing. You can taste the aromatic flavour of the spice powder mix and the fervour of garlic.

Along with Sandwich, Hindupur is famous for all kind of tasty Chat foods. Do try Bengalurians. It's just 2 hours drive.
One can plan a trip to famous Lepakshi Temple in the day and visit Hindupur evening for tasting all kind of snacks. which is just 15 kms away. And return back to Bengaluru in the night.

It really does cost ₹40 for any sandwich. Brought 3 sandwiches from here today and total bill was ₹120. Hard to believe imo. Of course, the fillings were a bit less than represented here and I was in a different branch (commercial street), but man was the chocolate sandwich a delight!

Big Fan of Mr Kripal's way of describing the food , and also the choicest usage of adjectives. I always like the way he not just reviews the food , but also gets a peak into the history of each eatery he visits. Example , in this video , he painstakingly listens to the hindupur story etc.

Being a Mumbaikar just like you, sandwich is a part of our lifestyle in terms of FF eating(quick snack). But Bangalore had the simple tradition of making sandwiches in a big triangle bread, over a period of time CoolJoint started it and it became popular in the vicinity. Youth and shoppers used to eat there and take parcel from there until other competition began. But what Hari super sandwich stated with them is not just a yummy sandwich but other yummy snack which normally you would find in small juice cum fas food joints in Mumbai.
But this is a purely sandwich shop not a road side thela.

Everytime when in Jayanagar
this is my favourite go to place, That chocolate sandwich is one of the best sandwich from hari sandwich.
U should have tried cheese chilli dahi sandwich there. 9 years ago when I discovered this place when it was a single outlet, dahi n chocolate is what made this outlet unique.
When I travelled to Bengaluru, I went to this place and had 5 of their sandwiches at once. The chilli cheese and chocolate sandwiches are a must have over there.
One should learn detailing food in such a proper way from kripal sir .. Hats off sirji 👍👍

Hari super sandwich has come a long way. Hari started this venture with a small space taken from a tailor shop back in 2007 and now has grown immensely. Hari was patient enough to wait for customers to try his sandwich and with his patience and efforts didn’t go in vein and his sandwich and chats were successful. His customers were basically school students from BHSS and community centre and also college students and now people of all age groups visit to eat sandwiches
Started eating sandwich since 2007 and since then it never stopped me from going there.
I haven't tried at their Jaynagar outlet, but after watching the video today just tried at their Hampi Nagar (RPC Layout) outlet paneer chilli and Chocolate sandwich it was below average.

Next to this outlet of hari super sandwich, on the right is another shop who sells Karnataka style chaat items. Must try the Congress masala, nippat masala and bhel puri there!

Kripal 1 Q.. Do u tnk u get extra cheese and corn or an extra mutton piece(Anand Dum Biryani) just because u are there to review food and indirectly make the place famous? Also do u tnk u get served much quicker at these places? Asking this because I have noticed the service/Quantity we get and what we c on your channel.
Sometimes I get recognised and some establishments may do a little extra. But I usually see through it when I look around, and try not to let it influence my evaluation. In some cases, where it is obvious, I even mention it, like in the case of extra mutton pieces at Anand.
