I think what really makes Michael brilliant is that he's such an acute observer of people. All the little things we say and do each day, but he makes it hilarious.

I think Michael is so appealing because he really likes people. He laughs about little common things that everyone laughs about privately or the origins of characteristics in a culture which are a source of humor to members of that culture. His Scottish monologue, which was filmed before a Scottish audience, is filled with shots of his audience rocking with laughter and folks wiping tears from their eyes! He is all about having fun.
I woke up from a "he's cheating on me" dream once. Punched him in the arm then stormed off to sleep on the couch. As I was trying to get comfy on the couch, I realized it was just a bad dream. Luckily, he was able to laugh about it once he was more awake and less confused.

The best thing about Michael is depending upon the kind of day I had I can always find just the right video to watch that related to my awful day and end up laughing about it. He’s hilarious and we love going to visit, my sister on the other hand is a professional eye roller, though laughs as much as we do and loves it, even if she pretends not to!! But genuinely, he is so funny, just hasn’t ever had the urge to go on stage! Such a pity as I’m sure he’d do so well!
