Love PCE. Rode it twice on my Orbea. Yet to do it on my EMTB. I bring a pair of mini needle nose pliers for Cholla sticks. There are four ways to finish from the tractor. Three leave me at my back door for some BBQ. Ping us on the next run!!!
We pedal up on E-mtbs from the bottom, Dunn Road up, cut across Pinyon trail to Palm Canyon Epic. Have been out exploring all the trails around there this year. 7 times so far this year. Doing different variations of the trail combinations. Great place when weather is bad in San Berdo and Riverside.
Great video. Roger rocks! I met him last weekend at the Whiskey Off-road. Funny and great guy - he hooked my 9 year old son up with a Kenda shirt, which is now his favorite.
We did this ride about 6 weeks ago and the trail was in Epic conditions! However, we did an entire loop. We started in Cathedral city and rode all the way to the start of the actual trail. It was a grueling first 4 hours of about 20 miles and around 5k of climbing. Serves as a great training loop with a fun descend. We got lucky that the 3-mile sand area that everyone complains about was not very loose as it had rained the day before and also rained a little bit that same day. Nice video!
Be sure to buy the new exercise book: "How to get 6-pack abs by laughing for 26 miles." By renowned author and accidental mountain bike rider; Heather Munive. Enjoyed this one a lot. Awesome trail and fantastic edit, especially with the shots with the camera facing rearward!
This ride is really what mtn biking is all about......getting out there with your best buds and having a blast. No power meters, no Strava, no heart rate monitor, no nothing except the bike and some food and water. And the more remote the location the better.
Great video Heather really enjoyed it it’s great to see you and your man are still getting out there riding together keep up the awesome videos you both
when I rode this trail in 2011, I was told the trail was called Pines to Palms. But either way great video and also a great trail that is always an adventure.
I’ve ridden all kinds of trails, bike parks, local, road, DH. PCE is the only trail to almost do me in. Got heat exhaustion and nearly got life flighted. Just did it again recently and knocked 2 hours off my PR ha ha. This trail is no joke, bring at least 3 liters of water per person.
Just subscribed. Tagging Roger got me to watch. Love PCE for past 10 years. Will be in PS next weekend but not riding since its supposed to be 102*🥵 Great video!
I live in coachella valley, and did not know about this trail. I dont do bike mountain, but man this looks so exiting i want to try it. And you and your friends make it look so fun , great video
You should come and ride hulda crooks trails on Loma Linda California several single track trails you will love them. But maybe you already had been here.
Great trip, great video! Much more fun crossing a desert mountain range than riding laps in a bike park. What I would do next, if I could borrow your Levo Expert for a day🤣 is the same trip reverse from end point to start point. A 26.6 mi climbing trip basically, testing the bike's low gears, motor, battery and my own fitness😅
Thanks to the crew from Palm Desert Bike n Brews and the Coachella Valley Mountain Bike Association for doing major improvements on the trail this year 🤙🏼.
What a great adventure with some great people. Love Roger !!! Stoked you guys got some water crossings at the PCE. How rare is that ?! Love the Vlog mixed POV videos Heather. So good !!!
that's a seriously hardcore rip. Thanks for the beautiful video share and making us aware... I'd most likely need an ebike, just don't think I have the steam for something like that anymore lol. You guys are super fit!
@@jesusrodrigues2471 After more / necessary research, 9 miles of climb and 17 miles of downhill or flat. Yea that 9 miles would be a leg burner for sure.
You didn't really talk about the 3 miles of soft sand that everyone dreads, a lot of people say its the only reason that they wont do this trail a second time.. It's the reason I wont do it and I live close to this trail.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you guys only did half of the trail. The real pce is a left at the tractor to the han trail. Thats another 2 hours. You went through one of the arts which is like 15 mins to the bottom. Still fun though

"Drop Roger!" "AHHH!" So good, Roger is great in your videos. And he's a great guy to talk to every year at Sedona. Love you videos Heather.
The best thing about your videos is your laughing and enjoyment! I smile the whole time 😊
Good to see Roger!

That is so awesome. Roger is the man !!!
Epic SoCal riding! My daughter gets super excited every time you have a new video.
That look like fun! Awesome job the video was enjoyable to watch. Your laugh is contagious 😊
Thank you 😊
I do this ride every year when I go to Palm Springs. So fun❤
Do your abs hurt after a long ride of laughing so much - OMG!!! That's awesome! :)

Enjoyed your video quite a bit! I live in Palm Springs and it was fun to experience thru you, a part of my hometown that I'll never see for myself.
The laughing puts a big smile on my face!!
Great trail. First started riding it back in 1991, along with all the discovsrers of desert mtb!
We did that trail in March for the first time, loved it! You do need to go when it's cool out, can't imagine riding that in anything over 70.
Well somebody is excited to be on this ride! 🤣You're energy was the same at the finish as when you started!

Hey what a great video! Felt the stoke! We are from Ontario Canada and looking to ride this trail this coming March.
Thanks for the epic video Heather and Ben! Counting the days until next time!

Wowzers! So cool!!!
Great ride & Video, the sandy section can be brutal. I have done it twice never seen water 🤷🏻♂🤷🏻♂
Great video! No mountain biker, just a road bike guy! But 26 miles at 10 mph would take some time(and never go by yourself!)!
I love your enthusiasm and energy. You’re a great rider too. 🤘🏼
You should come and ride hulda crooks trails on Loma Linda California several single track trails you will love them. But maybe you already had been here.
That looked incredible! Thank you for the video!
Nice. I gotta try this trail out.
so fun 😄😍
PCE and Hahn are my two favorite local trails and you did the combo. Glad you had a blast!
Sooooo much fun!

Nice heather your energy is the best 🤟
My wife and I used to visit Palm Springs regularly before I got into mountain bikes. I need to rent a bike the next time we’re out there!
Palm Desert Bike n Brews rents good mountain bikes out there.
Bring your crew out to Greer Ranch in Murrieta, Ca. I’ll show you all around.
Really good video!!! lots of fun
Heather resurfaces! Another great ride :)
Thank you !! Haha I’m back and I’m staying this time 🙌🏽😊
Thanks to the crew from Palm Desert Bike n Brews and the Coachella Valley Mountain Bike Association for doing major improvements on the trail this year 🤙🏼.
So many amazing places to ride. Need to get out there😀
Definitely put this on your list of places to visit !!
That trail has been on my todo list for some time now.
I hope you get to do it. It was so much fun!!
Awesome epik video nice to see you again 👍❤❤
Thank you. Good to be back 😊

This is so much fun to watch as all your videos are! Great job!
Thank you for watching and being a part of all the adventures 😊
Westcoast trails are so cool!
Yeahh Anna! Great job out there! Looks like a great time!
It was a blast 😊
Awesome!
the guy who needed the first aid. was that an H series Orbea Rise? Maybe the full emtb Wild?
Nice! I did a portion of this last year and it was soooooooo windy. Looks like conditions were pretty good for you.
It was honestly perfect. Not to hot not to cold!
Such fun trails I hope you can do the other half sometime.
It’s roger!
Buen video amiga y muchos gritos eres dibertida y muy is te felicito ojala y te mire un dia en Santiago oaks
Have you ever ridden the McKenzie River Trail in Oregon or any cool rides in Mt. Hood?
Saw a Propain bike in the vid. I think Roger's bike. I'd love to hear thoughts on that bike. Was it the Tyee?
that's a seriously hardcore rip. Thanks for the beautiful video share and making us aware... I'd most likely need an ebike, just don't think I have the steam for something like that anymore lol. You guys are super fit!
Looks like 95% of it's downhill. Brakes ,suspension, and the van ride did most of the work.
@@-Primer-def not you absolutely need to have climbing legs and lungs for this trail
@@jesusrodrigues2471 After more / necessary research, 9 miles of climb and 17 miles of downhill or flat. Yea that 9 miles would be a leg burner for sure.
@@-Primer- yeah it is, worth the pain though
Nice trails 👍
passenger princess status woot woot!
Looks like the 'Mt Everest' of mountain bike trails. Start EARLY cause this is an all dayer.
When was this filmed? A lot more water than when i did it earlier this year.
I'll be going soon
Soft, slurpy 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Aylab it you guys crossing the river ohhhh yeahgurrlll
Wow, what a trail! Are you clipped in or using flats? Just curious how other riders tackle unfamiliar trails.
You didn't really talk about the 3 miles of soft sand that everyone dreads, a lot of people say its the only reason that they wont do this trail a second time.. It's the reason I wont do it and I live close to this trail.
That 3 miles is no joke even with a warning that it’s grueling I didn’t anticipate just how much suck it would deliver.

Sweet bike.
Production quality is so good.
Thank you very much 🤓
roger!!!!!!
Was that a finish on Cathedral, or Boo Hoff?
Hiya Heather how long have you been riding?
Looks like a fun crazy place to ride. How long did it take to ride the 26 miles?
With stopping and everything the ride probably took us six hours.
@@HeatherMunive 😲😲😲
Best trail in socal, after it rains
Heather, did you watch darkfest 2023 on here yet?
10 seconds into this ride and i'm thinking "is this a female version of the SingleTrackSampler? 😂😂 Tell me you're his sister or something!😂😂
