This brings back memories. I used to hike those exact trails as a kid in the 80's. I often dreamt of ridng a bike down those hills but MTB wasn't even a glint on the horizon yet. My Huffy BMX didn't even stand a chance. (Not to mention the goatheads meant instant flats as soon as you hit 'wilderness' vegetation.
You were ahead of the game with that vision brother. Yeah man that place is super fun but I could only imagine back then with the goatheads and the geometry back then. Would have been way crazy
It was so fun. Thank you for hosting me. Everything you said about that trail lived up to it. So much fun and it had everything on it. So good!!!! Highly recommend anyone to go out and ride Cat Cove!!!
It sure did E. Plus we were racing the sun so we didnt die out there. Palm Springs in the summer can add to the gnar for sure. Great host, great trails. Had me some cold Kapu coffee when I got back to the hotel as well. Soooooo gooooood !!!

Yes I did Strava it for sure. If you go to Strava and should be able to find The Segment or click on my link tree and it should be there. For sure you wanna park as close to Dunn road Becca’s e that climb is a beast. Worth it but tough
