- I have heard about this trail for a few years now and I was never able to get around to it. THE WHOLE ENCHILADA is a world famous trail in Moab, Utah. I finally packed my bags and booked a flight to Colorado and road tripped with my friends to Moab, Utah!
Unfortunately, we could not get to the top due to weather but we got to ride starting at UPS. It was such an incredible ride, the views were unreal, the company was amazing and the memories made were one for the books. I cannot wait to go back next year and do the whole ride.
Thank you everyone for watching!! And stay tuned for where we rode next.

Girl you the whole Daggon enchilada
So glad you mentioned, "Plenty of water". Rode the Whole Enchilada from the very top Labor Day 2018. Blew through 3 Litres of water and ran out. Very hot day, 106. Rode for three hours without water. Very scary. For anyone riding, take twice as much water as you expect to use.
Agree. Do not underestimate your water. We rode on the "off season" (late July) because we were bike packing from Durango. It was HOT and 5 liters from the Burro Pass trailhead was barely enough. I had 2 liters on the frame and 3 on my back. Still, an amazing ride.
Wow I am so glad you made it without water on such a hot day!! I couldn't believe it either and it wasn't even to hot out and we were definitely not at the top. Such a fun trail and great experience I can't wait to go back and be able to do it from the top!!
you girls crushed it! now its on my bucket list!
Thank you and it definitely should be, it was incredible 😊
Love the energy of your videos
What are the glasses that you used?
NIce to see a few of my BMX peeps in the video! Good stuff!
Yeahhhh!! Bmx crew hitting the mountains
@@HeatherMunive Awww Yeah!!
That trail looks amazing! 😲
It was 😊
Fun video. I used to live in Moab. It's fun to see others discovering our old stomping grounds. Back in the 90s, we rode those trails on hardtails and there were no food trucks so we always ended up at Eddy McStiff's.
Why not Milt’s?!?
dorks. never disrespect the trail. too close, unfocused, perfect combination for injury!
Nice videos. Do you plan a trip to Québec Canada in the future?
Enjoyed the video but the title is a bit misleading...
I have ridden the Whole Enchilada and Porcupine Rim from LPS and there is a huge difference...
The plan was to do the whole ride. Unfortunately due to weather we weren't able to go to the very top. Sorry for the misleading title, I can't wait to go back and do the WHOLE trail sometime.
@@HeatherMunive yes definitely make sure you do the Whole Enchilada at least once and bring lots of water and food...It's amazing but definitely kicked my ass by the end!
The background in the distance just reminded me of those old school arcade racing games (foreground moving, background , stunning as it was. Added to my bucket list trails)
haha Thank you!! and yes, absolutely add this one to your bucket list.
Can I ride with you corazon bello. ?? 🤔
Because of this video I went to Moab July 3 and experienced the Whole Enchilada. I’m the only woman in our group it was hot! Thanks you inspired me to keep on riding!
do u have the website for the shuttle
WOW EPIC RIDE CHICK! WATCHING FROM tRINIDAD AND tOBAGO.i JUST GOT INTO TRAIL RIDING!
The scenery in Moab is amazing, so amazing it didn't even seem like it could be real. I loved riding out there and have been dieing to go back.
I agree 100% Moab was absolutely beautiful, I hope you can make it back out there soon!!
Nope. Stay away.
I liked riding here so much I moved here from the east coast in 99. RIDE365.
I did the WE in the first week of Sept 2023. It was amazing and went through 4L of water. Got a flat (thorns) and my buddy fractured his arm on the Snotch. We finished the ride in 6hrs (at 49yrs old). Cant wait to go back. Heather this video was great as always.
I don’t get the whole enchilada hype. Bunch of gruntwork and three or four technical sections. The scenery is nice though.
That’s sooo awesome, Heather! Keep posting 💕
Thank you 😊
half is a snack
Hi! Very niec
Heather and Madison you make a good team. Just continue making videos for your fans we enjoy it like you enjoy in this trails ahua
❤️❤️❤️
Thank you, I can't wait to ride and share more trails with you😊
This ride is on my list. Have ridden Moab several times, however, I have missed the Whole Enchilada for one reason or another. Partly due to weather (Trail closed). Still on my list!
You didn’t ride the whole enchilada if you didn’t start at Burro Pass lol you starting at LPS is only half enchilada at the most
As always awesome video.
One of these days I hope to travel there to ride. 🤙
I hope you can travel there too, such an incredible place. Than you 😊
Thanks for the video. Mid september to mid October for the WHOLE Enchilada (WE). ( Burro Pass, Hazard County, Kokopelli, UPS, LPS, Porcupine rim.) 3+ liters of water, lunch and snacks. I have done it 3 times. great ride. Budget 5 to 6 hours of riding plus breaks. Take the early shuttle (7AM).
KENS LAKE.
great place to camp...just a few miles out of moab. sssshhhhhh
Hello 👋🏼. Moab is one of my most favorite places. This video randomly showed up and I’m so glad I clicked it. How would someone start with riding? What’s the best beginner bike? How do you get into starting to ride? What equipment is needed? Any and all information you can give would be so awesome. Thank you in advance!
Hey Shirley!!! So awesome thank you for watching and YAASSSSS so stoked to hear you want to ride. First off just get a mountain bike, head over to a local bike shop and see what options they have. I ride a Liv, its a women specific bike and I LOVE it. If you go into my description tab you can click the link to their site and check out all the great bike options. In my opinion what you need to start is a bike, helmet, knee pads and a bottle of water so you can spend hours on the trails. Don't be overwhelmed either, just hop on a bike and ride!! It will change your life!! Let me know how it goes and if you need anymore help, Im here 😊
"Many crashes"....oh well I'm still going anyway as quite an amateur rider. Awesome views from this trail!
We just finished 2022 bmx Florida state championship 60 years old racing expert my but an right leg are killing me but your video makes it worth it while relaxing
If we have a chance, let's ride together I live in Korea
There's Specialized Enduro and Rocky Mountain Power Play
your camera is shaking too much.. that should be not like that. anyway I like your smile 😊 lol
Hi Heather! We are planning a trip in October ’23 and I’d like to know where your base camp was. I’d like to stay there with my RV.
Our MTB club here in Buckeye AZ takes a trip up to Moab almost every year in September. We'll be up there the first week of September this year. Heading to Angelfire and Bentonville next month for a week of sick riding 🤘
You're fantastic, Heather. I wish you were my girlfriend.
After doing Moab, I think it just makes you better rider. All of sudden, oh 6ft drop part of trail normal. Lol
God day!!!have nice trail,enjoy
So nice location,xtra care..ingat lng(phillanguage)
Wath is next while burrito ajajajaja...
Holaaaa!!!
Un Regio en Florida!!!
Slick Rock is the Bomb! All of Moab is! Gotta check the Mt Bike Festival they have near Halloween!
UDAH🤒🤮😷
That was Porcupine Rim Trail, NOT the Whole Enchilada.
Seems that in the US many girls/women ride mtb's. Here in Belgium you hardly come across one.
Awesome ride, thanks for posting!
You look like the female version of the singletrack sample dude.. 🤣
Hi, nice video; what's the brand of your green shoes ? thank you from France/Paris
Hello, nice shades! which brand are they? thanks in advance
The “YEWW” quota was met in the first 5 minutes. Did that stop her? Unfortunately not.
Heather, I’ve looked everywhere, what are your clear glasses that the lenses are wider than the frames??? Please help
Holey Smokes! I gotta go there!!
Rode all of WE this year. If weather permits, start from Burro, it’s worth it.
Oh you have to go back and start at the top of Burro pass! What a fun ride!
I've done this 8 or 10 times since 2001. Best MBT in the world.
Nice view! Nice video.i’m watching from Malaysia.
My friend told me about this trail and sent me the video. Great ride! 👊🏼
What glasses is your friend wearing? Need me some good mtb glasses
I swear, I saw those branches jumped out and claw you -:)
Great video. I did the full ride in 2019 and the same shorter ride in May this year. Epic Trail !!!!
I was also there in 19. Can’t wait to go again!
@@joesmith3908 So awesome and so glad you got to ride it too!
Thank you😊 So happy you got to experience this amazing trail too!!
The other side of the snowy pass seen behind you at 3:18 is where the whole enchilada starts. Next time
I thought about getting the safety glasses and the helmet but it looks so so dorky.
What camera did you use? I like the stabilization
nice to see you at Sedona Mountain Bike Festival Heather!
I rode this for the first time about a month ago. We started from UPS and it was awesome! Definitely going back next year to do the whole enchilada.
Wow. Was there 2014 and 2016. Want ro go back again
I think I heard a Lets Go Brandon ! 😁😂🤣😃😄😅😆😉
Great riding. Have done the Enchilada, Slickrock, and Porcupine Rim in Moab. Only rode Portal on the Mag 7. Portal was really sketchy with extreme exposure. Maybe get over to Grand Junction/Fruita before it gets too cold. Hit the Lunch Loops and Horsethief Bench drop in.
These are great suggestions. Thank you!!! 😁
Hi heather
How could I do that tour? Are there local guides?
Awesome vid 👌. What’s with the huge goggle glasses 🤓?
Where did you guys camp at? Heading there in March
The only way to enjoy this video is muted, she is so loud and noisy🙄
You are such a positive personality. I watch just to get a lift for the day. Did UPS earlier in late March. Incredible bucket list trail.
Thank you Dan!!! and I agree 100% this trail was incredible.
What kind of gleassesare those with the white frames please?
90% of the commentary was “ wheeeuuw” sound
Gas gassssss gasssssssss 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 have fun and ride on 🧨🧨
You did the Half chilada ! You gotta do a whole enchilada with us . Ski ,bike, raft . We call it the whole.enchilada smothered in green Chile's
Wow now that sounds like an ADVENTURE!!! Im in!
Sweet content… new subscriber here🤘🤠!!!
4:47. Wow, how many times have I had this view in Moab?
Is this for an intermediate rider? From UPS
Heather, you all riding 29ers?
That trail is always fun! It's a classic for a reason! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
So Much fun!!
Poison Spyder, Porcupine Ridge.
Been to Moab a few times.
Hey,,,theres that impossible rock climb. About 24 feet or so at like 65 angle....just off of a trail "painted trail" or something. years ago.
Yes I DID do that climb....I had no less than 25 watching and cheering !
Yes I did race and yes I did sometimes beat pros....if they had a bad and I had a good day.
Cheers!
Oh back in the day I won the eric eaton NW Championship Series in the sport category and was forced to race against the Pro/expert.
Glad I did it back then, no way me back could take that today !!😂😂🤣🤣😃😃😋😋😋😋
oh and PS...
I made it down the back side of poisyon spider with just 5 dabs first time and 1 the second time. Down low on those boulders. Missed a hop.
😎👊
did you see the guy that climbed that trail?
Y'all are awesome! My wife and I would love to get together with y'all and ride sometime. Whenever you're out near Vegas, let us know!
That would be so awesome! Hopefully We can make a trip out there sometime soon.
I’m gonna do this without a helmet.
Danm nightmare with all those people!
I find her attractive looking
What bikes are you guys riding ?
That view point at the start of this video is "the edge of the world" which is the start of "Porcupine Rim". I have not been back to Moab since 1994, so could it be they changed the name from Porcupine Rim to the Whole Enchilada??? Back in 1993 my friend and I made it a mission to do it twice in one day and we did just that. We carefully arranged a bike taxi to pick us up where it ends at the Colorado river, it was tricky cause flip phones were useless back then. I just hope they didn't change the name cause of the new onZa owners throwing some legal fit. Why? Because I was the founder of onZa back in the mid 80s and used to go to Moab at least 3 times a year to test our seccession of Porcupine tires there. Great Video.
That is awesome, so cool to see how these trails have been around for years. Porcupine rim is the name of the trail but it it one of the trails that make up the Whole Enchilada. 😊 Thank you
This is the real Hot Riders, literally 😁
Is porcupine rim part of this trail?
You didn’t even ride the whole thing
Those dimples are killing me
Thanks for sharing and keeping it real, hope to ride there in the near future. BTW, what type of tires are you rolling with?
I hope you can make it out to this trail too! Im running Kenda Tires the Pinner pro, if you need any head over to their site on my description tab and use my promo code. I love mine.
At 12:34 Can it be one of those faces in rocks?!
It’s the nearest to Mars you’ll. ever ride
Please consider doing a pantyhose try on video. They are very popular on UA-cam.
Yeah Heather. Try on some pantyhose. 😂
What glasses are those that you wear?
Subbed great channel thanks , some of those trails look brilliant, from a bone chilling UK :)
Thank you!! 😊
