Yo from CO! I cleaned about 95% of Hangover on the up and down the other day on my 4th attempt at this trail and many years of jank/tech practice. Definitely an extreme outing/adventure that can mostly be ridden clean by jank masters but first time is a rough one for sure. Not as "fun" as Hiline but Hangover is an amazing experience.
13th comment. Hangover is a sick trail but it takes some time to figure it out and it's best to follow someone that's really familiar with it to show you the lines. Trails like Hangover are a puzzle and I'm thankful that there still are trails like that, that take a lot of effort to put all of the pieces together. Next time out this way, make sure to stop in Kingman to ride at the Whitecliffs Trail system. I've been working there for 4 years now and I promise you will really enjoy it!
You should try Gooseberry Mesa and Little Creek Mesa near Zion, and Red Canyon near Bryce in Utah. Also do a downhill with a shuttle from the top of Brian Head. That would make for a cool Utah trip for your channel.
"Wait you guys came up that way? No way. I've never seen anyone come up there... Over there is quote "normal" way" ...Now we see what Jeff didn't see 5:36 hike a bike. 😆 ...But it will be funny watching him struggle trying to bike up it next time he's in Sedona.
That’s Nice playing games with fans to win prices the trail looks awesome to ride nice you we’re wearing your strawberry 🍓 gloves going down the hill what awesome view of the trail 😃😘😘😘😘🌹🌹🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Not convince this type of trials are really fun, views are great but not sure if is risk worthy, thank you for sharing and just don’t push for unnecessary risks
Hangover is such a fun Trail, the ride from Cow pies up to the saddle is the most technical part… The hangover side of the trail is not that difficult, but the exposure is definitely a factor for some people. Sounds like it was a little harder than your riding partners were prepared for. The whole point of riding in Sedona to enjoy those fun techie trails. Flow trails just get so boring.
AZ native and I've been to sedona tons of times but seriously the exposure on hangover is not my idea of fun, fast flow or even fun tech. Yall can have that one..
I sure hope you had your elbow and knee pads on at 7:23 and that you're okay! After one too many falls, I always wear them because better safe than sorry. 😉
Wow. I ride clipless but have done the typical fall from not being able to get unclipped and being on the edge of those ledges definitely would be crazy.
@@HeatherMunive you know what? I'm sorry I left that comment. He happens to be my favorite content creator in the MTB space, so I got a little heated. Obviously it wasn't intentional. I hope you have a good evening
@@jackryon3443 it’s all good, for real. Hes an AMAZING rider, so skilled!!! I’m pretty bummed I didn’t catch that typo after you mentioned it now I can’t unsee it 😭 Thank you for catching it and hope you have a great rest of the day too.
The crowds can be wrong. I think this was only the suggestion of a trail. I read some comparison between MTB and riding on the street. But that wouldn't necessarily be a fair comparison concerning the accidents because almost all accidents on the road are from vehicles, not the bike rider making a mistake. If you look at it as far as making mistakes I think on the mountain bike trail such as this one you're much more likely to be injured or worse from a mistake than you would be on the street. Beware of groupthink. This is from an almost old fart who has survived.
You gotta run the trails a few times.... Most double ♦♦'s take a couple runs before you blast through them, no matter how many sponsors or followers you have.
@@senderoni5oh Very cool, Its a lot like the Crested Butte Co. black diamond trails we ride on up here.... Crazy what our bikes can do these days, 32 lb carbon fiber are helpful to me also when we do have to carry... Looks like a blast will be down there eventually for sure. Of course, We all like smooth and flowy, Hangover Hill looks like a cold plunge, crazy to get into but amazing when your done. Peace. thanks
Never thought I'd see Jeff on this channel!
That kenda sign on ur handlebar is quite unique as I've not seen anyone putting these logos on their bikes😂
Kendall-Weed on a retro HT. He needed a Lynyrd skynard shirt and mustache to complete the look.
It's always my favorite when people sit right in the middle of the trail. :)
We used to ride out to the saddle from the "cow pies" and then drop into the canyon down at the creek and come up around Migley Bridge.
The look on Maddie’s face when she lost rock/paper/scissors was so relatable
Amazing trail and awesome ride! 🥰🥰
Awesome trail vid!! All that tech and @Jeff Kendall-Weed sighting, riding Hangover rigid!! 😮
Finally a double Diamond, welcome to our world, good job peeps.

😎😍AZ in the house! These are great trails. I rode them many times! 👍
Such a fun and beautiful place
Madison is spot on...techie trails can be exhausting, but still rewarding to check the box :)
Exactly. I figured they had to do it at least once

Awesome suggestion, I can't wait to make my way back and check out Whitecliffs trail system. And I agree Hangover is sickkkk, lots of work but fun!
on the edge of my seat with that video, ya'll killed it!!
😊
I'm with Matty on this one....Flowy trails, baby! That was a crazy, awesome video though, and that slide was epic!
Thank you 😊
Epic trails - brave/ awesome 👊

Amazing trails, but not for me; I couldn’t afford the repairs to my bike and my body.
Thanks for creating and sharing this great video!

After about 6th time you ride it starts growing on you.. Also the more you look at steep stuff the flatter it looks
Thank you for this. I swore I’d never do this trail again but now I might
I love that trail, but I guess maybe it’s not for everyone. I give it a 10 out of 10. Thanks for the video.
I enjoyed it too. challenging but fun
I’m here in AZ but could not bring my bike this time. I’m living it through you Heather lol thanks.
Awe what a bummer. But hey at least you’re taking the ride down with us thru this video haha thank you for watching! Enjoy Sedona. It’s so beautiful 😍
You should try hitting Ebbn Flow in Vegas!!
Respect!🙌

how the heck you end up on some abandoned Trail when you went up to the saddle? it's rideable uphill if you stick to the trail

hahah I agree the exposure is pretty wild. I feel like no one talks about it either.
That guy Jeff 🔥
Epik trail
This looks like my kind of trail
i dont know.. i usually only ride park (chuckles)

That wasn’t easy Peezy , but look fun and challenging 😰
hahah Thank you 😊
Sub'd! Great content!! The next time you're in AZ, I'd love to interview you :D
Do you ride flats or clipless on those trails?
Clipless
Wow. I ride clipless but have done the typical fall from not being able to get unclipped and being on the edge of those ledges definitely would be crazy.
Interested in the pedal/shoe combo! I’d have been on my face most of that ride 😂
🤟😁❤️❤️❤️
I rode this trail blind at 7 in the morning with no one in sight. Lets just say I walked a few obstacles.
wow I would have done the same!!! congrats for making that ride happen though
How did you not spend the 4 seconds it would have taken to figure out how to spell Jeff's name correctly?
Truthfully thought I put Kendall-Weed. But you’re right. I should have double checked the spelling.

I couldn't even finish the riding footage. Anxiety won me over. 😧

Holy Moly! Way sketch. 😨 ☢
Who else here from Jeff's video?
I have ridden as well and agree with Maddie. Checked it off the list ..

I have to agree with Madison.. hangover is a little overrated.. I love Sedona though!
