  • In this video, I show you guys how I make an easy, Homemade Applesauce recipe for my daughter, Adriana. Even if you don't have kids, this applesauce would be awesome on its own or in baking recipes.
All you need are Organic Apples, a little of Cinnamon and a little bit of fresh Lemon Juice. That's it. So simple, delicious and nutritious.
Thanks for watching. Hope you guys enjoy this video and recipe. If you'd like to see more cooking videos, make sure to like, comment and share to let me know that you do.

I'm making this today for myself...thank you. I never knew it was this easy to make. I would've stopped buying store brand chemical filled apple sauce a long time ago.

Sweet and lovely Leyla. You are making us happy by being back on UA-cam. My daughter is already 3 but I will definitely cook this for her and give it instead of a (home made) muffin. Love from Belgium.

Love the recipes! I'm also a momma and need inspiration:)
Is your blender bowl made out of plastic or glass? If it's plastic, i think it would be better to let the apples cool a little before adding them...cause, even if it is BPA free, heating it up releases all kinds of nasty chemicals into the food.
I cannot wait for more recipes! Glad to have u back!

is it anymore nutritious after boiling apples?

    • @l12al61
      @l12al61 7 років тому +1

Shilpa Kumar boiling does reduce the nutritive value. but she uses this while cooking other dishes... that way the heat stable nutrients are added to the fud..and it compliments the taste. i have seen that she gives ample amt of fresh fruits to adriana..so its ok that she makes the sauce this way . a lot of parents get so panicky abt simple things like " wil boilin destroy nutrients" etc tht they 4get the bigger picture - u need to make fud tasty for a toddler to eat it!☺ so a few adjustments r fine as long as u figure an interestin n different method to compensate for it

Very bad technique. You added a ton of water in the beginning and then threw it out when putting the apples in the blender. That water is full of flavor. It would have been much better if you had just added much less water in the beginning and kept it all. The apples release their own liquids so you don't need to add more than a cup in the beginning.

Please be careful when using knives. You're going to cut your finger off if you keep doing it this way! Use a chef's nice to chop the apples instead of sawing them with a serrated knife, and curl your fingertips in.

Thank you, great recipe. I have been making my 6 month old granddaughter's baby food.
I blend it all up and FREEZE it into the ice cube trays.
You just have to take out the cubes an hour or so ahead of time so that they thaw.
It is extremely important that we make our own organic raw baby food. Even if it is organic, which most commercial baby food is not, cooking kills the enzyme and some of the vitamins, but PASTEURIZING kills the rest of the nutrients. All canned and jarred food is double processed.
The most important reason is that most if not all commercial baby food is tainted with heavy metals.
Government House Oversight Report from February 2021 has a lot of info on the contamination.
    oversight.house.gov
    Look for February 2021 article.
Beechnut, Gerber, Sprout, even Earths best all tainted.
You would think the FDA would do a recall or at least allow people to know what's going on but no.
