Rossi and other makers make lever actions in compatible strength rounds such as the .454 casull and the 500 mag, so strength isn't an issue, what is an issue is the rimless nature of the .50 AE a lever mechanism can't function with it. Maybe a single shot rifle by Thompson contender but I'll hold my breath on that.
We need bolt-action rifles in these big-bore pistol calibers. With stripper clips, too! In fact, a bolt-action 9mm would be wonderful. We need to phase-out .22LR in favor of reloadable cartridges.
A 9mm PCC will get pretty much the maximum potential out of the round while allowing a greater rate of fire. The round needs volume to be effective against anything but small game. You can still put a scope on a PCC if you want to. TL;DR a 9mm bolt action would be basically pointless.

I really want to own one of these, heck, I’d be happy if I was just allowed to shoot one of these. I know these are super impractical and the recoil is probably equal to shooting a shotgun one handed, but I just want to experience it
Edit: I shot one, congratulations to me

If only Henry Rifles would make a 50AE lever action. That would be a hoot!
If they used the regular old wood , they'd probably splinter after awhile of shooting it. But hek if someone can make those without it breaking, I'll watch it! xD
Neat idea. How many people are really willing to invest the time, money, and energy to reloading cartridges?
A 9mm PCC will get pretty much the maximum potential out of the round while allowing a greater rate of fire. The round needs volume to be effective against anything but small game. You can still put a scope on a PCC if you want to.
TL;DR a 9mm bolt action would be basically pointless.
Fell in love with Desert Eagle since Call of Duty 4
Fell in love with it in 1989 when a Danish gun dealer reviewing it for a Norwegian magazine showed it to me. I declined to shoot it in his living room, I regret that now...

Good gun for a movie.
Bad gun for daily carry:
Big, heavy, too much recoil.
I have a .50AE Desert Eagle and as much as I love it even I can admit it's horrible for conceal carry/self defense.
Who cares its a desert eagle you don't get it because it's practical, you get it because it's awesome.
People buy these because they’re iconic. That’s why they produce them in gold and silly impractical finishes such as that.
I don’t think anyone buys this with conceal carry in mind. I sure didn’t!
Just got mine and it is going to be with me every day.
How do you handle recoil so well? You made that look like you were shooting a 9mm. I shot a .50AE Eagle for the first time today, I'm an experienced shooter, but the vertical climb for me was substantial. What's your secret?
Nate Ivey built in shock absorbers
Hes also like 6'6 or something like that so 😂
He holds the gun with arms or arm firmly extended and “locked”. When firing as well “pushing forward” during shots minimizes the recoil.
Massive hands
Just lean in heavy and hold on tight lol
If you shoot that at dusk, you can sometimes see a ring of fire (the muzzle flash forming a ring). Like you see on battleships...
mine shoots a ring every single time

To Survive Dangerous Game attacks, like Elephants, Tigers, Lions, Moose, Bear and Bigfoot.

@@laptopdragon think about that a little bit. A 5.56 or more likely 7.62x51 will stop an engine block much easier than a even a .50caliber handgun. It's not like boarder police are limited to handguns.

The 14 year old me emerges every time I think about a Desert Eagle. Yes, its totally useless but everyone wants one.
Is it really THAT bad a practical weapon?
@@CrystalKingdomGeneral4942 no, its not totally useless and definitely worth the money
@@a226sig It's probably in the video, but what are it's best and worst qualities?
@@CrystalKingdomGeneral4942 cons being you waste $ 2.50 USD every time you fire the weapon, super heavy, huge price, and a broken radius after every shot, those are the big ones.
pros are being able to basically shoot a thermonuclear bomb, having the stopping power of a race car crashing into a wall, and less home intrusions, and every dude at the range getting jealous at you.
@@lilfilmami So basically awesome but impractical?
