As a school we entered the Aer Lingus school boys event in 1972, we got to the final at Sunningdale, we were the only comprehensive school in the final, all these private schools turning up in logo’d buses, with golf coaches etc. we went in parents and sports masters cars, came second and made the national press. Not sure why the event finished, highlight of my school days. Good luck to this generation, Underrated seems to be doing a great job. LIV for the young, fantastic
