I feel like this game was inspired by the 2 guys that do pools in the jungle at you tube

Yeah i love how Farket does playthroughs. He's like one of those minecraft building tutorials but for the whole game. However it's concise and not annoying.

Green Hell has seasons, you're just in the dry season now. That's why it rained so much, and then not at all
The game does have wet/dry "seasons" coded in, actually!
Also, you can use the crafting screen to carry multiple mud bricks from place to place. Open up the crafting screen, click and drag the mud bricks and then move to the area. Closing the screen tosses everything on the ground. Can do the same with big rocks, etc.
Farket! Love your content. I keep hearing you bring up leeches and bushes, they have nothing to do with each other.
Leeches automatically spawn on you based on time and distance. If you stay in the same spot for several in game days you get no leeches, run away in any direction w/o touching any bushes... instant leeches.
Also the various firestarting tools are mostly cosmetic. Just use the easy to make one.
Finally incase you dont know, leaving food on a drying rack preserves them indefinately, just eat direcrly off the rack. Same thing works with fireplaces ect. If you pick up the food it instantly will rot..
Its a pretty buggy and unusual game but I love it.
One of the most underrated UA-camrs keep it up great content

im so glad you played it. after years i finally got the game and i just wanted to see how to survive green hell difficulty, lucky me, you are crazy enough to start hardcore^^
I haven't played this game since they patched out the placement "bug". Not being able to build a small hut where I place two sheds next to each other on either side of two frames, then cover them up with mud is a deal breaker. I've had a doorway at the front, a mud fireplace at the back, a dryer and a bed on either side, etc. ... the whole thing was cozy as hell. If I build it in one very specific order I can do it, but if the natives knock down random pieces, I can't repair it anymore.
Anyway, being able to tell where you have the leeches would make sense, just as you could tell where it itches in real life.

Farket, the game has weather cycles! You start off in the wet season, it goes into the dry then back into the wet!

Hi Farket! We recently played through green hell, and also found the storage box bug. One way to work around it, is to place something in the 'red' area where it technically doesn't fit, and it will auto snap into a stack where it should go. But if you manually place it into that same stack, it will bug out and vanish.
Give it a try! It really saved my game, even though it was still a crap bug.

They claim it's restrictive for realism, but in reality you would just use less or more mud for those foundations depending on elevation.

The rain stopping is because of the season system. The first season is the rainy season, and lasts around 14-20 days or so. After that comes the dry season, which lasts around as long. It cycles back and forth as you go on.

The problem with stuff like C&B is that having that size of possibility reduces creativity. Why find a creative way to create a chair when you can just chisel a block into a chair? I would love to see a Minecraft playthrough from Farket however.

I'm constantly destroying sticks and small sticks (because I need logs and long sticks more), as to not clutter up the whole jungle (and I heard too many items produce lag).

I am watching the first episode of this series and I heard you are looking for a ,,your type'' of game. There is one closely related to the forest, good visuals but not as polished on an alien world. I say try Vortex the Gateway. It has mixed reviews because it came out from Early Access way too early in my opinion but your audience may enjoy it and yourself too. Is worth a check at least.
I'd love to see you do some videos on Valheim. Building tips for example.

According to the devs, the first 25-30 days in game is always the wet season. The next 25-30 days is always dry season. Every 25-30 days after that, it randomly switches between the two. So you have the chance for very long wet or dry seasons. And water lily soup takes care of food poisoning.

I don´t know if you will ever read this or come back playing this game. But there is a way you can move all 6 mudbricks at once so you don´t have to run back and forth. The way you do it is: you need to take all 6 of them out of the mixer, just pick em up and throw em on the ground. Then you opening your crafting and you can drag and drop all 6 bricks onto the sheet. Well you can´t move your camera while doing this but still this way you can move all of them at once.
This game is one of the few that literally would make me feel suffering even tho i just sit infront of my monitor

Another really bad bug is when you play co-op. If the host player dies, as well as a client player, the client players will lose all their items for good, even when the host reloads a save. This has been reported by many players and the devs have done nothing about it. We all ended up rage quitting and I doubt we’ll buy anything from those devs again.
Hey Farket just wanted to say I enjoy the videos like how im not the only one who sees the goofy side of it all. I'm curious I looked through your videos and I can't find a video on how to make my zipline longer. I'm on ps4 so I cant use mods. Any chance I missed a video you made? Of not can you make a video on it. I mostly want to make a zipline across the lagoon for logging

Farket... Use a blade for smaller foliage instead of the ax. You get more resources (long bamboo sticks) and its faster in tearing down the underbrush.

Hey dude, watching your playthroughs on the forest and enjoyed them so much that I've now bought the game and am building a lot. One thing I cant figure out (and I'm seeing a lot of people on reddit and steam communities saying the same thing) is how to connect building to the crane. I'm trying to connect 2 cranes together with a bridge or custom floor. Nobody seems to be able to help. Could you do a video explaining how to do it?

The reason your axe was losing so much durability is that you were using it for the wrong tasks. Blades are meant for clearing bushes, and axes are for chopping trees. When using the correct item for the correct task, you will lose less durability.

There are wet and dry seasons in-game, so that's why it stops raining after a time. Give it a while and it'll be wet season again.
The orange mushrooms also get rid of 1- food poisoning per.
I believe the rain thing is intentional to be fair (the rest is pretty bad tho) it is supposed to be a rainy season and dry season if I remember correctly.

I've been lucky to never have the stack bug happened to me. I would be so pissed as I stockpiled both iron and charcoal as well as feathers.
I have green hell, they fixed it in the update that went through today it seems, my stuff isnt disappearing in chests, they can walk jnto village huts now, and spirits of amazonia is out
