When my grandparents passed we sold their furniture for thousands of dollars. They had it for years so I thought it was just old and outdated stuff, but it turned out it was very designer and mid century modern etc.

She definitely needs to buy an older van or truck for like $5,000 she could totally increase her margins not needing a moving truck rental, and for some pieces where a truck rental would eat into her margin it would now be profitable for her.

I been going the Estate sale for a while, for a few years, but not much now, which I sell on Ebay. Usually Saturday is the best time to go, because they drop the price by 75%.. THUR full price Fri 50% off Sat 75%. I found other stuff on facebook marketplace, toys at a local store, sport card at local store or Ebay to resale.. pretty much now then estate sale. I do not buy large item that require 2 man carry too much hassle and it cost more to ship large item..

Honestly I’ve never seen the appeal of spending tons of money on an “aesthetic”. I don’t care if my furniture is ikea and everyone else has it. I like clean lines and simple furniture and don’t really give a shit if someone else has my dresser lol

Not really, I see it functioning more like an art gallery. If a piece really speaks to you, not listing a price usually works in the seller's favor as it makes it more "exclusive" (not to mention buyers are the ones having to start the offers).

She definitely needs to buy an older van or truck for like $5,000 she could totally increase her margins not needing a moving truck rental, and for some pieces where a truck rental would eat into her margin it would now be profitable for her.

I would consider doing more of a online sales of the item and have customer cover the shipping cost hidden within the price or just disclosed as a part of checkout.

I been going the Estate sale for a while, for a few years, but not much now, which I sell on Ebay. Usually Saturday is the best time to go, because they drop the price by 75%.. THUR full price Fri 50% off Sat 75%. I found other stuff on facebook marketplace, toys at a local store, sport card at local store or Ebay to resale.. pretty much now then estate sale. I do not buy large item that require 2 man carry too much hassle and it cost more to ship large item..

Not really, I see it functioning more like an art gallery. If a piece really speaks to you, not listing a price usually works in the seller's favor as it makes it more "exclusive" (not to mention buyers are the ones having to start the offers).
