this is SUCH a helpful vid! i used to post photos of my clothes on the ground and now i realize that's not smart! so i do it on a hanger or on my bed now :) love this video!!
I really love this video it is so informative and all information that i wanted and didnt even expect to know are all here thank you so much for this video!❤️ im starting out a thrift company really found the tips worth listening to
Hi just wanted to give a little bit of constructive criticism on the video. The video is great but segmenting it into categories would be very helpful. I don't sell clothes so I went to skip the section about selling clothes to go over the parts that were helpful for me, but because it wasn't categorized I had to "surf the video" to get to the portion I wanted. Overall awesome video and I hope your business is doing really well!
Thanks so much for sharing these tips! Definitely some valuable gems I haven't seen anywhere else before such as target following and the branded available hashtag. 💡
Hi Alisha! Thank you for this video, it was suuuuper helpful. Do you mind sharing how sales tax works when running an IG biz like this? I’ve owned multiple businesses but have always had shopify or squarespace to collect sales tax. How does this work? Thank you!
you shouldn’t use venmo or cashapp because it isn’t safe. you can easily get scammed and venmo and cashapp doesn’t insure/cover you (they don’t have buyer/seller protection)!
@@jfishx hello! i suggest paypal because they cover you, just make sure it’s threw business and not family and friends (they don’t cover family and friends). when using it threw business they have buyer/seller protection whereas these other ones don’t :)
Hi 👋🏾 New & Sub… My nieces are Big on tik tok I was thinking about getting an account and advertising my inventory & you jus gave me confirmation that I was on to something, Thanks for making this video ❤️💐💯

hi, thank you for making this video,, i'm just started with my thrift online shop,, and this makes me easy how to get success, anyway is there a tutorial about how to make photoshoot for the item?

Hi. Do you think it matters what type of Paypal account you have? Should it be one of their business accounts? Thank you for this video! You answered many of the questions I had and was unable to find the answers for. ☺
Ok love the video but I have a question. How do you do sizing? Do you just target a special size for a item or do you sell all items in different sizes?
What app did you use at the beginning for your logo? Why aren’t you supposed to use Venmo and PayPal? You mention that but didn’t go into detail. Thanks
@@bookscoffeebirkenstocks can you give insight as to how to correctly keep track of inventory, income and how you operate the business aspect of the thrifting??? Once I sell.. I just pocket it? Did you get a business banking account?? Business license ??? Thanks !!!!
Great video. How do you handle state sales tax? Currently Etsy & EBay does this for sellers (me). Any hints on how to charge for and remit to each state?? Thanks
Honestly, the best thing to do is research your state's law and/or consult an accountant. I really do not know much, so I go to my accountant when I need to file taxes.
Great video. I just had more questions after. Do you use a business page or just a regular one? and how does the biding work do you allow the bidding to go above the BIN price?
Well this came at the perfect time. I’m having my first drop this Saturday :) praying all goes well!

You’re not suppose to use it for businesses because they can take your account and Confiscate your money

So what do you do with items that don’t sell at auction? Do you just leave them up at BIN price or?
And how do you manage delivery outside country? Won't it make loss sometimes? 😭 Even in the same country, helpppppp sister 🙏
what is the app you used in the video for the profile pic
Awesome video! So helpful, question ... what if you are wanting to sell items you can't fit in? I can't model them, any creative suggestions??
I usually use a foam board that is white, but you can also use a dress form!
